I'm proud of myself. I called Casual Male and I stayed on the phone for 15 minutes with the Customer Service Representative. I was so polite, but also insistent and totally in control. That always freaks people out. I simply asked for the records of the times they have been trying to contact me recently. Finally, exasperated the guy told me, "I'm sorry nothing can be done about it. This is what they told you when they called on May 5th." I told him, "What will they say when I call tomorrow? I am a school teacher who is home before 5PM most days and I have no intention on giving up on this before my good name is cleared." There's a very long pause and the guy says, "uhm...can I put you on hold a minute." A few minutes later he explains that because I am such a good customer the delinguincies will be removed. They're not out of the woods. I have credit monitoring and I'll be checking every few days. If I don't see anything they get a call that day. Its hard to beat a bureacracy, but I certainly am proud of myself.
