I was there by 5:20. It was rough, but I got my workout in. I weighed in today at 379--not great, but that's another pound down.

Hey a 1lb is GOOD take one lb at a time and when we get 2-3 then thats great to lol! I would kill fpr a 1lb loss right now! Glad your cough is better nothing like trying to get a walk or workout in and getting chokded up this usually hit's me in the winter and I am out from exersicing 2-3 weeks grr!Have a nice sunday,by the way I started over to with a new diary a new me!Tammy
 
Running up the stairs is very cool!!

So are squats!! I was so scared of them, when I started this thing and I may be again very soon, but wow they sure pack in a power of good. The time I found I could stand straight up from sitting on the floor is indelibly imprinted for me, and I'm sure the squats were a big part of making that happen.

It's great to hear that you're getting rid of the last of that bug. Go Cannon!!
 
My trainer told me yesterday that one of her other clients told her that she noticed I was toning up and that she was going to tell me that next time she saw me. I felt pretty good about that. My friends aren't the best judges because they see me all the time and they know I'm trying to lose weight. I have only lost 4 pounds since June, but I do think I am in much better shape than I was in then and I think I am less flabby.

Geez, I'm sorry I didn't get to diaries today, but I couldn't get on the site until just now after trying all day. Did anybody else have problems?
 
I'm back. I'm up a few pounds because of the weekend, but I think I can get it off and then some by Friday. I worked out at 5:20 again today. Its hard to get up, but I'm glad I did it. Tomorrow I sleep in until 6:15 and Friday I'll be up at 5:00 again.

Lol I would rather be up a few lbs than QUITE a few lbs like I got myself into grrrr anyway easy come easy go they will be gone in No time!
Keep up those squats I swear they give ya great results,I am starting to add 15 a day into my routine until I can get up to 2-3 reps of 20-25.

I am doing 2 reps of 20, but for most of my time with the trainer I've been doing 3 of 20. There have been a few days when it was so hard to go up the stairs or even walk.
I wish it was muscle, but I pigged and vegged last weekend. I did get up at 5:00 to go work out this morning so I get a gold star for that. I haven't had any good beer lately. Some of my friends are going to Colorado this weekend for a big National Beer Celebration thing--They better bring something good back.

Thanks ladies :). I'm about to go to bed now (9:39?) so I can get up at 4:30. I need to work out tomorrow, make a quiz, and clean this place up. Hmm, better make it 4:15.
 
Had a rough food weekend so I'm going to really force myself back to the straight and narrow this week. Yesterday was the last session with my trainer. I'll miss her. I thought she was really good. I'm going off by my own for awhile and then I'll pick up with her again maybe on Christmas break. I have all the workout routines she gave me to do and I'm thinking of changing next week to going 4 days a week--up from my current 3. I was thinking 2 resistance, 1 aerobic, and 1 circuit training. So far today I've had cereal, an egg salad sandwich and a cookie. I think I can keep this as a very good day. Tomorrow I'll try and get another workout in. If I fail I'll go Wednesday at 5:00 AM. Hope everybody else is well. I'm stuck afterschool watching my kids write out the dictionary so I thought I'd make the most of it.

Try meal-planning, and mark off the calories after everything you eat--it's a pain the ass, but it's working for me! YAY!

Cannon,sorry about the bad food weekend,but we all have them (trust me) and we bounce back quicker,strronger,and more motivated each time!

If things get bad enough I will count calories, but I have a pretty good grasp on how many calories I'm eating by feel. I try to cut it under 2000

Today
Bowl of cereal with skim milk
Egg salad sanwich on whole wheat
Reece's Peanut Butter Cup
Chocolate Chip Cookie
Rib Eye Steak
Baked Potato
100 Calorie Pudding
Grapes

Tomorrow I need to put more veggies in there, but that's about 2000 calories give or take 5%. Not a bad food day today at least.
 
Today is the longest day I have ever taught. I have an absolutely dreadful homeroom. They are totally and completely beyond bad. Because of state auditors coming to check on our enrollment, our students were stuck in homeroom all day. I have another 2 hours and 15 minutes left with them when they get back in 20 minutes and I'm already more tired than if I had worked a normal day til 3. I just had 2 pieces of candy for all the wrong reasons. I do not know how I'm going to survive this afternoon. I had planned to work out today, but I think it may be another very early Wednesday morning instead.
 
That was total non-hunger eating. That was self-medicating with chocolate. The good thing is that I did stop at 2 pieces and I did make it through the day. I was going through the workout notes from what I've done with my trainer the last two months. I have decided that I'm going to go from working out 3 times a week to 4. Here's my plan:

Monday - Resistance Training
Wednesday - Circuit Training
Friday - Resistance Training
Sunday - Aerobic Training

There is some weight and some aerobic in each workout, but that's where the emphasis will be. I'm on day 2 of eating the way I should and now with an extra day of workout I think I can accomplish some of my fitness goals. I am definitely going to have to start getting to bed good and early. I have to be at school by 7:30 on Thursday leaving me only Saturday and Tuesday for anything resembling sleep.
