
Step 1: I'm here.

I am substantially overweight.
My first goal... To lose 32.1 lbs. Trust me.. that is the first of MANY goals to come....
But I am trying to see this not as a diet but as a change in my lifestyle.
I am planning to eat healthier and get active. Track my exercise... and my food... just so I can see what I am consuming.
My exercising will start off small and hopefully increase as I am able to handle it...
My motivations:
- my children - I am afraid that I will not live to see them grow into adults with families of their own
- my health - I'm almost 35... my blood pressure is high - I'm on meds... i wouldn't mind one more child and I'm too afraid to do it at this weight
- my wedding - SO and I (not the biological father of my children) are planning to get married in March... I do not want to look like this on my wedding day
- energy level - Honestly.. I am tired ALL the time. No matter how much sleep - i still want more
- my work - its high energy and I'm tired of being hot and sweaty while there
there are so many more I could keep going and going...
I am looking forward to this journey.
