Changing the way i feel

Today was my day off work out wise.I only did my weight lifting for arms.I felt really bored today.I didnt even feel like cleaning the house.I did eventually but it felt like a drag.So i decided im not doing anything else.


BR Coffee and 2 mini toasts with w/2 pieces of extra light cheese

Luch 2 bowls of lentile soup with a piece of feta cheese

Dinner 1 bowl of lentile soup a piece of feta cheese

Snacks 2 cereal bars.


I feel bloated prbably from the lentiles but yet i want to eat rubbish.

I past by the section in the super market today with cookies and brownies and little croiassant withe chocolate filling.That bag of croissants was 300 gr and the cals for 100 gr was about 400....JESUS!!!i did want to get the bag and eat them so badly but i didnt.Then i had to go get a loaf of bread from the bakers and i surounded by little cheese pies, honey things ,little choclate eclers...OMG!!!i wanted them so muchDidnt have any,so i got to thinking that tommorow i wont have anything all day exept my coffee and go get a bag of chocolate croissants....Then i think that ill be hungry...Isnt there a way around this?????


Day 04 - Your greatest fears about weight loss.

A!yes!i DO have fears about weight loss!Forst i fear that i ll have loose sking or ill just not be very firm and tight all over.So i think that working out will help a lot.But still at the back of my mind i imagine myself thin and loose....

Something else i fear a lot is that ill loose all the weight and still wont be hot.I know it sounds silly and childish but i really want to be hot.Not just slim.I want to have a great shape aswell.So im afraid that the area around my hips that is very wide will always be that way and ill have skinny arms and legs and a huge hip area.....

Something last.I didnt want to mention but ill be honest and say it out loud for the first time.I am scared that when i am slim ill still have problems in my relationship.I do blame a lot on my looks.Fear that my husband isnt atracted to me cause of my body,so im secretly counting on all to be great and have loads of sex when im sixtyfive kilos.I am scared IF things wont change i ll have to face the facts,and actually deal with the situation....I know i sound crazy...I am SCARED to see what the situation will be.

So i was looking around the net last night for many different things about bodies and workouts i came across different interesting things.

First of all i understood that what i fear a lot has a name!Its called ThinFat syndrome!you know when you are slim but have more fat on you than u should and look flaby....Then i was readin that the only way to TONE is developing muscle and that is achievable ONLY by weight liffting.No cycling or eliptical,or treadmill will give you that look.It helps for the heart to do aerobic exersices and to loose weight but for that fabulous look its only weight liffting exercises....So im a bit confused.

Should i just go for the cardio to loose the kg and THEN do serious liffting OR should i DO BOTH from now???

Its like a HUGE OTHER chapter,see one chapter is getting the FAT off and then 2nd chapter is getting a fab body...So is it correct ot do both from now or should i be concernd later on?

Then i came across some celb photoshops...oh well!!!

They are still gorgeous anyway but i mean they arent what i thought all this time.I was wondering WHAT creams do they use and NOT AGE?

So if anybody can help on my question pleeeeaaaasssee about toning.I mean shall i do a 3-4 time a week strenght training for about 45 minute?or should i just do my arm workouts???


Also my left arm seems to be strange looking.Its from the dumbells i know but i am worried.Is this normal?it looks strange not nice , so thats why im going on about strengh training.I dont like whats happening to my arms.The left one is more "swollen" that the right one.....Please tell me your opinion .....

I dont know why i was feeling hungry so much...So i probably didnt do really good cause of the food but i did get my workout done again.

I have even made a weekly programm for it!!!!


Day 05 - Why do you really want to lose this weight? Are you doing it for you? I dont like the way i look.I dont feel comfortable in my clothes.I dont feel pretty.I dont feel sexy.I was very jealous because of my weight,made things bad for my relationship.I want to feel GOOD and confident and Sexy and pretty and i want to be flerted at,i want to be ME.Not the fat Jess everybody knows.The real ME.I am doing it for MY satisfaction and also because i want my husband to be proud of me...That day i had the christening for our baby , he had friends over from his former job,it was the first time they met me...I cant imagine what they thought.And also i am 30 y.he is 44y.I want to look my age and it would be nice for a change for HIM to be a little jealous over ME not the other way round.
 
Well done on doing 100 sit ups, and 10mins stares, i always mean to do the stares, its supposed to burn an unreal amount of exercise! I hope i can start doing it tomorrow:) DO you do 10 mins straight or break it down into different time periods altogether?

100 Sit ups!!!!! wow hun, thats awesome......I am gonna have to try and do more now, but doing 60 still hurts!!!!!

The celeb pictures are 'airbrushed; They are graphically enhanced. So the before picture is what they look like really. Yes still stunning but when they are airbrushed it makes us feel crap huh!!
 
