Nothing Better than a MORNING SWIM!!! Wooohoo!!!

OMG !!! Thank You all so much for your SWEET COMMENTS and Support!!! I am so excited to finally be able to post some pics...and I'm SUPER EXCITED to see you all notice a difference!!!!! Makes it worth the fight ya know!!

So last night, me and my bf went to a nice restaurant and I had a HUGE yummy salad!!! It was delicious and he had a Vegetarian Baked potato!!
...It's so funny to see him still wanting to be a vegetarian and even embarking on "my new Raw Eating life"!!! Go figure ..who woulda thought! It definitely helps though, and it's good for him too!! He's probably doing a 50 % Raw and 50 % vegetarian...on most days!! lol..cause he'll allow for the cheese and yesterday I saw he switched the Soy Milk back to his regular milk ...LOL.... His cravings for hamburgers are getting ridiculous and Commercials have him like a ZOMBIE!!! :biggrinjester:

Exercise yesterday: didn't quite pan out the way I wanted... but I still got
25 mins. of Yoga in


Exercise Today: ....So I DID IT!!! I got up @ 5:40 am, and I got dressed and headed out to the Outdoor Pool @ Bally's Gym and Swam for 35 mins-Laps! 20 mins of Hot Yoga in Sauna -total of 45 mins in Sauna!!!

I timed the average lap, and it was about 26-28 seconds per lap! Not bad...! I was definitely huffing and puffing...woooa...I used to swim like 10 years ago....haha...but WHO KNEW swimming was gonna wear me out....!!! I loved it!!! It was great!!

...though my worst fear did come true about swimming!!


...Last night, I was so anxious to go swimming already I woke up at 3 am, and I couldn't go back to sleep, and I started thinking about how windy it is so early and how the pool is outdoors and Man how that is really really early to be swimming.:puke:..haha, and how cold it's gonna be super cold and bRRrrrr.....!!!! So I go to sleep, get over it, and this morning look for my swimsuit and of course...couldn't find it :toetap05:, even though I just tried it on last week!! ....So I was left to opt for one that fits a tad bit big all over!!

It wouldn't have been that bad if while I was swimming the stupid thing didn't keep riding up my ass and making it a THONG!!! hahah!!! :blush5:....and to TOP IT OFF...I have no Idea how I got a bruise the size of a plum on one of my cheeks , which was completely visible to everyone!!! ....embarrassing!! And then....hahah....while I'm doing laps, I notice that there is this little old nice looking Asian Man doing laps as well, two lanes down. Everything was normal, a nice smile from him and the others and I kept doing my laps,....right.....but wait...then as I'm coming back from one of the laps....I look at this Little Nice Asian Man look that he had on his face BEFORE turned into a PERVERTED LITTLE HORNY ASIAN MAN LOOK with a HUGEEEEE SMILE GRIN...... and I wonder "what the hell he is smiling so hard at...and I finish my lap and touch my chest and OMG.....I was flashing him my LEFT TIT!!! haha :smilielol5:!!!

....so after all that mumbo jumbo, I tied a knot at the neck and I fixed that and let that stupid shit ride up my butt and I DIDN'T LET IT KILL MY WORKOUT!!! ....at the end of story I loved it!!! 3 times a week sounds good to me!!! Regardless, I'm proud of myself for doing it!

Breakfast today: Raw Food Juice Shake
-Organic Almond Milk
-One Pear (I try to buy them all organic, but its hard!)
- 1/2 banana
- 3 strawberries
- Cinnamon, Tablespoon of Syrup Agave-Organic
- 2 celery stalks


Snack Today: Dehydrated Flax Crackers w/ Tabouli Spread
Dehydrated 105 ^ degrees & less-Raw Flax Sunflower Seed Crackers- w/ Raw Tabouli Mix ---(about 2 palm sized crackers and 4 tablespoons of tabouli mix ontop)

Lunch Today: Open Faced Falafel Collard Green Spread Wrap
1 huge Fresh Collard Green Leaf
1 handful of Fresh Broccoli Sprouts
1/2 - 3/4 cup of Raw Falafel Spread
1/2 tomato


