Colon Cleansing

Cleanses...Isagenix, Colonix, Oxy-Powder???

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has compared some of the various products out there for cleansing. I was originally looking at Colonix through Dr.Natura, but then I noticed alot of people on here talking about Isagenix. And then I also saw Oxy-Powder during web research. I am wondering what the differences are, because they all take different lengths of time. I liked the idea of not having to fast or do shakes with the Colonix, but I am wondering if it will give me as good of a cleanse. I did the spit test for Candida and it was positive, so I also like the fact that the Colonix comes with the parasite cleanse as well. But again, I want to go with whatever will give me the best results. Has anyone tried both or others? Also, does anyone know if cleansing affects medications you are taking in any way?...like decreasing or increasing potency.
Thanks in advance for any help!:)

Although I have never tried the other two, I can send you some info about Isagenix. I will PM you as to all the benefits of their cleanse. Hopefully you will get some feedback on the other two you are asking about.

Heed IsaMom's Advice.

Amndnoel,

Take IsaMom's advice regarding Isagenix very seriously. My physician
is thrilled by the results it delivered so quickly. In fact, Dr. Raju said
that in India, they use a combination of Cleanse and Rare Nutrients to
heal many conditions. I asked her why she didn't advise that I use
natural methods to get rid of my high BP, Gout, Cholesterol and the
excess weight? Her reply spoke volumes about our society.. She
said, "Because Americans want a quick fix for everthing. So I prescribe
the medicines." I went in for another blood test this morning. Can't
wait to see the results on March 16th. It feels so good being slimmer
and off the drugs! You'll have wonderful success with Isagenix too,
Amndnoel. My family and my clients are all benefiting immensely.

Best regards,

I'm curious about these type of products as well.
I only went to the Colonix website but I'm interested in this cleansing business.
I do have some uhm... odd questions about it though.

I'm just going to ask this strait how...what is a colon clense? I don't really understand how it works.

EWH! i was cringing when i saw those photos. lol

So what is this cleanse thing? is it available in the uk too?

But that just looks so discusting. Is that actually inside of you? I mean - if it is I'm all for it but I don't know if I could handle feeling that come out of me.. maybe when I'm older, I have no problems yet so hopefully it's not needed. How do you eat when you're on it.. that's just - wow. I don't know what to say. I'm so grossed out but yet, worried. Then grossed out all over again.

How were your results? I actually ordered a colon cleanse I saw on an infomercial but 3 days later was introduced to a different company, a total body cleanse, not just colon. I ended up returning the colon cleanse and going with the other system. Since there were so many people discovering better health and significant weightloss I opted for that one as it was all about removing toxins from your whole body. I ended up losing 8lbs and 13 inches the first 9 days and my husband lost 20lbs and 27 inches. We feel absolutely fantastic and even my 3 yr old has been using a whole food fruit product and is now very regular after being constipated since birth.

I think any type of cleanse is good for your body. I like the idea of cleansing on an ongoing basis which allows the body to really be the miracle that it is. To date my husband has lost 26lbs and 36 inches so far and has the motivation to continue, which is huge!

Bleck I couldn't do a colon cleansing. How old should you be to start one? I'm just a teen, so I don't feel that I need one yet...if at all. :S

You know what really cleanses and scrapes the digestive system clean, is fiber. You don't need to do anything extreme to get it. You eat naturally high fiber foods. Someone said something about feeling bloated, and I can relate from all the the cheeseburgers and pizza and all the crap I used to eat and just felt awful. As soon as I quit all that stuff, I felt 10X better!

hey gals

i just finished th dr natura cleanse. I thought it was good. I didn't have all that discusing stuff come out of me the the web site shows. I thing it all depends how have been eating and drinking. Its good!

good luck

There's a great whole body cleanse (including parasite cleanse) called notnice2toxins on safe2use.com. It's all natural ingredients. I tried it and my acne cleared up a little and my nubby nails grew.

Dr Natura, All The Way

I just finished up the Dr Natura program - drnatura.com

Out of control! Things came out of me that I never thought possible. It felt awesome, not only physically, but psychologically as well! Physically, I was hungrier but had waaaay more energy, and my mind was going nuts seeing all that nastiness being passed from my body.

I highly, HIGHLY recommend this. I've only tried the Dr. Natura plan, and I've heard of some that don't work worth the crap (no pun intended). Try it out... you'll be sooo glad you did.

