Oh Alta! Your run sounds like something that would have BROKE me. But someday I hope to be at your level. I love WLF right now, because everyone I look in on seems to have their mojo. lol. Keep it up Alta!
 


1-Sunday:
17 mile run HUGE HILL-3.5 hour run in Pacific Palisades National Forest Trail Run!

Nice work! This weekend was a pain for many runners that are training for early October marathons. It's the longest run before the race. The training mileage tapers down from now on...which is a great feeling!

I ran 20 on Sat. in a hilly forest with my running partner...we were so dead afterward that we laid on the ground near my car and didn't move for a long time (probably because we couldn't) :)

That's weird because I was thinking the same thing. July and August seemed to be really lousy months for so many members here. But so far September has been kind to so many of us who struggled the prior two months. At least with our weight loss and finess goals that is. Alta has been kicking ass lately.

Hey Girl!!!..Woa, yes you can run...I swear!!...Last night as I was doing sprints up this hill, I was remembering CLEARLY the first day I started running like it was yesterday and I couldn't even complete 1/4 of a block!! :iagree:!!!

....Once you start and you break your first little barrier it feels IMPRESSIVE!! :D!

...i'm rooting for you! :party:!!! I wanna hear about your first run!! ;)

...and the movie OBSESSED was pretty good overall!!..I like Beyonce, but really, she isn't that good of an actor. I LOVE THE FIGHTING SCENE at the end though!!...REALLY GOOD!!!...I was kind of on the edge of my bike...like WHOA :eek2: ...No she didn't!!! :smilielol5:!

OMG!!!...I hear you!!!!...I think this weekend I'm gonna throw in a 20 miler..and just do it too...since I have til OCT. 11 and I really need the confidence. I assume that on race day, the crowd and the cheering and all the little old people SMOKING MY ASS..will motivate me and keep me going to the end!! :iagree:...I hope!! hahah ;)!

...no It will!! :D! :reddevil:..and I will most likely be laying on the floor too...crawling..hahah!!!...I sure as hell splatter on the floor everytime I'm done! PLOP & i'm down!! hahah!!

...I think you said that you have a Marathon on the same day!?!?! GOOD LUCK & lots of STRECHING!!!....How long is it taking you to do the 20 miles? ..I'm a slow runner, but I like my pace because it allows me HAPPINESS...yet I'm still trying to improve it of course! :D!

Girl, that run almost BROKE me too!! hahaha!!!...It is amazing that everyone has their shit going on right now huh!!!?!?!!...I love how amazing it is that everyone is Whipping OUTtheir new found their MOJOs ;) and knocking the dust of that PUPPY!!! hahaha :D!!!


...Now all we need to do is ...PUMP THEM BABYYYYYYYY!!! :party:!!...I'm gonna go check on you and your MOJO soon here too!!!...:iagree:....!!!

Hey LOVE!!!!:beating:! I know...i've been over here on this side more cause sometimes I'm more stuck on weight loss than on fitness training...but hey..whatever works right! ;) I miss you though...so I had to jump in quick and tell you so!!!

holy running!!! props to you!!! i hope i can get there some day. i'm getting better... i mean i started out where i could barley run a mile... hah! you rock! keep up the good work :) :)

2-Monday- 1 hour bike ride @ home on Stationary Bike (while watching Obsessed) & cleaned the house & 1 mile walk after dinner with my love!

3-Tuesday-35 min. 3.5 miles hill repeat Sprints! 10 intervals of super fast sprints and walk- slight hills. & 10 mins of Dance Yoga moves @ 11:20 pm after my run-Nice Core Work!

4- Wednesday- 30 mins. of Hardcore Naked Dance working out- Including Yoga moves, squats, salsa, belly dancing and straight up getting jiggy with it!...SUPER SWEATY and SORE!

5- Thursday-(SUPER SORE) NONE--super busy-got home @ 2 am. Big Wangs.