SPREAD Ingredients:
(blended) OMG...sooo good! :drool5:!!
sprouted chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
sprouted sunflower seeds
minced garlic
fresh cilantro, chopped
tahini
Nama Shoyu or 1 Tbl Celtic sea salt
fresh parsley
chopped onion
fresh-squeezed lemon juice
olive oil
Curry Chutney
cumin



Dinner Today: Raw Alfredo Fettuccini

(6:00om) 1 zucchini (sliced thin like spaggetti)
1 cup of Kelp Sea Weed Noodles (hmmmm)
(mix them both together and BAM...RAW fettuccini top with Sacue)

Alfredo Sauce:
1 1/2 cup macadamia nuts (soaked overnight)
1/8 c walnuts (soaked overnight)
1/4 cup cold pressed, first pressed olive oil
2 tsp Celtic sea salt
3 small cloves garlic
2 tsp fresh ground pepper
water for sauce consistency...(blended) SOOOOO GOOD!!!

Snack: Raw Eating Class tonight---Hmmm...wonder what we are making tonight!!! Can't wait!! i loveeeee it!! :drool5:

...oh and the Falafel Spread...I used to make Falafels last night...they have been dehydrating for like 12 hours now...haha...@ less than 105 ^!!! They should be tasty tomorrow!! Woohoo!!! I've been thinking about these Falafels for days now!! hahah...that's the RAW world for ya!!! makes you really APPRECIATE what you put into your body!

I thought this was AMAZING!!! ....it's so very very TRUE!!! :iagree: I find that on a daily basis it really helps me to meditate on Positivity, because throughout the day there are so many things that try to alter one's positivity, and repeating positive affirmations to myself helps me Believe that I am Wonderful and Great things HAPPEN TO ME ALL THE TIME!!! ! And I have now made it a daily ritual to Spring out of Bed, and Catapult into a quick 10 min. Yoga Stretch Meditation as a wake up REFRESHED and FOCUSED and HAPPY start up to my day as well!!

Raw Eating Class last night was AMAZING!!! :drool5: We learned about "Fermentation" and "Super Foods" Last night!!! We had another Chef come into class who talked and showed us all about the Body & Ecology and the micro organisms in the intestines, and how certain foods cause certain reactions and healing benefits, and the actually portion sizes and combination of the benefits of ingesting a daily portion of fermented foods for a "natural healing"!

["Superfoods" contain an extraordinary amount of nutrition and are usually lower in calorie, high in nutritional value, and have added health benefits. This category of foods have been credited and studied for their various positive effects on many health related issues such as lowered cholesterol, fighting cancer, lifting mood, mental clarity, and optimizing the bodies natural immune system. "

Some of the "Super Foods" we learned about how to incorporate included:

Acai, algae, Allium Flamily, Avocado, Barley, Beans and Lentils, Bee Pollen, Blueberries, Buckwheat, Cacao, Cayenne and other Hot peppers, Chia, Coconut Oil, Fermented Foods (like yogurts and kefirs and sauerkrauts, specially fermented), Ginger, Gogi Berries, Greens, Hemp Seed, Honey, Lacuma, Maca, Macha Green Tea, Mulberries, Mushrooms, Noni, Nuts and Seeds, Papaya, Quinoa, Rooibos, Seaweed, Sprouts, Tumeric, Wheatgrass, etc....

Foods we made and tasted:
-Classic Hippocrates Rejuvelac (drink) eh...not very good...kinda weird.
-Coconut Kefir- alright-(drink) alright...kinda like a cocktail...bubbles
-Seed/Nut Cheese (bomb!)
-Cheese Roll wrapped in Nuts (out of this world)!
-Coconut Yogurt ( AMAZING!!!!)
-Basic Sauerkraut ( DELICIOUS!)
-Seaweed and Cucumber Salad (CAN'T BELIEVE how GOOOOD it is!! )
-Martian Bar-like a fudge brownie!!! hmmmm (FUCK'N GIMME THE WHOLE SHIT!!!))!!! Hmmm....


