By not eating after 7 pm & going 12 hours without any food you will be doing your body lots of good. A lot of people do 16:8, instead of 5:2, but that means not having breakfast
every morning & only eating in an 8-hour "window", say 11-7, or 12-8. I would rather do 5:2 I think as I love breakfast & 2 days a week without is not such a hardship. It seems that a lot of people can lose weight consistently doing 16:8, without seriously restricting their calories. I find it all really interesting.I'll keep it in mind for later I think.
I'm spending more time online at the moment to distract myself.
I have done 20 squats & 5 km on my bike today & may do some more I think. I think I'll have a no sugar lemonade soon to trick my brain into thinking it's having a glass of wine.
Edit: Have put my calories in for the day & will come in at just under 500. Happy about that.
Had 3 small felafels, with 20g hummus(yummy!) & the rest of my soup & then 1.5 kiwi fruit. I feel pleasantly full.
I may not do another fast tomorrow as I think it would then be too long before I did another. I think they work better when you have a few days between each one anyway.
