Well I'm only on the diet for 2 weeks tops at least. The problem is raw fruits and veggies and things with speed and spice and whole grains are out which makes it harder to diet in some ways. It makes it darn hard to get enough servings of fruits and veggies.
 
That's the 2nd time this week i heard 'Be kind to yourself'...

Hey Cannon! Haven't talked to you in a while! Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well, I hope this message finds you feeling better. That diet does sound rough, out of curiousity, what they heck ARE you eating? I couldn't think of a single thing to eat that didn't fall in one of those categories...maybe I'm just slow today. :p Afterall, I didn't have any coffee...yet and I'm nursing this cup of green tea. :D
 
Eeek - that would be hard to get enough vegies & fruit - not to mention fiber.

I hope you get past all this quickly!

Yikes, the diet sounds rough!! Hope it helps clear up the cold though, just misserable. Thankfully mine is making a steady retreat. Feel better soon!!!:D:D
 
My whole family has poor immune systems and I know its not the result of a poor diet or lack of sleep. I can put up with this diet for a week or two if necessary to stop this cough. I am taking a dietary supplement to boost my immune system and it has a lot of the good vitamins I'm missing. Currently my diet consists of meat, cooked veggies, sandwiches for lunch, and Lean Pockets for breakfast. I am drinking a ton of water too. I am able to do what it takes to limit my calories enough to start losing my holiday weight again, but I actually am looking forward to eating healthier again soon.

I decided that regretfully it is time to move those tickers. The good news is I'm down about 7 pounds this week already since Sunday when I made a concentrated effort to start eating right. The bad news is that I did get as high as 419.2 pounds. I took today off to try and take better care of myself and kick this cold out once and for all. I think its getting better, but I want it gone now.

It's amazing how much we can do when we're focusing :)

I thought I posted in here last night. Anyway, I am getting really close to that 407.6 number I was at before things went haywire. I don't mind the delay in losing weight since I am in this for the long haul, but I really want to be past my low weight ASAP. It'll give me a real sense of accomplishment. I'm going back to work in...oh about a minute, but I don't feel like I'm completely better. I do think I am a little better though. The cough doesn't seem nearly as deep. Thanks for all the support people. I really think forcing myself to find the time to post here and read other posts is an important part of my lifestyle change that I had been very poor about over the last month or so. This forum reminds me of what I'm doing and why.
 
*shakes pom poms* Very glad to hear/read that you're getting better, you have to take time for you my friend, you simply do. As for your weight, sounds like things are back on track and that's ALWAYS a great thing!

With a big loss like 7lbs you'll be back to your low weight in no time, then before you know it you'll be in the 300s!!!! :)
