I started working out for real about a week and a half ago (with lots of help from you guys. Thanks!) and I've been doing pretty well. I'm really skinny and wanted to gain size, and that's going well. I've gained a few pounds, and I have noticed some growth and definition in my muscles (especially my arms and calves).
Now here's the problem: one of the things I wanted to work on most was my pecs. I have noticed a little change, but it's VERY slight. I've been working it out plenty, doing bench (flat and inclined) and dumbell flies, but nothing's really happening. WHen I work them out, I don't feel much in my chest, mostly in my arms, which get tired before I feel like I've worked out my pecs. Funny thing is, my arms are probably the most developed muscle group on my body.
What can I do to build them up? I know dieting is important, but I've been doing exactly that, eating lots and often, with a lot of protein and complex carbs but no junk food. Any suggestions? I'm getting REALLY frustrated. I know I shouldn't be expecting phenomenal results, but given the progress with the rest of my body, I was at least expecting SOME. THanks guys.
