Cardio while bulking?

I'd like to get some opinions on this- Should you run cardio when you're trying to bulk? I don't want to slow the process of building muscle with cardio (Plus I just don't like it that much :D ) so should I wait to do cardio for when I start cutting in the future?

It's not too bad for bulking. People do cardio to keep fit so that when they do cut, they won't be too out of shape. It's always good to keep your heart healthy. And when people bulk, they tend to gain a little bit of fat. Cardio makes an effort to minimize some of the fat gained. Just don't spend too many days on it. Perhaps 2-3 times a week is more than sufficient on a bulking diet.

i don't any cardio at all and haven't for yrs...i'm at 12 - 13% bodyfat now on a maitanence calorie food plan while ironing out some postural stuff i've accumulated over the yrs so u cood still stay lean if u keep your food right...going for those big, all all you can bulks only leave you with more fat to lose afterwards...i hate cardio too which is why i don't do it either

Stick to cardio once a week when bulking, but keep it moderate, between 60 and 70% is ideal, simply to keep your heart in check.

Yea, I agree with most of these posts. When I am bulking, or helping a client bulk, especially the less gifted when it comes to genetics....I stick to 2 cardio sessions per week and they last for only 15--20 minutes. I like HIIT.

I am not a fan of those who look like they are in fantastic shape b/c they eat clean and lift weights, yet can't run 20 yards without experiencing near heart failure.

If you are going to live this lifestyle, don't just embrace the looks, embrace the overall health.

I thought stamina was important in life...

without cardio, where would u get the stamina to work out? lol
speakin of which, your heart is really important, cardiovascular training helps it to stay healthy and top notch. like tuning a car every year =]

you can train your heart / cardio style if rest is kept short which is what i try to do mostly...i can't run distance for **** but i've done workoutw where i have done 18 sets in 18 mins for chest and back alternating
