Couch POTATO to "MARATHON" HONEY! :)

FAT SMASH DAY 12!!!! (Friday/MOVIE NIGHT IN)

Bkfst: 1/4 cup of Almond Milk
1/4 cup of Kellogs Special K (got soggy-yuck)
1/2 banana

Snack: 1/4 cup of Brown Rice w/ Kidney Beans mixed

Lunch: Hatuchay Peruvian Restaurant (brother treated me and the bf)
--Shared a mixed Raw Ceviche plate. (1 little salad plate full-1 inc. barrier)
--3/4 of a Small hand size French Bread Roll w/ butter
--Dipped in massive green sauce (spicy as hell)- I think it's cilantro with something. who knows.
--1 causa (can't even describe it?)-small, with some tuna, and onions, and peas, flour? i dunno)
Shouldn't have ate the bread! DAMN!
(So glad I got to see my bf. I miss him :beating:! I just want to eat him up and bite his chubby cheeks!)

Snack: (will be) 1 grapefruit

Dinner: Oh Well!. 2 oreos
2 chips ahoy
1 chocolate truffle (like 3 hershey kiss size into one-covered w/ dust)
1/4 cup of Merlot wine (Movie Night in! At least I kept the potion somewhat under!!

Exercise: none



I am sooooooo exhausted today!!! :ack2: I stayed out until 4:30 am :eek: without meaning to. My phone died and I lost track of time talking with a friend and her friend, after I got out of class at 10pm. The great part is that I got 2 clients out of it for Hypnotherapy hours (her friend and her mom)!! :D!! NICE!! I also drank like 3 medium/large size cups of Pink Wine---which amounted to be near the whole bottle!! :angelsad2:...Oh well, at least I had a control on my eating and I didn't snack AT ALL...and she had hamburgers there too!!! I've found that lately my heaviest meals are before 4pm. After that I only try fruit and or something Super light! Just looking at something that is TOO MUCH portion lately, gives me a stomach ache without me eating it even, so I moderate it by the way I'm going to feel afterwards. This is working thus far. Today I feel and look slimmer than yesterday too!! :beating: Can't
wait for Monday's weigh in!!! :D!!!

...Also, I have a Hypnotherapy session tonight with my Hypnotherapist! I miss her!! :beating:!!! She is FANTASTIC!!! We can all use a little help on things here and there! ;)!!! School is draining. I'm going EVERY single day!!! Damn!!! I plan to get a 10 mile run in on Sunday morning, so definitely no drinking Saturday! I would LOVE if I smashed some pounds this week!! I want 155 lbs BAD!!!!!! (actually 149...but soon)! ;)!!

I'm sure with the amount of exercise you're doing the weight must be dropping off - 155 wont be far off!!

Wish I had the time and the motivation for that sort of commitment! Thanks to a crazy schedule I have very little time, so most of my work has to be on the diet front.

Anyway, enjoy the rest of your weekend... oh, and I'm still following your lead and eating off the little plate! :D x
 
Hi Alta. Sounds like you are exercising hard again. Me too. Unfortunately no weight loss for me (damn meds). Keep up the great work! Maybe I missed it but are you losing weight again? If my memory is correct, your ticker has gone down.
 
Hi Alta! :) Glad to see you're smashing away there... :smash: That's the way, and as Jamie Oliver in his super-Brit accent would say, "Keep givin' it some!!!" (Although he was referring to blending stuff). You are so RIGHT about portion sizes. What is it about you and me that we seem to hit on things the very same week, together??? I say this cos I was just thinking about portion sizes this week. I was scooping food out of the saucepan and after a ladleful I wondered if I should scoop out more, and I did. But when I ate the food, I realised that that extra little scoop was just a little too much and sent me into stomach bloated mode... If I had just left it at the original no. of scoops, I would have been perfectly satisfied! :) I guess what the ancients said was true: 'The eyes are never satisfied.'

