Ok.. so it's the start of a new week AND MONTH in this Vegas challenge I am doing.. I am definately at a plateau and starting to get discouraged bc I have been working hard and not seeing any results.. I am going to tweek things a little bit this week and try to get some results..

Thanks to SNAP I am going to start journaling my food in here again..

Wakeup: 9:15 am

Breakfast- One slice light wheat toast (40 calories)--- i know I was in a hurry.. almost missed my class at the gym!

Gym- 1 hour body works class (free weights to music full body)
30 minutes elliptical/ step

Lunch- 1/4 rotisserie chicken white meat
1/2 baked sweet potato
small portion of baby lima beans
sweet tea

Snack- fruit snacks (80 calories)
1 piece lindt dark chocolate

Dinner- baby shower-
cheese cubes
2 chicken fingers
3 mini breads
4 chocolate strawberries
1 slice cake

Wakeup- 10:45am (woo hoo!sleep in!)

Lunch- 2pm- ham and cheese sandwich on light wheat bread (200 calories)
wheat thins (100 calories)

4:30pm- roasted chicken
1 piece lindt chocolate

Workout: 15 minutes stretching
30 minutes pilates video
30 minutes dancing

8pm- 1 apple

WAY to GO....that's MUCH better than YOU have been DOING....keep it up, and I BET you in one week YOU will GET SOME RESULTS!!!!! It helps so much more WRITING it down, you feel kinda GUILTY having to write down all the CRAPOLA!!! :eek:
 
So I hopped on the scale this morning and it said 158.5!!!!!!!!! I hope it stays under 160 but it always seems to jump back up there. I am working out hardcore this week so hopefully it keeps going down. Did I break the plateau?! :)

Wakeup: 8am

Breakfast- Milk & Cereal Bar (180 calories)
Green Tea Pill

AM Snack- pretzels (150 calories)

Lunch- grilled chicken breast (300 calories)
roasted potatoes (200 calories) ? I am guessing on the high end I have no idea...
1/2 apple (50 calories)
1 mini candy bar (80 calories)

PM Snack-1/2 dr pepper (75 calories)
1 mini candy bar (80 calories)

PM Snack (again) pretzels (75 calories)

Workout- stretch 15 minutes
30 minute walk (weak, I know but I have a pulled muscle)


Dinner- Grilled chicken sandwich (300 calories)

Nice work! Keep at it, logging your food definitely helps. I read something the other day that said, people who record everything they eat lose twice as much as people who don't.

I read that same article.. and it definitely does work if you can keep up with it... Hopefully I can do it longer than a few weeks this time!

Yesssss YOU CAN :iagree:!!!! ALL you have to DO IS DO IT....make it a POINT....we MAKE time for the THINGS we WANT....and YOU want THIS!!!

Ok so... yesterday I didnt get to workout like I wanted to because my hamstring was so tight but i did get in a nice walk and some swimming.... nothing intense though.. today my hamstring is feeling a little better but my knee is bothering me! If its not something its another.. I met a girl in my neighborhood who I am going to start walking with everyday and I am also going to try to hit the gym after work if my knee gets to feeling better.

Wakeup: 6:30am

Breakfast: 1 coke
fiber one bar (180 calories)

Lunch: ham and cheese sandwich on whole grain (300 calories)
chips (150 calories)
candy (150 calories)

Dinner: McDonalds:( 1/2 lb cheeseburger (510 calories)
fries (370 calories)

Ok... so yesterday was TERRIBLE.. I was so motivated this week and set on getting 3 points everyday... then my car breaks and i spend all day taking it to get it fixed and when they told me how much it was going to cost i went into a funk and ate mcdonalds... haha that is how i console myself i guess.. french fries!

Well one thing that has come about my car being in the shop is that i had to walk to work today! It is just a 5 minute walk.. but hey.. i have to make it 4 times today so now I know what it feels like to be a New Yorker..

One bad meal wont be bad for ya if ya keep it to just that one. I had pizza on saturday and still lost 5 lbs this week :D
 
I agree w/MacDaddy...one McDonald's run won't kill ya. But yes, emotionally eating is a hard habit to break. Mine usually involves emotional margaritas followed by emotional eating. hahah

AWwwww....:grouphug: I know things are ALL smacking you at ONE time, but HEY...just think ABOUT it like THIS....."WOULDN'T you rather GET slapped UP and AROUND all AT ONCE,....or do YOU wanna GET SLAPPED up EVERYDAyyyyyY!!!??!?!".......LOL

....oooooh.....I'll TAKE one GOOD beating PLEASE....and THEN leaaave ME ALONE!!! LOL

...I KNOW you can DO THIS....and LEAVE those YUMMY fries alone.....you should bake some in the oven at home if YOU CAN't STAY away.....at least they'll be salty, YET baked! :iagree:.......just a thought
