Couch POTATO to "MARATHON" HONEY! :)

So this is how the story goes.....

....I ate and ate and ate some more.....ALL OF DECEMBER ..... & thennnn, I ATE SOME MORE......I decided that DECEMBER was about chillin, and YUP, that's what I did,....CHILL...eat & drink...and REPEAT IT as many times as I could! :iamwithstupid:..... Great GOALS ALTA....PSH!!!!!!!!

So yeah....I WASSSSS at 153-154.....before all that mix happened...and with my NERD miscalculations in addition last Monday...I find out TODAY...that I had added wrong and I was really at 166 lbs :eek2: this past week when I weighed in for the Challenge!....WTF WAS I THINKING ALL OF DECEMBER?!?!?!:rant:

...it's funny how eassssssy it is to HAM it up:ack2:....and drink it up and loose control of the situation at hand .....I fell off the wagon for TOO long and HARD too, and now I'm paying for it....:(.......

...this MORNING though....on the BRIGHTER side....after I realized that noooo, I didn't GAIN...you just can't add dum dum....I LOST 4 lbs this past week!!! :party:....which NOW...puts me at 162.....

..the truth,...yeah I was down for a minute....cause it's so annoying....last week was SHOCK enough...and then this MORNING...UGHHHHH.....this is one of the main reasons I don't like scales...cause they FUC*&&^& with your mind.....You think you are doing good, and you get beat up at the scale, and then I see the positive of the scale as well...MOTIVATION to get back on track....but stillllllll.....KEEP THAT SHIT away from me.....:smilielol5:....!!

..another thing...this morning as I was looking in the mirror trying to figure this whole lbs miscalculation thing out ....I saw a picture of me when I was in high school.....ninth grade....and it really put it into perspective for me.....cause in the picture I was about the SAME weight :eek: I am right now, which is not a good thing either, cause it's not my lowest....but it made me REALIZE that...MAN...i've really let this weight annoy me for MY WHOLE LIFE....:confused:.....WHY!!?! It's so ridiculous and I want to look and feel my best....and FOR ONCE....I really felt like FUC&*(&%)(&#%) THAT......I'm DONE with this shit being a YO YO.....I AM DOING THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!!! :cheers2:.....my whole life has been a "BEFORE" picture....and now, I'm ready to see the "AFTER"!!!! I feel like my life has come full circle and THE SAME SHIT is going on & that's whack.....fitness wise of course.....and I am truly INSPIRED right now to change!

I hope this feeling stays....!!!
 
Alta, you darling, we ALL wish you the best of inspiration to stay on track and drink your gallons of green tea (LOL) and eat well and to deficit--so you can get where you want to be :grouphug: I ate way too much this Xmas too, but didn't gain much I think, because I was doing so much YOGA LOL!!! :smilielol5: However, I'm certain a lot of that weight is water weight and excess glycogen stores--I mean, 8 pounds gained in a month? NOT LIKELY! GO TEAM TITS!!! :grouphug:
 
So I had the BEST conversation yesterday with my bf on the phone...and I was telling him how inspired I am to change...and all the little steps to do it that are easy to do and so easy not to do...but that I was doing them! And all the things that i've realized as of lately, that have to be changed and what not...

It was so sweet when he told me, that I actually INSPIRE HIM :eek2: to want to be a better person fitness wise as well! He said that he loves how when I focus I can do anything and FAST and that it makes him want to get off his ass to go do more! :beating:...He said that he wanted to start taking our weekly LONG hikes in the mountains which I love and adore again, with Otis his dog :D:!!! He ALSO thought that my analogy of "WHY" I am addicted to drinking liquids was very interesting and said that he wanted to find one to limit his "Smoking" :sifone:, as he feels that its holding him back from being more active! He also said that TOGETHER we should work hard to get amazing bodies!

...I guess the reason as to why I'm so touched, is cause he doesn't usually tell me about his inhibitions about himself, and through little comments like that is the only way I really know there are things about himself he wants to change or that kinda bother him. Overall ...he is a really confident person, which is very sexy to me....

...For a while, I would talk about my inhibitions about myself WITH him...but I realized that it was taking away from my SEXY factor, cause it just sounded like I was an INSECURE biatch...;) which I'm NOT!!! :blush5: (at least to the rest of the world...but to you guys ...:blush5: yeah sometimes, but I have to release these insecurities somewhere...) SO yeah....I think now that he sees me TAKE ACTION, APPRECIATE MYSELF, CONGRATULATE MYSELF, NOT TALK ABOUT MY WEAKNESSES OR INHIBITIONS, AND JUST PLAIN DO IT....he is inspired and WAY MORE ATTRACTED TO ME!!! :biggrinjester:

...it's kinda like when a person has a pimple on their face,....to THEM...it's the size of Mt. Everest, but to the common individual it's unnoticeable....UNTIL you point it out, and THEN all of a sudden we can't STOP STARING :eek: and we realize MAN...it is pretty BIG HUH!?!?! LOL

...I stopped that...fuc*^%(*# drawing people's attention to my negatives...SHIT....all that does, is ask for a PITY PARTY....:dupe: and make yourself feel worse about yourself. I believe it....don't display it, don't talk about it, and you within yourself will feel the change ....!!!
 
MORE LITTLE THINGS...mean MORE HUGE THINGS!!!

Today is ALSO....DAY 2 of NO DRINKING!! I'm really excited, about this part of my life as well, because when I am able to control my life in arenas that create challenges for me, it shows me HOW STRONG I CAN BE :D:!!!

...I think sometimes we forget that, when we don't push ourselves to our limits.

FOOD: Eating has definitely been good & low carb! I hope to see more results now that the alcohol is being thrown out of the picture...I've been drinking A LOT of water & tea lately...A PLUS!!! :D:

Exercise: Well for the past 2 days, I've been kinda lazy....but today, I'm gonna nip it in the butt....and go do stairs right now! I am overall trying to incorporate variety into my work outs, and DO MORE of DAILY little actions...

example of baby goals....(that accumulate to a lot if added throughout the week):


--Drink MORE WATER --so that I could go to the BATHROOM more-15 squats per bathroom usage--( usually I go about 7 times a day-1,125 squats=week)
--Shower- 15 leg lifts on each side (105 extra lifts on each side weekly)
--TV watching---instead of sitting...HOOLA HOOP 5lbs--at least 1 hour a week--
--Cooking--BUTT FLEXES :D:....(at least 1 hour weekly together) Buns baby!
--Driving--DEEP BREATHING & STOMACH tightening at the end of each deep breath--(5 hours weekly)

---in addition to all other types of exercises----but THAT's HOW I did it before....ALL THE LITTLE THINGS added up, and 8 months LATER---BAM 50lbs was GONE!!! And habits were started.....NOW I need to get back to doing them, and I'm STRAIGHT!!!!
...ALL THE LITTLE SMALL THINGS, ADD UP TO HUGE STRIDES!!!

I'm excited we are doing the challenge and nixing the booze. I can't even fathom what is going to happen when we get down to our goal weight. I mean now a little pounds heavier we have to beat the men off w/a stick. What will happen when we are even hotter? Meow!!

So far....I've done today....35 mins of Stairs ---huffing and puffin...:biggrinjester: and 5 mins of stretching....OFF TO GO DO MORE.....
 
Well done!

After my run today I will have accomplished my goal of running 3 times a week... for the first time this year! Yay :D
