Congratulations on your one year anniversary Cannon. Having that downward trend happening on your graph for a whole year is an achievement in itself. In real life that is a most rare thing. Even in my own single life, I've managed more than thirty starts and never yet made it to one year.

An interesting weekend you had! I guess now you are celebrating the anniversary day with your best friends instead of your old friends!! Experiencing the better way of eating as more pleasurable than the other may not totally deafen us to that other siren song, but it sure has a lot going for it.
 
I was a bit disapointed. Yesterday I walked 3 miles and ate very well, but I didn't drop any of the extra weight I put on over the last few days. I'll be hitting diaries in a few. I'm only only to kill time while my clothes dry.
 
Hi Cannon, sorry the weight didn't drop after yesterday, but as we all know, the scales don't always cooperate in the way they're supposed to. I know that if you keep on that track, though, eventually they'll budge.
 
Hey you - sometimes it takes me weeks to get off my sldium bad eating weight...Im up a fair amount and I am guessing it is sodium - up like 7 lbs around there - Ive been eatign out a fair amount lately but my weight sky rocketed yesturday for some reasona nd I ate really well except for the pub food int he evening - so I dunno what is going on with me but it is disappointing - time to buckle down agian...

I do feel good inside. There has been a lot of stress in my life and bit by bit its going away. I think that's the perfect state of mind to be in for any lifechanging.
 
It sure is. If we didn't have to work and we all lived on a retreat in Hawaii we probably would all be slim and fit and happy. Well, we WILL ANYWAY despite the odds, right?!?!

I know it can be really disappointing when you expect a drop and don't see one. I didn't get one today, either, but that's due to the daiquiri this weekend, I'm sure. Just keep going like you have been! Your weight loss is an inspiration to me.
 
Sometimes we need to let the scale rest and recuperate so it can be nice to us again....:p I am sure you'll manage well rest of the week and see amazing numbers soon. It's probably deciding whether to give u a discount....hope yr day went well.
 
That's funny, a discount. Hey Cannon, its nice to see you posting lots. I'm with DQ, only keeping an eye on calories. Good for you for making the effort to watch fibre. I haven't wanted to eat my veggies lately either, opting for fruit but tonight I ate steamed cabbage and cauliflower. Oh oh, look out.
 
OK I dropped about 3 pounds this morning. I'm done looking at the scale for awhile, but I needed to know what I was doing was working. I have a lot to do this morning and probably won't get to diaries until the afternoon. Yes, I am posting lots more. Its a luxury that I intend to take advantage of for the next few months.

I finally got through to the gym. I'm glad I didn't just go over there. My first meeting is Tuesday at 12:30 which will take care of some of the indoctrination stuff. I still have some questions. I definitely want to make sure I can get a licensed personal trainer.
 
No time for diaries today, but I will be hitting them early tomorrow morning. I'm happy to have the gym thing worked out at least :)
 
Congrats on dropping 3 lbs, Cannon! Glad to hear you're hitting the gym. I agree with Mal - write down yours questions and concerns. It's way too easy to get distracted and forget the things you intended to ask.
