My mother just called to tell me that I'm in the local newspaper (on long island) for making the dean's list. We can't figure out how they know... I go to school in Boston... Its Bizzare!!

When I was in school, they used to report that to your local newspapers... my parents often knew I was on deans list before I did... which used to irk me because I paid for school, n ot them :)

What school do you go to? I did my college years outside of Boston :D I hated my school, but boston was a great college town..
 
I go to Northeastern University... Its just so weird because I've made the dean's list many times before and this time its in the newspaper... it gave us a good laugh:)

In the summer's it empties out a bit because a lot of the college students leave. I don't actually live in Boston... the whole college scene totally wasn't for me I was miserable living on campus.
 
Tufts University...

I moved off campus as a junior because I got really tired of the let's drink til be puke mentality of my fellow classmates.... having a drink is fine, getting drunk all the time is a problem..
 
I have a good friend who went to tufts .... he transferred to SUNY Binghamton so he could graduate in two years.

That was my problem ... it was just party party party party... I couldn't take it.. It drove me crazy!!!

I love my G.R. (Grandmother)

Got the gym done with for today. My body feels like it needs a break but I can't give it one. I don't want to miss one day. I did an hour of cardio today I went 3.12 miles on level 7 of the hills setting it goes from 0 incline to 5.8 incline and a bunch inbetween. Then I did abs:) I feel so worn down after it today. I don't kow why today is different than the others... its why i think my body needs a break.

Leave it to a grandmother to inflate your ego... I just spoke to her on the phone and she said " I have faith that everything you do is the right thing" LOL!!! She also told me that she hopes I stop going to school before I'm 65 because with all the classes and post grad degree tracks I want she thinks I'll never get done... but she has faith I'll be WONDERFUL. LOL
I'm glad I have my G.R. to believe in me because I don't really believe in me I just have things I want to do:)

Hey Jenna! You are doing awesome with your healthy lifestyle, keep it up gurl! If you feel like your body needs a break then you should give it one because you don't want your body to wear out on you and make it so that you wouldn't be able to exercise for a week or maybe more. Maybe a day or two off would do your body good? Just from friendly advice...Take care!
 
I know I should probably take a rest... I'm just on such a roll. I just don't want to feel what a day off feels like and then have it snowball into more than one day....

Maybe that line of thinking is just completely unreasonable?
 
Weigh in on Sunday... I'm kind of nervous because I have a feeling I hit a plateau at some point from the last time I weighed myself.
I have certainly gotten smaller (my cloths are bigger)... I did measure myself last time ... but I didn't do it correctly... so i don't think I can get accurate measurements to compare ... I'm gonna try... but i will measure correctly this time!!

I think Fat on my body has shifted ... is that weird... my belly has like I guess the best word to describe it is dropped down... is that supposed to happen?

Lunch today was a turkey and cheese sammich on whole wheat... I ended up not eating like half the bread.

Snack: peach

Dinner: My boyfriend got a promotion today so I told him to celebrate he could make me dinner. So first he brought me an appetizer ... sliced tomato with a small amount of crumbled feta cheese... and then he broiled tilapia and made fresh green peas... it was really yummy!

We are planning on going to IHOP tomorrow morning for breakfast... I was planning on getting the harvest grain n' nut pancakes... there made with grains, oats, almonds, and walnuts...

Would this be a bad thing? Like cheating?:confused:

Well today has not gone as planned. Its not so horrible just not as planned. We had planned to go see the new harry potter movie at 10am... and go get breakfast before. We woke up 45 minutes late. So we were just going to go to the next show at 10:40... and went to get breakfast. We went to IHOP got seated but no waitress came to our table or the one next to us. After 15 minutes we and the other table just got up... We couldn't figure it out like 4 waitresses came into the room and went to the tables around us... just not ours:confused: :confused:

So we went to an IHOP next to the movie theatre... went to the 11:45 movie (so much for getting an early start to the day)... and now we just got home... which means no gym:mad:

On a good note.... the movie was really good :) and... there was a reebok outlet next door and they were have a tent (clearance sale) so I got new sneakers for the gym so I don't have to wear my horrible falling apart ones.

This may be a blessing in disguise because yesterday I was saying how my body seems to need a break...

I did well at IHOP... I had a fruit bowl and one grain n' nut pancake with nothing on it (very yummy 2). Then I had some kashi tlc crackers... that's it so far today... food hasn't been to great huh?

For dinner tonight I had some grilled haddock with steamed broccoli and green beans with garlic (from legal seafoods) I was sooo tempted to get rice or a potato ...but I got the veggies instead... I felt good after for it too.

No Gym today... but I just spent an hour doing hardcore cleaning and once it cools down again I'm gonna do a bunch more.

My b/f has finally agreed to help me get this place clean and then keep it clean!!!

Cleaning is my last I don't give a shit about myself task that I have been putting off. A last link to my old lifestyle. I want to BANISH it!
 
I'm not hungry today... I don't know why ... when I try to eat I get naseous.

I had crackers for breakfast, for lunch I had peanut butter on a slice of whole wheat bread but only ate half of it and some carrotts

I don't know what's wrong with me today