But anyway, I'm always inspired reading your diary and hearing what you've been getting up to. I can't believe you went to bed at 4.30am and got up for school! Where I am it's nearly 4.30 am now... and I was gonna have a sleep-in tomorrow... but now that I've read your diary, I feel kind of guilty... Should get up and go to the gym.... See what you do to me? :smilielol5: :sifone:

P.S. I love the idea of a Portion Police! We should immortalise that one in the Oxford Standard Weight Losers Dictionary. :)

hahah....girl...we could all use some Hypnotherapy!! :beating: ...It's so relaxing and I used it for my Marathon as well, and I use it for a lot of running, and for focus, and business launching, and for well....anything!! hahah!!!:smilielol5:!! I also practice a self hypnosis, with positive affirmations while I work out. :beating:!!!

...thank you for your nice comments!! I sure hope that my work isn't derailed by all the little baby chocolate bites I have been having lately! I definitely am more satisfied with my efforts on a collective basis though! ...I love that you stop in here! :beating:!!! ;)

Hey Derrick!!!...That's great that you are working out hard again!! I'm excited for you! ..Feels great getting back in the swing of things right!? It's so hard to wonder how we fell out for a moment right?! :blush5:! In regards to weight smashing for you,...I'm sure that your body composure must be changing though. You are doing a whole lot and something is happening!...it's just a matter of time that the scale follows. You'll see. You'll get past the meds holding you back. ;)

...I'm actually doing much better now, thank God!! I am finally smashing LBS. :D! I've made my weigh in's on Monday's and am going along with the Biggest Loser people on TV. So I have done 2 weigh in's and Smashed 7 lbs!!...:cheers2:~~!!! Tomorrow is weigh in again, and I'm excited to see what happens! :toetap05:

This weekend was mellow.. ...On Friday night, I had my Hypnotherapy session and I felt amazing!! I was especially happy because I filled out the lease so that I can use one of the offices there to see clients...so that's getting approved on Tuesday. Also, I was reallllllly excited, because this man that I had met at the gym about 3 weeks ago and I had given an envelope to get a complimentary hour of hypnotherapy, called me and said he was interested. That day, he had been very interested in my book, which was called the "E-Myth" the Entrepenueral Myth about small business and why they fail and how to adapt to prevent that. He seemed to be going through a stump in his business at the time, and was very intrigued in Hypnosis to get past certain issues. I'm calling him on Monday, to make an appointment. My schedule is so packed, that it's gonna be SUPER tough for me, but I WILL find the time!!!...Where there is a will, there is a way!!...Once, I graduate after April then seeing clients will become way easier! I was able to squeeze in hours for electives as well,...and then I was dead beat from the night before, and staying out late...and since I have a full time job in the day time as well Mon-Friday, I was dead,... so yeah!...Tired! ...:ack2:...So, Movie Night was in order!! :sifone:

...I decided to start telling myself that I can have anything I want to eat, and that I will notice that the more I can have it, the more I will actually not want it as it becomes available. :conehead: Filling my head with affirmations & positive suggestions!! ...So I bought a bottle of red wine, Oreos, and Chips Ahoy to share with the hunnie and 3 movies! I love movie nights in!! & I bought him and myself matching His & Her SNUGGIES!!! :hurray: OMG I LOVEEEE MY PINK SNUGGIE!! :beating:!! hahah!! It goes everywhere with me in the house!! haha!!! Soon, I want to get the dog one too!! hahah!!!..That'll be comedy!

Saturday, school turned out to be closed, and I ended up going running with my running partner on the most beautiful day ever!!!! :hurray: ..We met at our usual spot ...we call this run our "confidence builder trail run"...because we know it, and once the mind can do something once, it can do it again!.... She was actually having some issues going on with her lately, and she wanted to work on them, so I actually did a one hour Hypnotherapy session with her in my car, while we were parked waiting to go run. :beating: Then, we had an amazing run & she felt way more relaxed after the session!! Very needed!!! It feels good, that I could offer that type of assistance to someone near me when they feel overwhelmed! We ran our 10 miles & called it a beautiful Love Filled day!!

