Okay.
First of all, let me explain that I am not at all bipolar or anything. I'm simply very self-critical.
My gym is open again, and I headed off to lift some stuff. Since it has been a while since I lifted anything, I started light on a bunch of these and ramped up.
Warmup - stretching and 5min treadmill
try Chinup - almost there, nose over the bar, and hung there for about 3 sec
try Pullup - up to eye level
Squats - 40lbs 1x5, 90lbs 1x5, 160lbs 5x5
Bench press - 40lbs 1x5, 90lbs 1x5, 120lbs 5x5
DB shoulder press 30lb DBs - 5x5
Inverted Rows - 1x7, 1x5, 1x4, 1x3, 1x4 - why are these getting harder?
Deadlift - 20lb body bar 1x5, 40lb bar 1x5, 110lbs 2x5, 160lbs 1x5 (weight was fine except that my right hand couldn't maintain the grip), 130lbs 2x5
Pullovers 40lbs 5x5
Wrist roll-ups 10lbs 1x5
Cooldown 13min on stationary bike
Let me just say that all of this felt awesome.
Clearly lifting stuff = happy Cord.
I will work very hard at being less whiny when I am having a suboptimal day.