6-Friday-
--STILL SORE AS HELL!--plan some type of exercise
Alright!!!...Come on ALTA!!!...Let's work today...and Saturday and Sunday!!!...WOOT WOOT! You can do it girl...I'm rooting for yoU! :party:!

Nov-Mar it's hard to run up where I am, unless you enjoy running in a parka and snow boots. :)
 
I feel fatter than fat! Save me dear Lord!!! :(....I quit drinking. Today is Day one!...:( Why must I put myself in such situations in which I hate myself and eat and drink and to see FAT pics of you posted up either is not the best feeling either which leads to more self sabotage because I feel like nothing is happening!!!..:puke:! Downward Spiral. Hope to save myself today! If I show you all the pics...you'd see why I was so depressed ...:cry: I need to lose these 35 lbs. HELP!!! :cry:!!!

10-Tuesday- 30 mins of 5lb weights moving in the air and doing non stop different sets, while doing side stepper (kinda like stair master just home version and no handles)-sweaty while on lunch.--plan to do like an 8 mile run tonight.

Wow!!! :eek2: I had the craziest venting dreams this morning from yesterday's session with my new hypnotherapist & mentor now!!:iagree:!!...I absolutely ADORE HER!!! :beating:!

....We worked on accomplishing things and follow through and came to a lot of realizations that have made the best perspective in my life today in regards to why I always seem to allow self sabotage!.:smash:..Our base of associations of "knowns" as we call them are learned from the ages of 0-8. For me I hadn't realized how much I was still holding onto from the past. It was deep!:lurk5:

...We as well set up suggestions for my subconscious in which I will vent all unecessary negativity through my dreams (generally the ones that you remeber when you wake up...the last ones) that people have placed in there as known associations and or thoughts and worries in which I was suggestible to learning from others, that is prohibitting my success and happiness...& let me tell you....IT WORKS!!...my dreams this morning left me in tears :cry:....

...I hadn't had some deep dreams like that for a minute now, and I'm super happy that now I understand the reasons for which are behind a lot of them. MOST OF THE TIME...none are to be taken literally...and all of them vary in meaning because we have all had different childhoods in which we associated different meanings to different situations and or objects, so we have different "knowns" in which we base our morals and our learnings on.....so it's definitely nothing a Dream Book could analyze, because the dream book doesn't know about the most important detail.....YOU!

....Michelle (that's her name) ...she gave me this book to borrow and said that I must read it...I started last night...and RIGHT AWAY the book touched my heart strings....... ...it's called ...WHEN FOOD IS LOVE: Exploring the relationship between eating and intimacy[/...as well...we get a recording of the session, so we can listen to the positive suggestions that reach your own subconscious mind to listen to and review throughout the week until some new ones next!! !! :Angel_anim:

....Moving on....: Since accomplishing my marathon is the first thing BIG that is coming up NEXT, I decided to begin my follow through ...THERE!

Exercise:

.....During my lunch break yestereday @ work...I went home and exercised with 5lb weights and the baby portable stair master and hit it hard for 30 mins! :coolgleamA:.....then after class last night...I got out and went home and at 11:00pm threw on my running shoes....and went for a foot motored ride :auto: with the dog..for a quick 5 miles, with Sprint Intervals the last 3/4 of mile!....Otis was DYING,.....hahah :ack2:

.....I went to shop at Trader Joes and I bought healthy snacks and will be eating them..(this is what I brought for the first half of today):

Bkfst: 4 oz. of Black coffee
3/4 cup of Flaxseed Cereal, a pinch of dry oatmeal, dried cranberries
1 cup of Almond Milk

Snack: 1 string cheese
10 baked soy chips --that look like green beans..cause they are. haha


Snack: 1/2 cup of Nonfat Cottage Cheese
Shredded Coconut, Dried Cranberries -to mix in

...the rest unkown yet....gonna go home and cook for lunch.