....Went home, relaxed, watched some movies with the hunnie, went to Subway, got a Turkey Roast on Wheat w/ mustard and no mayo, no cheese,... came back,...watched more movies and then went @ 3am to eat out at Bob's Big Boy Diner! It gets so packed with people there!!! The doors would not stop opening and opening! ...It's a pretty cool place, even the Beatles had eaten there and every Friday they have a Old Classic Car Show there! :chillpill: We shared a plate, and I watched my portions.

....So today, Sunday, I woke up, and since my bf was leaving for a little, I decided to take opportunity and use the time to whip on the running shoes before I do anything and get to being POSITIVE!!! I ate 1/2 banana..and LEFT on my 4.5 mile Hill Run to the Hollywood Sign! It is amazingly beautiful up there!!..Came, back and right away popped a Jillian Michael's video w/ 8lbs in. Wooohhh. Tired. After that, went downtown and bought all kinds of discount jewlery for $20 at discount retailers that sell jewlery you get for like $10-15 each in other stores, for just $1 each. :eek: I loveeee it down there!!...I got a cute scarf as well! Came home, cooked tons of Lentils mixed with Brown rice, cause that's what I plan to eat for most of the week!! hahah!! It's boring, but easy and healthy! I feel good about myself today, and I hope to wake up early tomorrow to do exercise, and start my day right...so that at night I can go to the gym and do the weigh in deed. Same time, same place!! :D!!

1/2 cup of Almond Milk (30 cals)

Snack: 1 banana, 1/2 cup Red Merlot wine, 1 chocolate truffle (size of 3 hershey's kisses in one)

Lunch/Dinner: Subway 6": Roast Turkey on Wheat Bread-
-no mayo, no cheese, mustard, oil, vinegar
(350cals)

Snack: 3 cups of Smart Pop Popcorn Popped (45 cals)
1/2 Sparks Alcohol Drink (8.0 alcohol) -10 oz. consumed
1 chocolate truffle

Snack: Late Night Munchies @ 3am: Bob's Big Boy Diner
1/3 cheese omellete
3 scoops salsa
2 bites of Hash Browns
1/2 slice of Wheat Toast w/ butter and jelly
12. oz of Orange Juice (pulp)

Exercise: 10 mile run w/ Sprint intervals
5 mins. of dancing, 3mins of Yoga :cheers2:!!!


FAT SMASH DAY 14 (Hollywood Sign Run/Jillian Michaels-Sunday!)

Bkfst: 1/2 banana
4. oz water

Later Bkfst: 1/2 grapefruit
1/2 cup of Kellogs Special K cereal
1/2 cup of Almond Milk
1/4 banana slices in cereal
8. oz water
1 chocolate truffle

Snack: 1/2 Sandwich- Turkey Roast from -7-Eleven -
-on wheat bread, lettuce, cheese, mustard
16. oz water

Lunch: 1/2 cup of Special K Kellogs Cereal
1/2 cup of Almond Milk
1/4 banana slices in cereal
2 cups of Hot Dieters Tea

Dinner: 1/2 cup of Lentils mixed with Brown Rice (cooked together)

Late Snack: 1 small yogurt-cherry flavor-Dannon
1 chocolate truffle
5 vanilla wafer cookies (small ones)
1 hot Night Time tea
1 bite of Mozarella cheese w/ salami rolled in the middle :drool5:

Exercise: 4.5 mile Huge Hill Run to Hollywood Sign (intervals)
20 min. Jillian Michaels video w/ 8lb weights back to back.


.....keep it FAT SMASHING!!! :smash: I hope the little chocolate truffles didn't mess up my weigh in tomorrow!!...I'm feeling good though!! ;)!!

