Bam, what made you think you could have grated cheese????LOL. You have been doing so well in every other way.
I too don't eat all my fruit allowance. I thought the fruit was only if you needed something to snack on between meals and I don't often feel like anything extra:confused:

Don't beat yourself up over the cheese, atleast you now know where you went wrong and so next weigh in you will lose more.

Sassysaphire86 - You're family and you're extended family are going to blown away!!!! What a great incentive to lose it now. I'm doing the same thing, with losing weight for when I see my family. My mother has been slim all her life and I have four sister-in-laws who are all thin and look great no matter what they wear. So I need to be slim so that I don't feel like the fat ugly step sister anymore!!!!

Princessoz- Yes i was naughty :( And god only knows why i put grated cheese on everything haha, im an idiot sometimes.. although, now i know NEVER to do it again..

Id best be off, better make my lunch for tomorrow.. all i bloody do is cook, cook, cook.. and its only for myself!!

Ready to Lose - I hope you are Ok. Doing shift work can only make everything seem harder. I hope you hang in there - you'll never forgive yourself if you don't! I am thinking of you and hope we can channel some positive energy to each other as I have been finding it difficult this being my first week.
You have lost so much weight already - there's no going back! Look out QLD!

Netski - You certainly caused a stir - so many posts! And no wonder, you look amazing. Congratulations. What a wonderful acheivement.

Less of Me: Thanks for the monthly breakdown. I got to the end of week 8 with 19.2kg lost but I felt like I have slowed a bit this month probably around 6.5kg by next wednesday. Your results confirm what I think I have read before from other posts that month three is slow. I am going to start the exercise to try and rev it up a bit, and hopefully get back to the 8s and 9s each month. I have so much to loose I felt that at this rate I was going to be at this for another year. I need to do it faster than the 6s each month to stay motivated. I cant wait to hit the 40s I get motivated looking at your ticker. Good luck with month 6.

L-Jay: Good idea to break it down. Sometimes I find the numbers overwhelming and I get sick in my stomach just thinking about it. My attempt to manage this has been to set it up in my mind in two sections the first 33.9kgs that will take my weight to 100kg which I hope to achieve in late September and then the rest another 30kgs which I hope to have achieved by my birthday in Feb. and will weigh 70kg.(still cant imagine me at that number but am working on the visulisation game). I want to thank you for your posts when I started I found them very motivating. I am looking forward to seeing you reach your next target.

Great to see so many people posting, its good to know there is so much support and information here.

i have been reading this support forum for a few weeks while deciding to do Cohen programme or not.........Had bloody tests today, so hoping to get started by late next week....:D

i have about 17-20 kg's to lose and to help get my metabolisim back in shape following some health issues.

Go to .
Go down the list to the weight loss option.
Follow the prompts fill in weight and goal
Choose your style both ruler and tracker
When you are satisfied with your design and info go down to the fist box it is labelled something like bb. Highlight everything in the box and then go to edit and copy.
Then go back to the weight loss forum
Click on UserCP
Click on edit signature
put your cursor in the box and go to edit and paste.
Then click save that is underneath the box.
The next time you post your ticker should come up.
Whenever you want to update your ticker you have to go through all these steps again except for the design choices.
These instructions are from memory I hope I got it right. Let us know if you need more help.

i'm so happy... i went shopping for a new pair of capris today... and found that i could fit into a size 14~!, i was previously a size 18... omg... speechless~ :eek:

Jayce, well done!!! I am sure you must be really happy.. i would want to have that day also... till one day when I realise i can fit into size 14 or 12... I have always been size 18... I am working hard making sure i dun deviate at all... :p so far I have never deviate at all...
 
I had to share this with you all. After eating my hot chips and not sticking to the program exactly 100%, I just had to weigh myself this morning thinking that I would have put weight on - I haven't.:D :D :D I can't believe it. I know I would have lost more weight had I not eaten the disgusting fatty, greasy chips so I promise to not do it again. Christmas is fast approaching and I need to lose my weight before then..... Actually last night I came up with a new goal, to have reached my goal weight by 8 December. This is my little boys 6th Birthday and I figure a McDonalds Party with a slim and sexy mum would be a great treat for both of us!!!!

I'm going to have a great day today, and I hope all of you do too.;)

Neski - you look fabulous, even my son was ever impressed cause he thought you were gorgous before.

Less of me - Congratulations you are still my inspiration and you look fantastic girl, it gives me hope that i will be there soon. Way to go, do you need to pinch yourself everyday to realise it is you. Question how long did it take before you actually saw and believed the changes in yourself? (ie in the mirror, not just clothes)

L-jay - how are you going? Are you back on or still resting? I miss posting to you.

