Here is my first entry to my online diary. I started the herbalife program a week ago. I do not have another weigh-in/measuring until Sunday. My first week I have lost 8 pounds and 8 1/2 inches. I am very excited about this new chapter in my life, but find myself looking for support & encouragement in any place I can find it.

Today was a fairly good day. I drank a gallon of water! yay!

Herbalife shake for breakfast (yum!)
3/4 of a banana - couldn't gag down anymore - with banana's either i love it or hate it - don't know why

Herbalife shake for lunch (yum!)

1 stick low fat string cheese

1/2 packet herbalife soynuts

supper - wasn't so great because i had a meeting that ran wayyyyy late.....
1 egg - fried (no oil) with a thin slice of swiss 2 slices of stone ground wheat bread

Walked 2 miles to the evening meeting, and one of the people there insisted on bringing me home, but while I was waiting for them I walked around the school building 2 times.


I am a happy girl and that matters more than a number on the scale! I am proud of my accomplishments in just the first week.
 
Ok....today...worked 6am-6pm at the Sheriff Dept.

Shake for breakfast
Apple

Shake for lunch
1/4 c peanuts

1 lowfat stringchz

3 slices - deli - smoked turkey breast
1/2 c. mashed potato

as of right now 70 ounces of water
 
Looking good! Don't be afraid to eat a little more; you'll keep your body from getting too hungry, and binging on food. Keep up the good work! :D

1/2 protein bar
1oz pepperoni & cheese (i know...BAD)

2-3 ounces of rotis. chicken
1 srv. of "steak fries"
1/2 a cucumber

only 70 ounces of water

Tried eating an apple this morning but it was too sour! :eek:

Oh yeah....youngest son had a bag of "kit kat bits or bites" or whatever the heck they are called and I had 2 of them.

I am feeling very FAT tonight. Like the almost 2 weeks have just piled back on for some reason. Depressed. Hubby not supportive AT ALL. I called him and asked him what he wanted for supper and he says.....buy stuff to make "my nachos" - which are....doritos, pizza sauce, shredded cheese, pepperoni, all layered then nuked...then add sour cream. I bought the rotis. chik and cukes instead!

Tomorrow morning is a weigh and measure for me and I am NOT looking forward to it. I know that the slower the weight comes off the better my odds are for keeping it off, but I like everyone else wants results now!

Spent the day shopping with my youngest son. We got school clothes, back packs, folders etc for him and his brother. So I did a ton of walking. The next week is going to be HARD.

Weigh and measure did not go well. :( Weight up 1 pound, and I haven't taken the time to do the math on the inches, but the only place I lost was in my boobs (and at 40E - its going to take ALOT of inches before thats noticeable! hehehehe) I'm slightly depressed, more still very determined. It annoys me that I spent most of last week hungry for no results. Anyways.....today is a new day.
 
Honestly mate don’t be afraid to eat just make low fat choices. Any diet that you feel hungry on wont work because your bound to end up binging because your poor tummy just cant stand it any more, it doesn’t mean you have failed it just means the diet has failed you. Try eating a few more low fat meals.
Well done with the exercise :D

1/2 kippered beef steak snack (low cal, low fat, high protein- YAY)
Ham stew - 1 cereal bowl
1 slice stone ground wheat & margarine

90 ounces of water.

Today

Worked 8-4 at the Sheriff Dept - BEYOND busy! We have 6 jail cells and at 1130 this morning I had 6 prisoners all come in to get booked at once! Booking a prisoner is A TON of paperwork. What a crazy day!

Menu for the day
2 shakes
1/2 cup sliced pear
1 oz beef jerky
1 lowfat string chz

1 cup 4 chz hamburger helper
1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese
1/2 cuke with vinegar

so far 64 ounces of water.

Spoke with my "sponsor/coach" (not couch roflmao!) and she asked what I did differently last week to gain a pound, and I told her that I ate less and that I was starving all the time. She said that was my problem. I should eat more low fat snacks. I told her I was working on that. I have gotten in the habit of measuring everything I eat in to what a real serving is. I am also reteaching my body what it means to be full. (ya know what I mean?)
 
Yup, I know what you mean!! I always find that just taking my time when I eat is one of the best ways I can make myself feel full. That, and drinking lots of water and stuffing myself with veggies.

Sounds like you're on the right track. ;)

Ok....here is todays food

shake

1 pork loin chop
1/2 c. mashed potato
1/2 c green beans
had 1 tbsp gravy on potato - jar said srv size was 1/4 c - 1/4 c of gravy!!! WOW 20 cal crazy!

1 lindt truffle

80 oz water

No exercise
 
hey there hon... don't forget your exercise for boot camp!!!! *kick in the bum*

great food choices though, and way to drink your water!!!!