Oh well when i say situps i dont mean going from plat down to straight up it hurts my back.I go from flat down . up . liffting only the top of my back of the floor.It makes my stomach and all tummy area feel tight a bit painfull after some repeats!I know that normal situp are all the way up.I cant do that.

I got the little stepper so i do 10 minutes straight , i get really sweaty , and my legs burn a lot,i can feel the muscles from my behind really working!I burnt in 10 minutes 95 cals and climbed up nearly 700 stairs.

thanks girls!i wish i didnt eat the cheese today..well hope tommorow is better.

AI don't do proper sit ups either, just can't phsycially get my body to do it. I am gonna try and catch you up with 100 crunches.....That is my goal!

JUST FOUND THESE ..OMG...I LOOK HORRIVBLE...I AM ABOUT 100 KG IN ALL...TERRIBLE...THE ONE WITH THE HAND IN IN jANUARY THIS YEAR.SO ARE THE 2 TOP ONES.tHE ONE IM WAERING JEANS IS IN 2009 ,,,I HAD GIVEN BIRTH ABOUT A MONTH AGO....NOT GOING BACK TO THAT EVER
 
Hey girl just read a few of your previous posts and have some answers. =)

You should definitely be doing the toning and cardio together! It's very hard to tone after losing the weight because it will look flabby. I like to use weights while i do cardio or workout videos that have both in them. Great job on the stairs and the sit ups! You are well on your way to success. Also I really like your daily questions about weight loss! I would love to do those, where did you find them?

I really don't think that you have to worry about being "skinny fat" or flabby or anything. I think that because you put your weight on widthways, On areas like your hips, it springs back into shape better. You could never tell from your photos that you have had a kiddie. You have done so well, you have a completely different figure to the pics above now :D

And you KNOW that you shouldn't only eat a bag off croissants in one day!!!!!! DON'T DO IT!!!! NAUGHTY!!!!!!

Thanks Time4change!I wa told that by a few people but i wasnt really sure cause these people DONT work out neither are on a diet.I am doing both now.Ive started just a few days.I am a little scared cause of my arm,i have put a picture of it further up.I wouldnt want to go bulky!!!!

I found the questions on another 2 girls diary Erikas and Rainbows here they are just copy them and answer one each day.It does get you thinking!!!!



So i did real good today!!!I did lots of house work too.I was planing to do my workout later on in the early evening but we were invited again to our Bfriends home and the time was 3in the afternoon.so i knew we were going to get home late,no excusses!I got on my bike and did 42 minute on level 1!!!!!!GOD i didnt belive i could do this!!!I think its time for me to only do level one cause level 0 (thats NO difficulty at all while spinning) just doesnt make me sweat anymore as the beginning,So level 1 made me sweat my leopard ass off!!!yes!the sweat was dripping down my neck!!!it was lovely!so tiring!i was thinking im not going to make it but i did!!!!Then i did my arm weights and finally my situps!I layed down thinking it would be a piece of cake as yesterday but it wasnt.It was hell.It burnt so bad i couldnt do 100.At 50 i was going to stop bit then i tried for 60 amd suprisingly it got easier...its really weird.I did 80 eventually!

Day6-Do you binge?If so, explain why you think you do


I do binge sometimes.Its like a have a hole in my tummy and just eat eat and not get enough....It happens sometimes maybe 1 a month or twice.Mostly its from boredom.When i have free time on my hands and just sit around i tend to binge.....Maybe thats why i clena my house every single day so well....Maybe im doing it without knowing so i dont just sit and eat.....

I am loving that you are really enjoying your exercise. As you get better it gets easier, the feeling of finding something easy rocks!!! I get twitchy if i don't go to the gym now, I was supose to go today but a friend came round that i haven't seen for ages so it would have been too late for me to go but i know i will get up early in the morning to go then. i am so addicted!

You sound really positive at the moment hun, really pleased for you. :hurray: :hurray: It makes it so much easier when it's not a struggle huh.

I feel realy positive cause from Monday im working out!no excusses no lazy afternoons and its great.I put the pic of Jessica Biel on my laptop as screensaver,just incase i get the urge to invade my fridge!!!Yes my name is Jessca , dont like it at all,its really foreign here

thanks for telling me it gets better....!!!it is really difficult soing crunches...and i thought it was so easy yesterday!!!!Ill probably be so fit in a few months i'll be doing push ups too!!!

Ooooh the pic of your arm makes me wonder what size weights you are using? I would say if your just trying to tone and don't want muscle i wouldn't use anything bigger than a 5lb weight. I personally use 3lb weights, they tone but don't make muscles bulky!!

I use 2 kg in each hand ---i think that must be around 3lbs...Think i should get something lighter?
 
No 3 lbs should be fine! Does your arm still have the lump? It may have just been a strained muscle or something, I wouldn't worry too much. 3 lbs isn't enough to make you look like a body builder or anything! =)