Did you do the parasite cleanse too? Just wondering if you found any parasites. Not that you'd want to share or anything. lol

I started taking "two scoops" of Metamucil Smooth Fiber daily and noticed some 'colon plaque' had come out. It was shocking to see it.

There are at least two colon cleansing methods being advertised by dozens of manufacturers.

1. Powdered or liquid supplements irritate the colon wall, forcing it to slough off hardened mucous, which is eliminated through a series of bowel movements.

2. Colonic irrigation, also known as high colonics, works much like an enema by flushing large amounts of water through the colon to loosen and remove buildup.

does it hurt?
like y'know how when you get diarrhea? going to the washroom can well... your butt hurts.

secondly, where can i get these pills besides online? are they available over the counter at any pharmacy?

Trophology - The Science Of Food Combining

Are you mixing your animal proteins and your carbs/starch together during your meals?

"It is an established scientific fact in Western medicine that in order to initiate efficient digestion of any concentrated animal protein, the stomach must secrete pepsin. But it is also a well-known fact that pepsin can function only in a highly acidic medium, which must be maintained for several hours for complete digestion of proteins.

It is an equally well established fact of science that when we chew a piece of bread or potato or any other carbohydrate/starch, ptyalin and other alkaline juices are immediately secreted into the food by the saliva in the mouth. When swallowed, the alkalized starches require an alkaline medium in the stomach in order to complete digestion.

Anyone should be able to figure out what therefore happens when you ingest protein and starch together. Acid and alkaline juices are secreted simultaneously in response to the incoming protein and starch, promptly neutralizing one another and leaving a weak, watery solution in the stomach that digests neither protein or starch properly. Instead proteins putrefy and starches ferment owing to the constant presence of bacteria in the digestive tract.

This putrefaction and fermentation are the primary cause of all sorts of digestive stress, including gas, heartburn, cramps, bloating, constipation, foul stools, bleeding piles, colitis, and so forth.

Many so called 'allergies' are also the direct result of improper food combinations; the bloodstream picks up toxins from the putrefied, fermented mess as it passes slowly through the intestines, and these toxins in turn cause rashes, hives, headaches, nausea and other symptoms commonly branded as allergies. The same foods that cause allergic reactions when improperly combines often have no ill side-effects whatsoever when consumed according to the rules of trophology. The final fact of the matter is this: when you immobilize your stomach and impair digestive functions by consuming foods in indiscriminate combination, the bacteria in your alimentary canal have a field day. They get all the nutrients and thrive, while you get all the wastes and suffer.

According to a recent survey in America, the average American male today carries about 5 pounds of undigested, putrefied red meat in his gut. Leave 5 pounds of meat in a dark, warm, moist place for a few days and see for yourself the results of putrefaction. The severely septic condition of the human intestinal tract is unique in nature, yet Western physicians take it for granted and even insist that it is harmless to the rest of the system.

In fact, in order to protect itself from the chronic toxic irritation of improperly combined meals, the colon secretes large quantities of mucus to entrap toxic particles before they damage the colon's sensitive lining. When this occurs at every meal, everyday, every week, throughout the year- as is quite typical in modern Western diets- the colon ends up secreting a constant stream of mucus, which accumulates and gets impacted in the folds of the colon. This results in a narrowing of the passage through the colon and a constant seeping of toxins into the bloodstream by osmosis. When the impacting of toxic mucus in the colon reaches critical pressure, it causes a pocket to balloon outward through the colon lining, causing a condition called diverticulosis. Colitis, IBS, and colon cancer are the next stages of colon deterioration caused by these conditions."

Taking extra fiber shouldn't hurt at all. Feels like any other time you "drop a duce." Didn't hurt me at all.

You can just buy regular fiber supplements at any drug store, I'm sure. I use Metamucil, the smooth texture, orange flavor.

-OR-

You can also go to any health food store and locate the "colon cleanse" section and they should have all kinds of different cleanses to take. Most of the cleanse products are just fiber combined with other ingredients.

The main thing is just that you get the fiber going through you, it expands in the colon and gently cleanses it's way out. Just keep in mind that you have to eat less, or even fast while you do a colon cleanse, so that you don't hinder the cleanse. I would do a little reading on it. Just use Google and enter in "colon cleanse, or how to colon cleanse."

ah... okay. thanks MissJellyBelly.

I don't currently suffer from constipation or anything. I'm quite regular. But after looking at those pics and reading the testimonies... i'm beginning to wonder if THAT is in me NOW. and what if there ARE parasites like those other people on the website. *gulp* so maybe a colon cleanse would be a good idea then... O__O!!
