An update on my broken toe.....its still sore, I'm still just biking for my cardio workout. I might try the rowing machine for 10 minutes tomorrow, I'll see if my foot is comfortable in the pedal straps. I walked on the treadmill today, but had to stop as I couldn't go fast enough to get my heart rate up before my foot was in pain. It's getting a little easier walking around in day to day life, my knee high leather boots still cause me a bit of pain...oh! but I do love my boots!:) :)

Hi brat and punkyg - welcome to the club. Just deduct the distance you've walked/cycled/ran/swam etc from the last posted total. We are currently on our way to Winnipeg! It's one way to keep us all motivated and moving. That being said my kms for today are 21kms which brings our total to:

1726.21kms

I just got done walking a mile!! Woo hoo.. even though I am eating a port O' subs sub sandwhich. I didn't put mayo, or cheese..or much bad stuff on it.. so thats good!!

today is my weigh in day. I'm down another 2lbs. Woo! Hoo! I've reached one of my first goals, to be out of the "teens" I'm down to 209lbs. Next goal is to reach 205lbs!

Ok its been a few hours since I typed that last sentence. I've since been to the gym, a bit rushed for time today. Kms for today 17kms brings out total now to :

1676.37kms

My next mini goal after that is your current goal (can you tell I'm on your heals?!) 205 takes me out of the "obese" catagory and into the "over weight" catagory. I'm all for that!!

M2M - I thought I could feel someone breathing down my neck!;) How tall are your M2M. I'm 5ft 6ins and can't wait to get to "overweight" and kiss the "obese" BMI goodbye forever! But for my height I need to get to 183lbs.

Ok a little story under the category of "kids say the darndest things". I was in our doctors office having the usual blood pressure check up etc, on his office wall are posters of various health issues. One poster is about the dangers of carrying extra fat around the abdomen/trunk. The poster has two illustrations of an obvious female form one pear shaped and one (very unflattering) apple shaped. My then 3 year old boy says at the top of his voice " look mummy! There's a picture of you, only your tummy is MUCH bigger!(said as if I should be pleased my tummy is bigger!)

Anyway down to business. Kms for today 21kms brings our total to:

1648.33kms

I need to get started back on my walking i did alot of walking yesterday getting geting kids ready for school congradulations everuone on there walks they got in and weightloss

Well, I'm down for 6.6 miles today - according to my car odometer, it was actually 7 miles, but since I'm always using the same pedometer, it's what I'll subtract ;)

So with my 10.56 kms our new total is...

You know on my weight loss i have lost so far 33 pounds and my husband keep saying i cant see the difference well this weekened i bought me a new out fit and i finaaly model it last night and he notice the difference
by the way kms is that when your walking?
