Glad to hear your back on track again my dear. I know that a couple of days of being on track feels amazing. I had another poo babie shake last night and it was deelish. I like to put a small banana in mine, I think it helps dissapate and evenly distribute the psyllium husk throught the shake better.

I just shake 2 tsps of the psyllium husk up with water and down it... I'm lazy... blender needs two point plug adapter, heh...

bleh! I tried this once.. It wasn't super horrible in water, so I thought- lets add it to oatmeal. HAHAHA! What a joke! It turned my oatmeal to rubber!
I've just been adding flax to my protein shakes here and there. Pretty tasty :)
 
Poo baby shake for the 3rd night in a row for me ;)

I use a banana, some skim milk, protein, psyllium husk, and then a few ice cubes. I then mix it with a hand mixer, a blender is just too much work and clean up for me. The banana, imo, really mixes well with the psyllium and makes it very palatable.

Okay so I guess I need to be filled in on this whole POO BABY shake deal... does it clean you out? Or are you just using it as a meal replacement? And what all is in it??
 
Hmmm... I would try the poo baby shakes while I'm laid up... but I probably don't want to make any unnecessary bathroom trips while I'm in that much pain huh? I'm going to do them all next week to get ready for the surgery... Alta, refresh my memory... poo baby shakes and what else do I eat for the day?

Snacks.....almonds.....Chicken tenders, fruit, vegetables.....all of the above...!! :)
 
I feel nauseas from all the poo baby talk. LOL I have yet to see a poo baby nor do I ever want to see something nasty like that come out of my beautiful bootie! hahaha :ack2:

WARNING!! I took 2 tbs my first time and didn't poo for 6 days! I gained 7 lbs... It was not fun at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So make sure u use just a little bit the first few times lol
 
Ye, I've been trying it the last month maybe 4 times a week, 2 tsps worth... I find it makes me more constipated??

It definitely can't replace fibre from food! :)

ONE tablespoon is GOOD, and drink it FASSSST or it'll clump you, and like CHISTENHERE said, if you aren't used to the FIBER that way, it can CLUMP YOU up.....

....it happened to me too....but after the "CLUMP SLUMP"...LOL...:smilielol5: then, is when
the "BABIES" happened....LMAO.....eeeooowwww.......but YUP.....I have a LOT of them...!!!

...they aren't as bad as a lot of the pictures on the internet that you can google for like COLONIC CLEANSED things that come outta ya...LOL;)...but at LEAST MINE aren't.....:)

...the way I THINK about it...is...if these things that come out of you DO LOOK like the pictures on the internet sites....then I WANT IT OUT AND NOW!!!!!!....:eek:

....so YEAH...they don't have that many calories= 180-250, and as meal replacements, depending on the level of workout I'm going TO DO...thennnnnn, I will SOMETIMES double scoop the soy protein powder......you can use WHEY, you can use a ton of them.....

....the PSYLLIUM SEEDS gives the babies.....I used to put milk...but with MILK I NEVER saw babies:(........unless I am avoiding the salt and sugar or something, I generally put....


FRUIT assortment....generally blueberries, raspberries, black berries.....

Soy Protein Powder..................I LOVE EM..........and TONSSSS OF WATER!!! DON'T GET CLOGGED!!!

....when I am avoiding the SUGAR....I use a Tablespoon of FOLGERS COFFEE to offset the taste...of FIBER and SOY PROTEIN POWDER...as without it LIFE IS BLAND!!! LOL

...bland BUT YESSSSSS CLEAN!!! :smilielol5:.......lettme KNOW when YOU START dropping children of at the POOL!!!! LMAOOOOO!!!!
