Chris B's Weekly Weigh-in

KasumiNeko has a GREAT quote in her signature, and I'd just like to post it in my journal. This has really inspired me this morning:

"nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"

Thats powerful stuff. :)

Question

Hey Tempest,
I noticed that you posted on the before and after side, I couldnt view your pics, do you need to have something special turned on or a specific program to view? Just curious........Cabana:p

Yesterday went really well for me. I was completely by the book in every aspect yesterday. I had a zonebar for breakfast, a turkey sandwich and yogurt for lunch, and a grilled chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-a for dinner. I tried to order a salad, but they were out, so the grilled chicken sandwich was the next best thing. And it was goooooood. ;)

For exercise, I did 30 minutes on the elliptical, 20 minutes of weights, and walked for an hour.

You are doing awesome!! You sound like you have your routine down to a T. Thats great! Sometimes I think its being consistent that is really difficult when dieting, but you seem to have that way under control.

Keep up the great work, and have a great weekend! :) Supposed to be a cold and rainy one from what I hear.

Good Morning Tempest,
Sounds like you made some pretty good food choices yesterday, and did great on exercise. Have a great weekend! ;) Cabana

Well, I survived another Friday lunch! :) These are always tough. We went to Snuffer's (a local burger joint), and the guys started out with fried pickles -- which I LOVE.

I was tempted to eat JUST ONE, but I didn't do it. I had my grilled chicken salad and moved on. It felt great, I like being good, it does wonders for the soul. ;)

uh oh, did u say fried pickles? never ever have i tried one of those, let alone even heard of them! Ohhh this is not good. I am a pickle holic. I love sour everything! Where on earth do you find these?

on second thought, maybe i better not ask....fried anything on my butt looks scary....:(

Wow.. never heard of fried pickles either. MM. Congratulations to having the will power to resist! Honestly.. I admire any man who can cut back on his eating and eat healthier when he has the pressure from a bunch of other men surrounding him! Women don't usually get that..

Hehehe, yeah, fried pickles are *really* good -- but they've just got to be awful for ya health-wise. :p

I've dealt with pier pressure all my life, but I've always had a weakness when it comes to food. I'm finally able to stand my ground, and now I've just gotta keep it that way. :)

I'm down another 1.5 lbs this week! :)

I would have liked it to be closer to 3 lbs, especially since I'm doing the Challenge, but I'll take it.

The roads were bad this weekend, so I worked out at home. I'm just gonna keep on going, and I'm headed back to the gym tonight. :D

Congrats on losing another 1.5 pounds!! You are really on a roll! Guess all those trips to the gym are really paying off. :)

Keep up the great work!

Great job...even though your not on my team :) Haha just kidding...you are doing great and im sure your starting to see that it is really paying off....good job!

Thanks Fluff and Sara. :)

I'm still a little bummed about the 1.5 lbs, I just gotta realize that it can't be 3 lbs every week...

Patience...I know. ;)

I'm headed to the gym in a few, gotta make this happen!

Yesterday I was feeling pretty sluggish, and not too motivated.

But, I still took a trip to the gym. The first 10 minutes on the elliptical were pretty rough, I just wasn't feeling it. But once I got warmed up, it became alot easier. I did 20 minutes on the elliptical and then 20 minutes of weights.

I normally take Tuesday's off, but I'm still headed to the gym tonight. I lost the fewest pounds last week, so I owe it to me team. ;)
