Geez, an SSRNI too? Well, I hope that exercise and good food will work better for you this time around than the prescriptions. In fact, I'm almost sure they will!!! I'm rootin for ya, Casie!!! :hurray:

Glad to hear your happy to be getting of some the meds you've been taking. My friend got put on Cymbalta awhile back and she doesn't know if it's working for her... I dunno. She might have to look into something else she thinks... I've never really known about Seroquel but, if you think it's the culprit for the weight gain, then that will probably be nice to get off of it.

I was a running machine last week. No blisters really, just my legs got pretty stiff and sore after I put them thru a workout. I need to stretch more and not let them get like that. I want to run a bunch this week too... I like trying to run a 5k on the treadmill for now, I wish I could handle it outside in my usual running spot... I might try it but I think my allergies will be quick to remind me why I started running indoors again, lol...

Thanks Sam! Me too. My first night without Seroquel was tough---I went to bed at 10am, slept til 3am, and spent the rest of the night tossing and turning. Hopefully tonight will be better. Besides that, things are going really well. Still eating healthy...ate Subway and Taco Bell today but my calories are under 1800.

I'm looking for a new job...I am so sick of the people I work for! Wish me luck.

Glad to hear your doing great on your eating and getting in runs. I was lazier last night so I have to go make up for it at the gym tonight... New job hunting is rough. I think you will be fine though. Your really positive and I think that will help you out :) BTW, I had some Subway yesterday myself and it was pretty tasty.

Subway has awesome veggie subs...I love them! A footlong for under 500 cals...you can't beat that.

Still have been doing pretty well. I had 4 pieces of cheese pizza for dinner last night (I was starving and had eaten very little at work because some of my fruit was older than I thought) but I didn't eat anything else afterwards. I also ran yesterday, so I don't feel too bad about my pizza. Today has been healthy eating-wise, but I didn't exercise this morning. I'm indulging in a beer---now that I don't take Seroquel anymore it's pretty enjoyable! Sold lots of stuff on eBay this evening...can't wait to get all those payments in!

I'm watching the mens' indoor volleyball match....the Olympics features so many sports I love that aren't usually televised. This stuff is intense!

Gotta get to the grocery store soon...I'm eating all my fruits and veggies instead of tossing them out when they get old! What a great feeling.
 
Just sitting at work. It feels like my shorts are a little looser, but it could be my imagination. Either way, I don't really care. I didn't run this morning...just couldn't make myself get up at 6am and do it. I plan on doing Tae Bo when I get home and perhaps going for a run this evening.
 
Foot long veggie sub on whole wheat for lunch, with Baked chips and water...yum! I have no idea what will be for dinner...hopefully something nutritious and yummy. My boyfriend and I have gotta get groceries soon...we've got a fratboy fridge at the moment....condiments and beer!

I am now relaxing on the couch, watching Animal Planet, my belly full of whole wheat pasta (well, I wouldn't say full, lol). I love Friday evenings....I'm going for a run in about an hour or so.

Weekend has been a good one. Allergies bothered me yesterday but after some Alavert and Advil I felt fine.

I ran 2.5 miles this morning! I haven't done that in months! I'm really proud of myself. I only ran twice last week and indulged in quite a few goodies, so I'm going to behave myself this week! LOL.

Made about 20 bucks on eBay on a NASCAR shirt I wore once and an old pair of Abercrombie jeans! Life is good.

Did anyone catch the Women's Marathon on the Olympics last night? It was amazing! Those women are in INCREDIBLE shape.
 
I ran 2.5 miles again this morning! I feel really good. I completed the run without a struggle and I can't wait until I can go 3 miles! (Not for 2 weeks or so, though). Eating was good yesterday and I packed a healthy lunch today. Yipee!

:party: Glad you're feelin' it--I am too! Been a running fool lately, I really hope it'll help me lose the last few pounds.

Those women are in excellent shape but some of them need to eat more IMO....
 
Watching the Olympics makes me want to work out for 5 hours a day. But then I just decide to sit in front of the TV and watch a few more hours of Olympic action. :p
