Ha ha LJ. They certainly were.
No, Chef. I can't tell each one apart, but they are a different breed to our neighbour's sheep. Ours are Merinos(wool sheep) & our neighbour's are Suffolks.
I'm off to golf today. Hopefully our sheep will just wander back into the top paddock. Then we'll have to corral the errant 4 into L's shed & get them onto our ute & put them in with the others & then ring the shearer. Sounds simple? HA!
 
No. No, it's not simple! I wish! They are still all off gallivanting around, doing what sheep do, which is what they want to do, not what we want them to do. Fair enough probably. I won't lose sleep over them or stress. It's the new me :)
Played 18 holes of golf today, quite well :D Had a net 69 for anyone who has a clue about golf xoxo
 
I only like sheep with wool on the top of their heads. The once with the short-haired faces look so industrial!
 
Why is it the sheep can't just stay where there are supposed to-lol?We had sheep too and they were always getting out of their pen. Although come to think of it the pigs were escaping too. Not bad when the pigs were out but when the boar got out everyone was on edge. Big sucker had big fangs coming up out of his mouth and he would use them.

Good morning, sheepies! We had a couple of goats when I was a teen and they never once got out :eek: Which goes to show how the bible can mess up someone´s reputation :p
 
:) Our goats may have been more motivated to stay in their pen by the two domestic wolves living outside it...
 
They are Emily.That is such a funny photo. They love Ewe & Lamb pellets, which must be the sheep equivalent of lollies/candy. I enticed the 7 back into the top paddock last night :D I laid a trail of them along the top fence & they followed me like..........sheep :) I then snuck around & closed off our new "fence/gate" to keep them in. Hopefully, it will hold this time. D is coming up today to help me reinforce the rest of the top paddock.
Next, I may lay down the fence between the neighbour's block & ours & then, if the other 4 return, will try to get them in with the others, without letting the 7 escape again. Even if they do at least if I had the 11 back I will get them all back in the top paddock. (If her sheep come too she can get them back easily). One thing I do have is lots of determination. I NEVER give up.

I saw the doc the other day. I have been having pain in both my calves & I started wondering if it was a vein thing. My Dad had hardened arteries in his legs(was a heavy smoker) & he died of a heart attack at 71. I have an ap't for an ultrasound. I also asked for another referral to the cardio as it's over 2 years since I saw him. I have an Aneurism (ascending Aorta) & I want it monitored. I really want to be as healthy as I can. There is a history of heart disease on my father's side of the family. I'm sure the pain in my calves is from my veins. I had them done years ago(injections) & my legs felt much better afterwards. It was expensive!

My diet has been really good, but I have only done one fast each week so far this year. I'll try to do 2 next week. G is not eating much & I'm trying to encourage him to eat more. He's not travelling well. He was despondent yesterday. He was getting better each day (less leaking) but has taken a few backwards steps the last few days. I feel for him. He hates it.

This line got me giggling on the train! I hope the ultra sound is soon so you can get that pain taken care of ASAP. I'll be sending some good vibes to your G, too.

It has rained non-stop since about 9 am, so there won't be any fencing repairs done. I had to go into town to pick up some antibiotics as I have another UTI & we visited M as he's out of hospital. He does not look at all well and is not sleeping.
We're back home just relaxing. G is snoozing.
