Thanks, Misty & LaMa. It wasn't too bad. It was just plain boring really. We got there at 9.30 & didn't leave until 4pm & I hardly sold a drink.
I did, however, do a major clean-up of the bar storage area. I moved freezers(have one de-frosting) & we did a load to the tip(took the elderly neighbour's stuff as well) & the day was not wasted-
Lemons into lemonade :) You have to try.
Cruising today.
 
Now I see you with a leather headband, driving a Harley through the desert :p
Did that come from me saying I was cruising?

Kanok1- I think your comment may have come from diary early on. I'm not sure. Thanks for visiting. It's always nice to have newbies in the forum, whether you're a writer or a reader. It's a great place & everyone is welcome.

Did my 20 squats before I went to bed last night & then I did my today's ones at about 1am, according to G. I thought when I woke up during the night that I'd get them done & dusted. I thought it was about 5am!
 
Played 18 holes of golf yesterday, after dropping a large trestle table on the back of my right calf. Long story- had to get there early& decided to do some tidying. I have a very large bruise, but it's ok. Played very ordinary golf, nice company, had the hungries all day, ate more than normal, slept about 9 hours, today is another day & so on. Off to the dentist this morning :(
Also did 30 squats in the morning yesterday.
Did 45 squats this morning.
 
Ouchie, sorry to hear about your calf! Oh, and the dentist, that's never a fun trip no matter what the reason. I'm way overdue on a cleaning, but I keep putting it off.
 
Hope your calf doesn´t blame you too much, but I love that you got up to do your squats in the middle of the night :D
 
Hi, Oaks & LaMa. I am booked in to see the dentist again in a couple of weeks for a couple of fillings. He's actually a lovely guy & I am relaxed seeing him.
My calf is not too bad really. I had a really hard big lump yesterday, but massaged it deeply & it's not lumpy today.
It's funny LaMa, but I think squats are now an everyday thing. I find myself doing them randomly during the day. They feel like a sort of more physical Tai Chi. My day does not feel complete without doing them. 1am was pretty funny, though!
I'm having a few days off fasting this week. I feel like a rest from it. I decided today that, because I am playing 18 holes of golf on Saturday & then again on Sunday I would skip my Friday fast. My world will not come to an end. I will fast on either Monday or Tuesday, depending on how hungry I am Monday morning.
 
Ooo, look at you cooperating with your body and being all relaxed about it!
Ooo, so I am! I felt like giving myself a break. I'm already looking forward to getting back into it again. I have been snacking on much dried fruit :blush5:
My legs are really aching, but I am not too badly bruised. I think massaging the big lump helped. A big weekend of golf is coming up so I hope they feel better in the morning. We share G's clubs when we play in a team, so I won't have to push a buggy around at least.

Also, I think it's smart for all of us to take a one day break from fasting/controlled diet/exercise. You've told me before to be kind to myself and the same should apply to you too. :]
 
Hi LaMa & Cory. My leg is ok. I'm a bit stiff & sore from my 18 holes of BAD golf yesterday & I'm off to play another 18 holes. I don't think I could play like I played yesterday even if I set out to do so. It was weird. I only had one good drive, 1 or 2 good shots from the fairway, but my putting was good. Golf is a crazy game. I was pulling to the left all the time & not going through with the ball. It was awful, truly awful! G & I would have to play like champions to end up doing well in these club championships! Surely I must play better!
Thanks Cory for reminding me to be kind to myself. I do forget & it should apply to all of us.
I am going to be kind to myself today . I'm out there playing golf. So many people are sitting on their fat bums doing nothing.
Did 42 squats this morning. Fast day tomorrow I think & back into it(unless I wake up ravenous & then it will be Tuesday)
 
I did play better yesterday & had a lovely day. Our score was not a lot better than Saturday's, but it felt it because I wasn't hitting the ball weirdly. The company was excellent & we had lots of laughs.
I'm doing a fast day today & will weigh in tomorrow. I'm a bit hungry, but it's bearable.
I'll ring an old friend today......not sure who......:)
 
Thanks LaMa. G & I had a fairly productive day yesterday. Got lots of tidying up done & lots of lazing in between.

Weight up 1kg, did 40 squats yesterday, haven't done today's yet, rang an old friend, have played 18 holes of golf already this week.
 
Had a bit of a crazy mixed up day today. It's not worth going over really. I felt like stuffing my face( & did, but stopped). I was very tired. At times, I felt really down. Other times I felt revved up. I'll just put it down as a day best forgotten.
 
I hope your leg is feeling better. You should really go with lighter furniture to drop on yourself. A beanbag or wicker ottoman would do nicely. ;)

Good job stopping mid face stuffing!
