Chest not gaining much size

I started working out for real about a week and a half ago (with lots of help from you guys. Thanks!) and I've been doing pretty well. I'm really skinny and wanted to gain size, and that's going well. I've gained a few pounds, and I have noticed some growth and definition in my muscles (especially my arms and calves).

Now here's the problem: one of the things I wanted to work on most was my pecs. I have noticed a little change, but it's VERY slight. I've been working it out plenty, doing bench (flat and inclined) and dumbell flies, but nothing's really happening. WHen I work them out, I don't feel much in my chest, mostly in my arms, which get tired before I feel like I've worked out my pecs. Funny thing is, my arms are probably the most developed muscle group on my body.

What can I do to build them up? I know dieting is important, but I've been doing exactly that, eating lots and often, with a lot of protein and complex carbs but no junk food. Any suggestions? I'm getting REALLY frustrated. I know I shouldn't be expecting phenomenal results, but given the progress with the rest of my body, I was at least expecting SOME. THanks guys.

You've only been working out for a week and a half, what do you expect? It takes time. Eat plenty of food and get plenty of rest, it will come.

For Starters...

"I started working out for real about a week and a half ago"

Don't expect huge visual cues in size over a week and a half. Especially in the larger muscles. Building muscle takes time. Just keep at it.

"WHen I work them out, I don't feel much in my chest, mostly in my arms, which get tired before I feel like I've worked out my pecs."

Make sure your using the proper technique at bench but also starting out you will feel it in your arms more, they are just not ready for the weights yet and probably your muscles are working alot to 'balance' the weights as you lift and lower them. Again, just keep at it.

a week and a half is nothing man, u would barely see anything in a week n a half, if this was possible id be bigger than arnold, even though im a skinny crap.

i saw results after 2months for the first time.
