Cat's Meow's Diary

So my MRI test came back normal. Yay!

And I agreed to be a class manager for jazzercise which mean I don't have to pay for class anymore. Yay again!:hurray:

Blah. So the scale didn't move for weigh in this morning. :banghead: I was hoping to move my ticker just a smidge at least. It looks a little lame now that I've started it fresh.
I'm liking FitDay though. Ive decided I eat too many carbs and not enough protein and fiber on a regular basis and FitDay is really making me aware of that. So I've set daily goals for that as well as drinking more water. I like water, I like tea. I drink tea for a week nonstop all day long and then the next week it just don't drink much liquid at all. It needs to become more of a habit.
So I boiled up some chicken breasts again last night. Gave myself a chicken water facial when I dumped the hot water down the sink after the chicken was done cooking. I picked up a few boxes of FiberOne cereal. Very tasty. Lots of fruits and veggies to snack on.

I'll get there.

That all sounds great--you identified a hole in your routine and you're making changes to remedy it. Excellent. Just keep it up, you'll see results--protein and fiber fill you up and it works to keep you satiated!

HUGS! :hug2:

good job on the MRI! the weight often does that. watch your inches. they can come off before the weight at times.

have a good week

Thanks! I haven't taken measurements in quite a long time but even though I've been stuck in the 150's for a while I did go down a pant size.

LOL @ your fly being down all morning! :)

Congrats on going down a pant size and being a jazzercise instructor! Yay! That's awesome! Also, I'm so glad to hear your MRI was all normal!

Today I feel blah. It's boredom really. Dry cereal and tea for breakfast. We were out of milk. It always seems like when we buy a whole gallon we don't drink any. When we buy a half gallon its gone in a few days.

So I was looking back at my diary and it made me realize I've been stuck in the 150's for about 5 months now.

Man am I grumpy now.

I'm not trying to downplay your sadness, but there's many, many worse places to be than in the 150's! Hold your head high, pretty lady! You have come so far, and you will only continue to succeed! :D

Hang in there. Took a while to put it on & it takes time to take it off. Seems like you are physically going through a lot with the headaches. Maybe your body is just hanging on to see if you are going to be ok.. which you are & hopefully it will start coming off again. Maybe its time to shake up the routine? Belly dancing? trapeze jumping? alligator wrestling? :D (hope you laughed...)

Hang in there. I don't have any answers or advise to help you, but I am hoping you get to where you want to be in a safe & healthy way. Sending you positive & slimming energy your way.

Hey Cat
Sorry to hear that your getting down.
I went thru that about 3-4 weeks ago. Finally feel better. But I still have my moments.
I too got stuck, but my stuck was in the 190's. Was stuck there for about 2 1/2-3 months. Finally jumped out of them this morning.
I know you will too!
I don't remember who adviced you but I agree with them for you to do some measurements. You may be pleasantly surprised!
Have a good day.

Thanks everyone for your support.

I've really been focusing on calories and what I'm eating that makes up those calories for the past 2 weeks. I've started walking on my mother's treadmill as well just to up the cardio. Jazzercise is also offering a PT session after class 2 days a week for 4 weeks which I'm thinking about signing up for, but it's 120 bucks. I'm worth it though, right?

I need to remind myself to take measurements tomorrow. Once on a month on the 1st of the month I'll measure myself to compare. I know I'm getting smaller, but I just like to see the scale move down a little more each week. I'll get over it.
:biggrinjester:

Don't we all love to see the scale go down?! I know I do!

You're well worth those 120$. I'm sure you'll enjoy the class.

have a great day!

Lol, I'm in the 150s too. I look at my scale in the morning and think "When am I going to see 149?! When?!" I'm thinking though, I have to get into the 140s this week. Just keep at it.

How are things with your boyfriend?

I'm trying hard to shovel the rest of breakfast's oatmeal in my face.

The cost for the PT class has been lowered to $99. There will only be about 5 people in the class so we each get lots of attention. I'm looking forward to it. It starts on the 19th. I figure thats on Tuesday and Thursday, I can run on the treadmill on Monday and Wednesday. More cardio and more strength training.

Hey there cat haven't seen you since the winter challenge, good to see you're still on the ball and working hard.

Remember after you finish the 4 weeks of the PT class to substitute something to take up that time or your body will decide you're doing less work and it's trap you in the 150's even longer.

Always good to do measuring though since the inches tend to come off before the pounds.
