Thank you every-one!!! I am absolutely thrilled to bits. I have not rung anyone to tell them. The response I get in here is enough for me. (& my LH's of course.

Day 6 of re-feed
Weight 69 kgs!
That was just in case you missed it earlier!
Today I added 90g(!) of old protein, 80g old vegies, 2 "good" fruit & could have had 2 slices of bread, but still eat 2 crackers (an increase in total carbs.) I instead decided to have 1 slice of bread & 5 crackers. 1 30g slice of bread = 3 crackers.
I had yoghurt & blueberries with some psyllium husks,for breakfast. 1 cracker mid-morning, 1 apple just before lunch.
Lunch I made another yummy salad, with 40g extra vegies. I cooked my chicken portion (+ 60g!) in olive-oil spray, garlic flakes, ginger, ground coriander & a little cumin & placed it warm, on top of the salad (on a "normal" sized plate) & with balsamic/ mayo dressing. Yummy!
Mid-afternoon I had an orange & 2 crackers as I was hungry! (go figure)
Dinner was a flavoursome mince dish (chop suey without the cabbage) with 30g extra mince & 40g extra vegies. I used silver-beet, mushroom, onion, celery (to add extra weight!) & some fresh coriander. I had all my spices (garlic flakes, curry powder, cumin, ground coriander seeds & ginger)& olive-oil spray in the fry-pan with everything weighed out & my LH cooked it for me while I watched "Gardening Australia." I had 1 piece of dry, boring toast to mop up the juice. I make a nice German 5 grain bread for my LH but we are not allowed grain bread on re-feed. It will be interesting to see if I get bloated again or have stomach pain tonight. I can't wait to try my home-made bread later. It smells so nice. I made a loaf of fruit bread today for LH & the aroma almost drove me crazy! I'll give it up if necessary though.
I haven't had a BM for 2&1/2 days either. I hate that. I had 2 Coloxyl (senna) last night, a Metamucil capsule this morning, psyllium husks with my yoghurt & another Metamucil at lunch-time!

Still nothing.... My consultant had warned me that constipation is a common side-effect of the program so I have taken steps along the way to help, including often eating an apple even though I know it always makes me feel hungry.
After dinner tonight (& I picked at it during the afternoon) I had the rest of my fruit allowance, incl. canteloupe. I actually prefer my "old" fruit choices, like kiwi fruit, oranges, apples (esp. Royal Gala) & honey dew melon but have to add the new "good" fruit as per the re-feed. I never thought this would happen either. Boy do your tastes change with this program!
I still have 2 crackers left! I forgot to ask if you have to eat all of the crackers(carbs) when the allowance is increased but I think you would, so will. (If you're with me!)
I keep looking at my re-feed program & trying to imagine adding more & more food & what it is going to look like on my plate. The funny thing is that I have not felt overly-full when I eat the extra amounts. Bread is the only thing that makes me feel at all uncomfortable. I know that if the bread I have at the moment (Helgas wholemeal) was my only choice I would def. never eat bread again!
I still feel really excited about being at goal weight. It is such an amazing feeling. It may go up again tomorrow or the next day..... but I will always know that I saw those magical figures! When I finish re-feed I will re-assess everything, including my goal, my "ticker," set some goals for the future etc.
I'll go for a quick wander (is there any such thing for me?) around the diaries & I'll be back tomorrow. Fingers crossed... xo Cate
