Cannon's Journal

Hi Cannon,
Welcome home!!

Are you done traveling for awhile?
Good job on sticking to your plan while away :D

I'm done travelling for the year. I may have to renounce my membership in the FSD for this, but I decided to weigh myself when I woke up this morning. I came in at 438.6 :). This is less than I weighed when I left for my trip. I know I did a few smart things, but I did eat cake and a lot of chips. I did try and watch what I ate for lunch and for dinner and we stayed at the Embassy Suites where there is free breakfast. Every morning I had an onion and mushroom omelette, a small orange juice, a scoop of potatoes O'brien, and sometimes a blueberry muffin. I am so thrilled to see my summer goal so close. I will change my tracker Friday and I will be catching up with everybody else's diary today when I get a chance.

I can't wait to change my ticker. All I can think about is, "I have less than 10 pounds for my summer goal." I will soon need new clothes because what I have is getting way too big - especially pants.

Woo Hooo!!
Cannon, that is GREAT! It's so nice to know we can go away and come back under when we've left! That is very COOL!

And yes, your summer goal is right around the corner! As I get close to each of my mini goals, I can't help but remember how helpless I felt when I first started losing. When I looked at that BIG number of calories that had to be lost, all I could think of was "NO WAY!" That's impossible - I can't lose that much!

But we can - we do it one pound at a time and reaching these mini goals are a great reminder of the progress that IS being made!

Yay for losing weight on vacation!!!! That can be an obstacle but you did GREEEEEAAAAATTTTT!!!!

You will totally make your summer goal. And yay for new pants too! That's always fun!!

Have a great one!

I really am nervous about tomorrow. Its only for a workshop, but I'll be going back to school. This 2 months of dieting has been great and nothing has been able to shake me, but now I face my greatest challenge - stress. This year promises to be very difficult as we really will have a lot of things up in the air. If there is one thing capable of doing me in, its stress. I'm going to overcome it like I've overcome so many other things, but I must admit stress has me stressing out a little

Fat Guy Tri - I am having an exceptional week so far. I have managed to get right back on the wagon and my mini-goal is so very close.

Manaola - LOL, I like him already.

I think if Jarrod is going to be doing Subway commercials I'll have to do commercials for Chinese food. I've eaten so much Chicken Chowmein since this diet began and I'm still losing the weight.

LOL when some Chinese restraunt makes a commercial claiming their food can be used for weight-loss, that's the day that I become a hermit and stop participating in society :D I remember when KFC tried to make themselves into health food, that was just retarded.

But hey, if the chow mein works for you, go hard at it! Just don't try and convince the rest of us ;)

My big money making scheme was to kill Jarrod's career. I'd eat a McDonald's salad for lunch and a Quarter Pounder with Cheese for dinner. That'd give me about 1300 calories for the day and I'd lose a lot of weight. McDonalds would probably never do commercials, but they'd pay me to counteract Supersize Me.

YAY!!!! Congrats on your Summer goal... Keep it up and Don't give up. I with you on the Fast foods. As long as you make the healthy choices and not to much dressings, mayo, ketchup and etc.. You'll be alright.

Have a GREAt Day and drink that WATER:D

I actually have mostly avoided the fast foods and eating McDonalds for a year would be torture, but might be worth it if it killed Jarod's career. The one fast food thing I have done is 2 hamburgers from Burger King. Its when I want something in a hurry.

cannon congrats on the goal. I really should set short term goals but with so much to loose i just never did. Burger king and the like aren't so bad really. Its just a matter of the single burger rather the triple side of beef on a bun lol. I go in once in awhile for a single whopper without cheese and with mustard and its not that bad unless i add the fries and bucket of coke lol. It all comes down to choices and even with your travels as of late you seem to make the right ones. Vacations are hard in general and I think you have done great...
