Yea bam! My watches are totally dropping off, need to take off at least 2 links, buuut as usual i procastinate ;)

My rings are getting a little too big too, gotta switch em to the bigger fingers. :D

Hey fornight, were you seeing your consultant yesterday, around 6.30 pm? I was in the next room with cheryl and i thought i might have seen you.

Babyegg, i agree with jayce, i think you should eat your crackers when you feel hungry, within allowance of course, rather than forcing yourself to cut them out. Might not have such a great effect if you do so.

Thanks everyone, you are life savers!!!

 I am very troubled.. will be travelling in oct to India for a week.. wonder how to sustain in the program... anyone has a suggestion?

Vegitables Types?

For those in Singapore, Australia I am interested in the list of vegitables you are allowed on the plan.

On my plan (which I think is based on the UK plan) vegitables are
Asparagus, Zucchini, Green Pepper, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Onion, Mushrooms, Sping Onions, Tomato, Celery, Spinach, Lettuce, Squash.

For those folks in Australia and Singapore are there any other vegitables particularly chinese vegitables allowed?

I don't wear a watch either, but my rings are getting really loose and tend to roll around on my finger. I'm just glad there aren't anymore ring marks which I used to get when it was too tight
Fornight: Glad you're on the normal programme now. You've like stuck to your interim plan 200% and I'm so happy for you!

anyway, Singapore boys and girls...could we plan another meet up session? The last one kinda fizzled out. Sassysapphire...if it ends up just being you and me only again, I'm still game to meet up....

Spoke to someone from the Centre yesterday cuz my consultant wasn't around. He told me I might be able to order my re-feed end of next week!!! I am so looking forward to it....Promise to be really good until then

So So Bad

Hi all, I am so annoyed with myself, I have just eaten about two dozen hot chips and now feel like crap. I have been home from work for three days now with the flu and migraines - I'm sure this has nothing to do with Cohens, just been working too hard lately and felt a bit run down. Anyay, so my husband bought the chips home so I sat and ate them with him.
I have been so good for the last two and a half weeks and have now just ruined it.
I can't say I didn't enjoy the chips at the time but feel really YUCK now. Maybe I'll skip my dinner tonight or just have some yoghurt to try and offset the fat and carbs that I have just consumed.

Does anyone else have problems with going to the toilet. I have been once in three weeks and am having Metamucil everyday, I'm starting to get very concerned with this and was wondering if any of you have been through this?

Thanks for listening.:(

Reload, congrats on the possibility of getting your refeed! The sheer idea is enormous! Yea, i don't mind just the two of us, :D, the rest can join us if they have the time.

A big welcome to Storm & Ver.. Could you let us know your email add to add you both to our mailing list? So that you can be informed of when we're planning to meet and so on. :D Storm, i'm guessing you're indian eh. Well one thing good there is that everything is just so fresh there! Just make sure you pack along your travel scales, your olive oil (don't think it's readily available there) & a supply of crackers, and i think you're good to go! But that's of course assuming you're staying at a place with cooking facilities.

HI Princessoz

sorry to hear about the chips, but whatever you do, don't skip dinner. If you don't have protein in your system you won't be burning the fat off. You're idea of some yoghurt is good.

I can't help with your toilet problems sorry, but I hope your migraines and flu passes soon.

Take Care
slinkee

Ticker Update!

Princessoz Hey I've had the same *toilet problems* I have tried a few things the best I've found is a herbal slimmers tea found at the health food shop. I usually take it at night and wake up needing to go. The longer you leave the tea soaking the better! Hope it works for you:) Having that problem can slow the weightloss down I've found.

Just thought I'd update my ticker! I now weigh the same as my husband and it feels great!