Magiclea - where are you? I also miss your inspirational post. I hope you are still going well and am eager to know about your progress.

narn873 - this will be the last program to ever go on. It fixes the metabolism completely and changes your outlook to food once and forall, so welcome and good luck.

jayce - it is a great feeling when we fit into a smaller more regular size clothes. Are you starting to look at different styles of clothes now you are smaller? You look great keep it up girl.

Princessoz & BAM - on the day that you feel heavier it could be to the fact that your body is using some of your stores or where you are in your cycle. I know it is hard, as i have those days also but you are both doing great and lost over 5kg each. Embrace those yukky days and just know in your heart that your body is waging a war on your fat cells to get rid of them for good and try to see (not always clear) the positive points of those days. I can recommend a chick flick, box of tissues and some yummy mangoe piece together with relaxing bubble bath to soothe the frustations away. Girls you really are doing great.

Well ladies I'm almost at week 10 and the time has flew by so quickly. I am amazed at how many centimetres i have lost (99 as of last week, measurement take tomorrow). I have discovered so much about myself and what food really is and what i should do with it that i think i amaze myself everyday. I have been an emotional, sad, happy, comfort and just plain bored eater all my life and now i only eat to live. I think facing our fears and why we eat is the biggest issue every eater needs to face. So all those who stray ask your self this question.... why? why do i want this so bad and right now? I think you will be shocked at your own realisation. Food it not our friend, it is just something we need everyday to live but we shouldn't live everyday to eat!

Keep up the great work you are doing and take time to enjoy your food and your sucess. God bless you all for the support and encouragement you give everyday.

beebee You'll find as you get lower, you will begin to notice every single kg you lose. I find I can see where its come off. The rest will be off before you know it.
Jewls Yes I am now going great guns. One thing I've realized is the weight comes off me very quickly. I lose very easily doing this, and get run down. Thats when I find it hard. I tend to burn the candle at both ends a bit. Usually its not with things I can get out of. So the vitamins and water are a very important factor. Its really important to look after yourself while doing this. I've been wondering whats happened to Magiclea and a few others too. Hope you are all travelling well.

Does anyone have any different ways of eating tuna. I've found a couple of recipes on the Cohens site, which I'll have a go at. I find tuna plain with salad gives me chronic heartburn for the rest of the day.

Tuna

L-Jay - I too have problems with tuna, I find it so dry and never enjoy eating it in a salad. Try blending the tuna with your Mayonaise allowance and some celery, the celery will add extra moisture. You can also add some spices and fresh coriander. This is really nice on crackers. See how you go!

Thanks for your motivating words Jewls. I will keep going because I am so over this body and what I have done to it over that last three years. I think I will take up your suggestion of the chick flick, bubble bath and mango.

Does anyone else think that having a full length mirror helps to keep weight off? I also had full length mirror wardrobe doors and in my new house I don't and I think not looking at myself in those mirrors everyday made it easier to get fatter without seeing what I was doing.:eek:

Another favourite of mine is mango salsa, I love it on fish and it's so esy to make.
finely chop some mango, Coriander and spanish onion and mix together with a smidge of lemon juice. Then serve with your favourite fish, either on top or on the side.- YUMMO:p
 
PrincessOz, Ohhh yea, I know what you mean coming from a family where everyone is sooo slim & petite! I'm the tallest & the biggest and the only one heavier than me is my uncle and he's a guy.. Not good! I just cant wait to lose this weight so that i can finally trade clothes with my sister without just envying them. :D

I am really really having trouble eating... :(

Every single day at lunch time i go through the same procedure of not wanting to eat my lunch.. i dont know what to do about it?? Im simply not the slightest bit hungry but i know i have to eat it!!

I can eat my fruit & crackers fine.. but just meals.. i am just not that hungry..

Has anyone else felt like this at all or is it just me??
 
SassySapphire - You will lose the weight and be able to wear all the clothes that you want to.

Bam - what if your try not eating between breakfast and lunch? Do you think that would help? I can't say that this has been a big problem for me - maybe two or three times I have not felt hungry but it's probably more about not enjoying what I was about to eat.
 
Princessoz- Yeh i think that might be the case with me.. not enjoying what im eating.. but ay, if its going to make me slim i shouldnt care what im eating.. I suppose it has alot to do with my previous "before cohen's" style of eating.. i pretty much starved myself and it didnt help.. so maybe i just have to snap out of that routine and start eating again :)

How are you today anyways??

P.S- Im feeling skinny today LOL
