Hello Heavenlylamb

32.5 kilos, excellent progress. I'll bet the size 14 pants feel good - and look great!

I tried on a whole new uniform outfit on Friday - my franchise group has a new uniform range and are paying for the first $400 of uniforms for the Principals.

Well, how could I resist!?!

These uniforms are Classy with a capital 'C'!

Fitted 'shell' top - with a zipper down the back! When was the last time you saw a fully tailored and lined top with a back opening zipper!! Talk about Breakfast at Tiffany's - I shall have to get one of those little gadgets which Grandma had, for reaching over my shoulder and pulling up the zipper.

But let me tell you, in my high heels, wearing a tailored style size 10 navy blue pant and size 10 navy blue shell top, I was just transfixed with my image. Simple, sophisticated, stylish, I don't think I have ever had such clothes! I also looked taller, and very professional.

All the clothes except one blouse fitted me - a pity, a nice chambry blouse but designed for someone with boobs and a bum, neither of which I now have.

The very helpful fitting person could see that I have lost a lot of weight. The very fine crinkles under the skin tell the story. Still, at 56, I now look rather good - and the best I have in years - even if I say so myself.

So now that you are past the half way mark, I wish you many happy surprises with your new wardrobe. I look with amazement at myself and I am sure that you do, too!

Best wishes

Chelsea

Just a ticker update! I can't beleive I have lost this much weight in under 3 months!! Mind blowing really!! Although it feels like the wieght is coming off at a snails pace at the moment... But I don't care at least it is coming off and not going on!! So close to Christmas Goal it's not funny. Have a great day everyone!:D

something is wrong with my ticker - it is supposed to say 66.8kg's I saved it as that in my user CP but it keeps coming back as my old ticker??? Anyone know why??

Whose brilliant idea was it to shorten the signatures?
I tried to save it and it comes back with these errors:
1. Your signature can not be longer than 100 characters excluding BB Code markup.
2. Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 3 line(s).

I got rid of everything and only kept the actual ticker and it still wouldn't save the new ticker info!!! What is going on - My ticker inspires me everyday and now I can't use one - or the old one keeps coming up>> very frustrating

It's just too hard to be total Cohens for me for Christmas so I'm taking 10 days off, having said that, I'm keeping carbs low, not mixing proteins, sticking to the diet drinks, and weighing daily to ensure I don't put on 100 grams.. so far so good.

See you all after Christmas when I'm back in to it 100%.

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL, and if you can't be good be careful. xxoo

Hi Dreamer, how did you save it as a text doc??? I'm a bit of a spac at this. Sorry!! How come it changed anyway??

Re: Melly P

First of all MellyP i just want to say CONGRATULATIONS!! on the big loss!
i was wondering if it was okay if i ask you a few questions..
youve lost 17 kilo in THREE months *FANTASTIC* but were you very strict on the program? such as did you deviate??
also did you do any exercise?and did you drink all ur 3 litres water every day?
i am really hoping to lose 20+ kilo in my three months before i start Uni next year (feb 20th) so i dont feel like a fat frumpy student and i can go to all the orientation functions looking fab (superficial i know but hey).
If its too personal for you thats ok, i think im just looking for some peace of mind and motivation to get me through!

happy losing everyone!!

Hi Hi...

I wish to ask... why can't we mix proteins together? Could someone help me on this? Thank you!

Proteins

Newlife I would imagine it's because of the different weights and values of the proteins. Ican have 120gms poultry for meal 2 but only 105gms beef, too hard to work out how much of each to eat. Also if you're having bits of this protein and bits of another, how do you keep track and not overindulge. I think it also makes it easier on the body to manage 1 kind of protein per meal. Just my thoughts.

Hello fatcat

I have lost 19kilos in the 3months on cohens, hope that motivates you oh and i did have a shocker those last 4 weeks so i probably would have lost more, i ate m&ms at the movies twice had a slice or cake and 2 non cohens meals, i don't reccomend deviating cause it's so hard to get back on track 100%, and it does affect your loss, i drink 2-3 litres most days but some day's i would drink 4 litres. hope that all helps good luck.