Back on track

HI all just a check in. Trying to stay away from the computer for a lil while. Spending too much time in the house and not getting out. I have had a few days not 100% on it but pretty close. I had a fruit salad yest (no syrups just fruit) and it gave me the biggest stomach ach. I have had headaches for teh last few days and a migraine last wk. Its my neck and back and geting them reviewed with xrays tomorrow with my chiropractor. Back on track today and had my main meal at lunch so hopfully that helps me feel a lil better. Its hard with a new partener too! Has any1 found that???? I have 3kg left til i hit 80kg so i am so ready to lose it. Once i hit under that i will be sooo happy. I saw a dress i want to buy once im fnished and Matt said yest- 'You will get it, give it time' etc etc. I want it now tho. U all know waht i mean tho!!!! Has any1 gone thru depression with this diet? I found myself just crying for no particulat reason over the wkend and although i feel better still feel tired and just not my old self. Im sure it will pass. Hope ur all stil kicking along.

Hi all!!

Well.. I managed to stay away from the biscuits for half a day.. and hopefully I will not get to see any of the biscuits... I know its tough that way but other than doing just that, I really do not know what other ways to stop myself from eating it... :p
To all fellow singaporeans, I am sorry that I didnt turn up in the last meeting.. I had to visit a friend who have just given birth.. however for the next meetup, I will definitely turn up... so when is the next gathering? I have seen more Singaporean in this forum.. so I am hoping to meet up with all of you gals/guys....
Next week will be my 2nd 4th week and I will be doing the blood test again.. i hope I wlll be able to reduce my sugar level... feeling worried.. but if i am doing the right thing i think i should not have any problems achieving that, right??

Babyegg-

I have two words for you darlin "WILL POWER!!!"

Eat only your allowance of Crispbreads and no more.. you will be ok just stop thinking about them, is it that you are actually hungry?.. because you shouldn't be on this program.. all the water should be enough to get you through!! Take Care!

Cooking for others

8-2much! said:
Ahhh!!! I dont know if I can keep doing this. It is sooooo hard. It is day five and for the fifth night in a row I have made my family a beautiful dinner whilst I sit down to more tinned tuna and salad! I am really suffering tonight. I want to throw it all in. How can I possibly maintain this? It is such an anti-social diet. I need help please!
I have made lots of different recipies already - and actually the food is not too bad. It is what I CANT have that is bothering me. I never believed a vegemite sandwich could look so good and how bad could that really be???
Someone help me out here please.:(

8-2much - I know that this reply is bit late in the coming, but I figure better late than never! I am the cook in my family and I live with one of my sisters, my Mum and my daughter. Most nights they have almost exactly what I have, just in larger quantities. So if I'm having for example, a beef curry - they too have beef curry. I might add extra things to theirs, like coconut cream or serve theirs with rice or papadums, but essentially, when I sit down with them to eat, my meal doesn't really look that different. Sometimes I don't add anything extra to theirs...Stir fry is good for this - just give them a bit extra of what you have. This idea might help you on those days when you are feeling like you can't do it anymore. Hope it helps! Stick with it - you are doing great! And it will be soooooooooooooooooooooooo worth it!

Less of Me- I want to see a picture of you!! Before & After if possible :)
Im sure all the other girls would want to aswell, you have lost so much weight girl, WELL DONE!!!

From a fellow Bribie'itte :)

Babyegg - hello to u too!

Jr_Mint & Sassysapphire - Let's meet up! My email addy's ver_moa@hotmail.com

DeDe23 - I feel like I can't control my moods and I get really depressed and angry and start to cry over the smallest things. No doubt it's due to the new eating habits and my body's responding this way.

Does anyone have a recipes for curry (or anything like curry)? I'm going nuts eating the same foods cooked the same way day after day!

Ver- Dont worry im in the same boat about getting sick of eating the same foods cooked the same way, day in & day out!! And the bad thing with me is i dont eat Curry hha so im stuffed! :)

p.s- Mood Swings etc.. havent happened to me yet.. and i hope they dont!

do not understand!!!

Bam, i do not understand what you mean..
I am not hungry just that I want to munch... can elaborate? I am trying not to eat it now.. so that if i do really eat.. its within the allowed quantity...

Babyegg-

Ok, i understand that you want to munch.. Try having the Sugarfree Chewing Gum that is allowed, it keeps me gong through the day and also keeps my mouth fresh :) Just dont much on those crackers, unless they are 2.5hrs apart and only the amount per day you are allowed!!