...most of these foods were fermented and TASTED SO GOOD! I still have a lot of research to do on these....A LOT!!! There is a book I'm thinking of getting on the Body Ecology Diet....Interesting...hmm....

Breakfast today: Raw Oatmeal
- 4 hrs + Soaked Buckwheat Oaks -Gluten Free
- 1/2 cup of Almond Milk 1/2 cup Water, Cinnamon,
- 1/2 banana - (blend it all) w/ Agave
- Top w/ 2 thin sliced Fresh Strawberries...Hmmmm!!!

2 Small Small Falafels (yay!! They are finally ready..lol)

Snack Today: Dehydrated Flax Sunflower Seed Cracker
w/ Fresh Falafel Spread topped w/ 3 tablespoons
Tabouli

Lunch: Collard Green Leap w/ Falafel Spread, Brocolli Sprouts, and 4 Falafels w/ tomato

Snack: Orange w/ one cup of Raw Oatmeal

Dinner: ????

Exercise tonight: Salsa Class 8pm- 11 pm w/ this nice chick that I met a week or two back!! Woohoooo!!!

OH yeah...the bf....does 50 % Raw now and the rest 50 % Vegetarian..(dinner and bkfst..and basically when I'm around him...he's RAW :D! )...and it does help that he is so willing to try it all!! I love that about him!!

....he lets me control the ship of our health....(even though i may not be the best Captain...but shit.....we didn't have a Captain before...so I took the reins...:D)!!!

..and about the Raw eating...I FEEL BETTER THAN I HAVE IN MY WHOLE LIFE!...now what scarres me is COOKED and HEATED and PROCESSED food!...go figure!.....

I zipped up a size 2, no muffin top!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't beleive it.... !!!!!!!!!!! :eek2: I'm melllllllllllllting !!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek: and FAST!!!!!!!

I ate shit like a drunk ass this weekend...(I know, alcohol...it's not RAW :D )...but like I said, a little shot here and there makes a GIRL VERY VERY HAPPY , so yeah.....:biggrinjester:

...I went to Salsa Class with this chick Mindy I met through a site called meetup.com and OMG...we had such a blast!!! She was great!! The class was funny...I'm not that bad...must be all those years of watching my mom shake her ass...hahah :D:

...but yeah..we decided that after class we were going to go to a bar down the street,..and OH man..it was so much fun!! Mindy was great..turns out her birthday is Dec. 19 and mine is Dec. 12...so we clicked and I felt like I knew her for years already! ....and we chopped it up with the whole freakin bar...made a million friends...and got a million drinks it felt like...(probably more like 4 and I was drunk..haha...it's the Raw I tell you)...hhahha

..so yeah..I know I shouldn't have drove but I did...and I made it...thank God!...and I call my bf on the way home..and it's like about 2:15 am so he said he wanted some Fries...so i go through a drive through and get them...and go home. All was fine and dandy...up until the 3 little baby steps to get to the door.:toetap05:...hahah....where I managed to eat shit and land on my hands and knees.:svengo:.and scrape both ...the funny part was the fries fell all over the floor....hahah....I picked them up one by one !.... :drool5:

....and then like a drunk ass...yup, I decided to munch on a few...more like a HANDFUL.....:banghead::blush5:......I'm not tripping though....LIFE GOES ON! hahah....

....who woulda thought huh....go from eating "Raw" to eating from the "Floor"!...hahahah (good one ALTA! ! )! :dupe:

....the next morning though..my body IMMEDIATELY catapulted those fries out of my body!! ! No room for nastiness in here!!! My body is loving the Raw I see....and feel>!!! ! Woohoo!! Overall...good weekend....went to Asian karakoe spot last night too!! Super fun!! You get your own sound proof room...so you can scream your lungs off and no one has to hear your shit...other than those that came with you to hear your shit!...hahah...:biggrinjester:
 
Congrats on the new size 2! I love to salsa, that is my favorite music and dance but I think we do it a lot different in NYC than anywhere else (called breaking on 2).. TTY on FB :).