Lunch: 1/4 lentils w/brown rice (together)
1 small yogurt-cherry
1 cup hot dieter's tea

Dinner: Kabuki Sushi Restaurant
1 spicy tuna salad w/ soy sauce
8 edamame
3 rolls of Salmon Baked over california roll (i tasted the mayo .hmm)
1 1/2 Hot Saki (woohoo...stayed away from the beer)!!!

Snack: 1 1/4 cup of Frozen Yogurt (assorted flavors)
sprinkled w/ white yogurt chips, shredded coconut, and little cheescake tiny squares) :drool5:!




Exercise: none--raining super hard. Got lazy. and Cuddled and was tipsy from the saki! hahah!! ;)!!

Wow 27 pounds lost and five to go! Stellar!!

And love your eating habits. I have yet to learn how to cook with lentils. So far I've been buying them prepared at vegetarian take-out places lol.

....I'm LOVING this FAT SMASH!!! :D!!! I have been eating healthy with great portions that don't make me feel yucky and it's paying OFF!! :coolgleamA:

....That would make it 10 lbs smashed in 3 weeks!!! :hurray:

...The key is the Portions Alta!!! Keep up the small portions and you can do this, along with exercise of course, but YES!!!!!...I'm shooting for another 3-4 next week too!!! Why not!?!?! ;)!!!!

....I had decided to weigh myself today, to start the Biggest Loser Challenge on the threads, but I really started along with the show 3 weigh in's ago. Tonight is the SHOW's 3rd weigh in, so I wanted to SYNC with them exactly!!

...There isn't anyway I'm only going to watch them from home, when I can go along with them!! :D!!! :jump:!!!

...Also, last night we ate sushi, but I stuck to the Sashimi tuna salad and put a little soy, and Instead of the Sapporro Beer I really wanted I had Hot Saki (hot wine)!!! ....I am making better choices, and realize that small things add up.

My number one rule to myself this past week has been:

"Even if your portion looks small, cut it in half anyway! Save the rest for a later snack! No rush! Feel Great!"
(so far, so good!!) ChhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeooooooWW!!!!

Fat Smash Day 16!!! (Weigh In! TUESDAY!) 3lbs smashed!! :party:!

Bkfst: 1/2 cup of Special K Cereal
1/2 cup of Soy Milk

Snack: 1/2 grapefruit

Snack: 1/2 grapefruit
4 little chunks of dried meat (chicharon looking) 1/2 thumb size each.
16.oz of water

Lunch: (will be) Soup w/ varied veg and meat, carrots
(1 1/2 cup including soup) w/ little rice sprinkled on (1/2 cup in the whole thing-chopping into 2 servings) ---FULL ate a little too much soup. Should have left the other 1/2 cup in the bowl. ;(

Snack: 1 weight watchers little cake (size of my thumb 100 cals)

Dinner: (will be) Soup w/ varied veg and meat, carrots
(1 1/2 cup including soup) w/ little rice sprinkled on (1/2 cup in the whole thing-chopping into 2 servings) I was so full. I ate this at 5pm.

Snack: 1 apple, 2 hot teas



Tonight: I plan to go to class after work, and I plan to be able to finalize the lease agreememnt for the new office for me to work out of for my Hypnotherapy,...cause I have clients waiting now. Sheshh! Now it's me!! hahah....Also, a friend is begging me to go have a drink with her tonight whom I haven't seen in 4 months. She sounds stressed a little and maybe she wants to be one of my case study hours. So I'm gonna go. It's raining hard though, so we'll see.

Exercise:---Yoga poses 20 mins. while I watched Biggest Loser!!
25 mins. Jillian Michaels Maximize Full Frontal w/ 8lb weights
20 mins. of Yoga Poses w/ Meditation music and Positive Affirmations
Listened to my 10 min. Recording of my Hypnotherapy Session this past week. (then off to bed) Dropping nuggets in my subconscious mind before I sleep!) ;)!