You can do anything you put your mind too.

Hi
about the mixing protiens, i was told it was to ensure your body stays in the fat buring mode, thats why we have to wait 5 hours between meals to prevent those meals from mixing proteins.

Hi

I have lost 21kg so far. I have been on the Cohen's diet for 11 weeks. I drink 4 litres of water most days.
I do NOT intend to deviate over Christmas. I read an article from a 15yo on Friday in our newsletter (Australia) and she said if a 15yo can last over Christmas then anyone can. I managed to survive a Christmas party on Sunday. I had chicken and salad for lunch and alternated my drinks between a glass of water and a glass of soda water in a wine glass (just to feel the part). I am so glad I did. I feel so much better for it.
Best to all over Christmas. Have a good Cohen Christmas and New Year!!

LOL

Wow!!!!! Ata

Congrats If I needed inspiring you have certainly done that 21kg in 11 weeks it's hard to imagine you can lose weight that fast my goal is 20 kg and I have only been on programme for a week.

Any other tips beside the water.

Congrats again

Sam

Hello fellow losers.

Just curious, at what stage in your weight loss did you actually feel a difference in your body? I still cant see or feel a difference, apart from noticing my collarbone lol:p. My main problem area is my tummy and i am yet to notice a change with it, it still feels and looks so heavy and pudgy and bloaty. So, my question is: How long into the program did you look at yourself and say "wow, i can see and feel a difference"?

Hi FatCat, it's my pleasure to answer any questions you may have. Firstly I have been fairly strict on the program so far - I did deviate once though - I had two glasses of red wine one night (got me quite drunk and very hungover the next day!! - body didn't like it much!!) That little lapse did slow my wieght down, well it actually stopped my weight loss for about 6 days. I have had times I've plataued (sp?) for a week or so also. The times I did plateau I think it was because I wasn't being supa careful with weighing my food properly, as soon as I got a bit stricter with myself and wieghing food my weight started dropping again. It is really important to stick to this as much as humanly possible. If I had been a real stickler I would have lost more than 17kg's in 3 months. Wish I had of!!
I drink about 2.5 litres of water a day - sometimes 3 - I just forget to drink sometimes then I drink heaps in the early evening - I don't recommend this at all - I think if I tried harder I could do 3 litres plus more a day.
I have 10 more kg's to go and I hope to be at my goal weight by the first or second week of Feb.
I am going to deviate on Christmas day and I know it will slow everything down, but I am prepared for that.
I have 35 people coming over to my house for Christmas Dinner with ALL the trimmings. I am going to have a couple of champagnes and a little of my mums awesome Christmas pudding (I cant' wait another whole year to have a taste of it - it is amazing!) other than that I am going to have a small bit of Turkey and some dressing free salad.
Oh as far as exercising goes - I have only just started doing 30 minutes on my treadmill on a fast walk. I spoke to my consultant about it and she said no more than twice a week and if it triggers hunger to do it only once a week or stop altogether until I'm at goal weight.
Other than that I have done zero exercise!!! I will hit the gym about 2-3 times a week after I finish to tone up and get a little muscle definition but thats all.
I will post some before and now photos soon - but I am a little scared as they are of me just in a bra and tracky pants ( very scary sight!) but the transformation already is amazing!
You can do this not probs - just get into a routine with it and you will find it easy!! It has been the easiest wight loss program I have ever been on (and I've been on them all!) and the only one that works!!
Good Luck - you will look amazing before you go back to uni!! :D

Hi Everyone

I am pretty happy I have started week 6 today of my Diet and hav e lost 10.5kg. I can notice the weight loss in my clothes but other than that I don't think I look much different.

I have found last week was much easier to deal with than the last 4. I found it easy to resist temptation and was not having that evil voice in my head wanting everything that I can't have.

I have my work christmas party this Friday and have planned to deviate for that day. But now that I have lost 10.5Kg and I have been 100% for this long so now I am thinking it might not be a good idea and I should just stick with it. I am a little scared once I get a taste of the good life it will be too hard to stop.

Congrats to all of you for doing so well in your weight loss journeys and being so inspirational.
