Couch POTATO to "MARATHON" HONEY! :)

Well to catch up......food has been good, I did decide to have a drink on Friday....it was my really good friend's birthday party. I did contain myself, not drunk or even tipsy! I broke the 25 day streak!!! :coolgleamA: I see I do have WILL POWER dammit!

Total Drinks for 2 days : 3 shots & 3 beers

Exercise Thursday: 4.5 mile run @ the Park
25 min. Jillian Video- Level 3 -30 day shred-10lbs weights
Gym w/ Alane83- circuit training w/ weights
5 min Sauna--til the LADY FARTED :ack2: had to get out!

Exercise Friday: Jillian Michaels Total Body Shred Lev 1-25 min. 10lbs weights
Windsor Pilates w/ the Ball -20 min. video
Hoola hoop-5 min. 5/lbs

Exercise Saturday: 5k race "Bark for the Cure"-33 mins. :ack2:..I really need to speed up here!!!! I had a blast though!!!
--also 2 mile walk with the dog

Exercise Sunday : 2.25 mile walk w/ dog
Jillian Michaels -Full Maximize Frontal video w/ 10lbs-25 min
Jillian Michaels- Cardio Kick Box-25 min video
5 minutes o 5lbs Hoola Hoop

I am back on the NO DRINKING!!!! :sifone: It's kinda easy now.....I just decided that out of the month, I CAN HAVE and not feel guilty about ONE EVENT, one WEEKEND, of leisure, and portioned drinks! CONTROL!!! :coolgleamA: I have been logging everything into fitday.....15 days straight now!!!

YUP ACCOUNTABILITY!!! THAT's THE NEW ME!!!! DOING THIS!!!!:smash:

...also I had such a good time at the Race....I want to run more of them!!!!

We're all proud of you :D I got tipsy off my sparkling wine after the halfer, but I was absolutely aiming for that :biggrinjester: Like you, I'm going to avoid binge drinking "from now on" or aiming for that! I'm too old for binge-drinking, I decided ;) Plus, it screws with my training, and I figure, hell, if i want to go the distance, I better damn well take care of this body, right???

I had a beer with lunch :D It was good! Organic brown ale :)

Yesssssss....I'm excited for you!!! My bf was supposed to go with me, but he fell asleep late doing his "stock" stuff....so he couldn't go with me! :( I decided to not let myself down via other people....and I went BY MYSELF!!! :beating: I loved it! I made friends...and I met a whole group of people who were "5k HOPPERS"!!! FUNNY HUH!!! One guy had already ran "54" 5k races that year, and the other guy had ran "25" of them! :eek: DAMMMN!!! That's a lot of FREE STUFF & T-SHIRTS!!! I hope you have a great time...I'm gonna look for another one sooner than Dec.'s 1/2 Marathon too! You're gonna have a BLAST LADY!!!!

-20 min. Belly Dancing Video---(harder than it looks.....gotta get rid of some ass before this gets easier....:cuss:)
-5 min. Carmen Electra Strip Tease-LAME I TOOK IT OUT!!! :dupe:

Trying to keep the Intensity, and change the variety of the workouts...and It's been keeping me interested and consistent, and trying to keep the body guessing! :Angel_anim:...OH YES.....according to FITDAY.COM----its been 8 days straight of exercise & today will be 9!

I realized yesterday that I've come a LONG way personality-wise. Here's how and why: when I was young, I CRIED the first hour of the first 3 days of Kindergarten, because I was SCARED :cry: OMG....and I CRIED when my mom left me with babysitters :cry: And I never wanted to do anything alone, but as I got older I realized that sometimes you just don't have any company...so I suck it up and do things alone anyway! I almost NEVER have racing buddies or cheerleaders, and my ex didn't understand running, and wasn't considerate enough to support me because it was important to me, so YEAH I know what you mean! MAD PROPZ for going anyway!

Hi BeautifuL!!!!! I do know what you mean!....that's the truth of it though.....I realized that before not only did I want company, but I wanted everyone's approval or them being Proud of me or something like that! When I would continually let them down, and their approval never came, there I went.....self destruction to try and show them....to try and PUNISH THEM for not believing in me, supporting me, accompanying me....ALL OF THE ABOVE....

I realized that it was only meeeeeeeee, I was hurting, me that I was self inflicting pain on, me who I was withholding from my LIFE and my HAPPINESS!!!

I am no longer looking for anyone's approval, or applause, or companionship other than GOD! :beating:......This world is lonely, I realized, but I don't feel that way, when I remember where "I" came from......I realize for everyone of different beliefs, it may be different! The only thing I hope and pray for everyone is to FILL THAT EMPTINESS that comes sometimes when we are lost....with something that FILLS YOUR HEART WITH WARMTH, HOPE, and INSPIRATION!!!

...It was good being alone.....it did suck...but I don't need anyone, like you said! ;) We are strong enough to STAND ALONE & be HAPPY!!!!!!! Gotta LOVE IT!!! ;)
 
:D Yes, but sometimes my confidence wavers--exercise keeps me strong. Oh yeah, and this fabulous forum :beating: Talk about approval! GAWD! LOL! :grouphug:
hahahha......as you see, I'm STILL on here too!!! .....AND when I get quiet, It's cause my confidence has wavered too, little one! ;) :grouphug:......I'm not giving you guys up!!!
