Collapsing in a heap!
Hello to everyone

Gosh it has been so long (so it seems) since I have posted! Thankyou to everyone who missed me or mentioned me

I have been here and I have read the posts every day in between chaos here at work. I work for a newspaper and we are a journo down so in between my usual duties which take up most of my time anyway, I have had to take up the slack in editorial.... phew, I am knackered!!! Head down bum up. It is just two of us bringing out the paper for a while and boy I earn every single measly cent I am making right now... but it keeps me busy and the last thing I have had time for is feeling hungry which is great!!!
I hope everyone is doing ok today. I have been away more than a week now so apologise profusely for not making individual posts but I have been thinking about you all and hope you are all safe and happy. To those who have family and friends who are unwell I have you in my prayers!
I have been on this program now almost 6 weeks and am just about to crack the 20kg mark - fan'bloody'tastic!!! It has exceeded all of my expectations!
Would you believe... mutter mutter... that for the past two nights I have been for a really long walk, felt like I needed to blow the cobwebs away, well thanks to these gorgeous walks I have put on 2kg ... how can that happen??? I havent deviated at all and am not overly worried considering that I am getting healthier every day but I am curious whether this has happened to anyone else.
Next question - Diet soft drinks. I have never been a huge fan of any kind of soft drink so I am lucky there but I do buy the occasional bottle now just to take with me if I am going out. I have a friend who is a nurse who tells me how bad they are for you and that, combined with all of the literature that I have read about them, really concerns me that those people drinking their full litre a day could be doing themselves harm. So once and for all, are they really that bad for you??
I am feeling fantastic right now, this program is relaly the one for me. I feel so much more comfortable. I get down onto the floor with my kids and I dont have to make it in three stages to get back up again, I have no joint pain and I just feel so much free-er (if thats a word). My clothes are hanging and I was told yesterday that I look 10 years younger... woohoo!!!
It was mentioned in an earlier post that Equal is not allowed as a sweetener... yikes!!! I have one in both of my coffees each day, should I be purchasing a different one?
Last night I had the most delicious meal!!! I had bunless burgers... I made my meat allowance into two hamburger patties, cooked them and put them on top of my two precious crakers. On top of the meat I had sliced tomato and my molecule of mayonaise... the rest of my vegie allowance was made up of thinly sliced onion which I cooked to within in an inch of its life in a speck of spray on oil. I cooked them until they went all crisp and crunchy and there was a lot of it! It was kinda like open air burgers and onion rings Cohen's style. It was super delish!!!!
Anyway, I have to put my nose back onto the grindstone now but really wanted to poke my head in and say hello ... so
"hello to you all"
I know I havent met any of you but you, and your support means so much ... you really are all so wonderful and deserve nothing but massive success.
Pat yourselves on the back and tell yourself just how special you are
Leanne
