I'd like to know how that happens, too. It's been happening to me this past week, up 4lbs in one day, down 2, then up 5 more. Quite puzzling.

I just chug a lug water like crazy and eat as normal and good as I can - like normal...Ive had that happen - I will eat a few things higher in sodium and sky rocket my weight by like 5 lbs...but gettin my water in helps alot...congrats on the walking :):):) I realized t hat I walked 6 days a week last week - I was surprized adn happy but it isnt enough fo rme
 
I'm sure it is sodium related, but I just expected it out of my system faster. I really have been pretty good this week. I got my walk in tonight. I didn't want to, but I was too scared to start a habit of not going so after a day off I wouldn't miss it for the world. The computer is no better, but I'm at least visiting some diaries tonight.

Congrats on getting your walk in,it is so easy to
fall back into old ways.Sorry about your 6lb gain,I actually gain
5-6 lbs everytime I fall of for a weekend,it seems like it takes
3 weeks to lose 6 lbs and 3 days to gain it but thats all thanks to the
wrong food choices but with you only going over by 5-600 cals coukld
be just retaing water which leads to the whole sodium therory anyway
don't let it getcha down ,it will be gone before you know it,have a great night

It was pouring so no walking this morning for me I'm afraid. I was up early enough at least. I may give it another shot in the afternoon.
 
its my aerobic workout for the morning :) after i grumped elsewhere about getting splashed by a taxicab who aimed for a puddle this morning :)

I love walking in the rain - as long as I can change soon after -and have something to dry my glasses off with :D

Ive walked in the rain a few times...I dont mind it if it is mild...but I cant walk with the little one in the rain if it is raining too hard...If it was just me I prob would walk in the rain more...

Well, sorry about the rain getting in the way of walking. this morning I went for a run in the woods and realized that there is a sign:

WARNING: COUGARS

and the whole time I was looking over my shoulder, worried because at 6:30am a cougar is more likely going to be around than 5:30pm, methinks--dunno exactly, but no one else was around....

I will melt I'm afraid, but I have been working pretty hard at least. They want everything in our rooms packed away by May 1st. Not sure what we're supposed to do with those kids who keep showing up for my class until June 13th. I carried lots of heavy boxes up and down stairs.
 
So from May 1st until June 13th the classroom is bare? Yeah, what DO they think of those kids still showing up???

Crazy stuff!
 
Just stopping by to say HI!! Yeah, the rain has derailed my outdoors walking also! Yuck, wet tennis shoes! Remember, lift with your legs, LOL :D
 
I'm here bright and early to pack up more stuff. Today the school finds out of the parents were able to stop the year round schedule so it may be pretty tense today. The rain didn't go anywhere. I will find a way to get my walk in this afternoon and I'm going to try and get caught up on diaries today. You understand when summer vacation comes I'm going to be such a pest in all your diaries.
