we are allowed to screw up every now and then, be it by accident or on purpose. we are human, screwing up is what we do. the important thing to remember is that overall health and fitness comes as a result of the average. are you on track more often than not? and to what degree? these are questions to ask yourself. so what if you screwed up 4 days, if those were the only 4 out of 2 months (60 days) then guess what, youre still averaging staying on track 93% of the time. in high school, 93% earns an A! lol.
focus on the small picture, meal by meal, when things are going well and youre sticking to it. think of the big picture, the grand scheme of things overall when things go bad and you need to get back on track. changing your perspective to suit your situation is a big part of staying motivated.
