Hi everyone,
Well as usual after just 5 days there is another 3 pages of posts to get through. Isn't it great to hear what each of us is up to? Better to get on here and have a whinge and then just jump back on the wagon. It is good to hear everyone being so supportive.
Dilfizzle My weight loss is one of the slower one's but then to be honest I do have the odd deviation, and I find it hard to drink the water even after 3mths. My stats are nearly the same as the old me, started 20th Feb at 93.5kg and now 78.5kg, a loss of 15kg but also lost 9" of my tummy, so guess any loss is a good loss.
JewlsYour hubby may not be supportive at the beginning but he soon will be when you start looking better and get compliments from other's. Just tell him that you are doing it for yourself first and then the family so that you can all do more things together. Get the kids to help you by keeping a record of your measurements and asking them to remind you not to eat the wrong things, they could even help with preparing and cooking their own meals sometimes. Let them choose (within reason) what they would like for dinner etc. Whichever way you choose there isn/t an easier way than this. GO FOR IT.
ZeldaDEveryone's plan is slightly different and individual.. My fruit allowance is 3per day and 6 cracker biscuits as an example but after a couple of weeks what seems like a small amount becomes quite norman. I guess what we FORMER FATTIES
think of being small portions are really what the normal slender person eats anyway.
Anyway to all the NEWBIEStake it from all of us on here that have tried all the diets for years, once you do this it all makes sense and I feel that after Cohens we should all know exactly how to manage our weight and keep it off. As they say "it's a lifestyle". Just go for it and do it.
Good luck for the long weekend (it is here is the west anyway) everyone and keep up the good work.
