Hi Cannon; last night I had a junk food temptation and one of my sons even said "mom, goin' to the store do you want anything?" (play Psycho music here)...
...and I said "no thank you". I watched this awesome movie with Judi Dench and Cate Blanchette called Notes on a Scandal and didn't have one little snack after supper.

So here's to moderation on Saturday! I'm with ya on that one!

It's still too early for me to walk - the birds are JUST starting to make noise ;)

First, I dropped a pound since my Friday weigh in and it occurred to me that Thursday I was at a bar and though I behaved I probably had 4 large diet sodas. Since I had not soda yesterday, that may be a more legit weight. Fingers crossed. The weekend is tough for me. Especially Saturday night. However, I was really good yesterday and Sunday is one of my best days in the week. I just have to make sure I behave tonight. I'll go walk in about 45 minutes. I have a routine on Saturdays. I go get gas, walk, and then stop for a low calorie lunch as a treat on the way back. It'll either be a 6 inch roast chicken from subway, a skinny turkey from potbellies, or a salad from portillos. Nothing that'd really hurt my diet. I just started the routine back when getting myself to walk on the weekend was like pulling teeth and I'm sticking with it.
 
Woohoo for a routine t hat makes you exercise...LOL...my weekends are usually my worse as well - however I have been working hard at making them better - I usually exercise a fair amount and watch what I eat I am more aware now...You can do t his Cannon and you will - Ive been dealign with a fair amount emotionally as you know so waht has been working for me is telling myself Ive come to far to turn around now adn run my progress...somethign liek that might work for you for those saturday nights...
 
It sounds like you have more than one routine to help your progress. Another pound would be nice too :) I foresee a good weekend for you!
 
Man, my neighbor was having a fight with her boyfriend at 2AM. He kept pounding on the door to get in. It wasn't violent just loud and they eventually talked out their problems, but I wound up getting back to sleep at 3AM. Its a really lazy day and I'm tired, but I better get my butt in gear. Hope everybody else is doing OK. My computer problems are also back unfortunately. I hate to reinstall, but it may be my only choice.

Glad you are keeping the walking routine up!!! The weight will come off much more easily if you do it. Also, watch your soda intake, lots of sodium in them!!! You are doing great!!! Thanks for stopping by my diary!!
 
reinstalls work wonders for computers.

Bugger about the neighbours though. I have sport loving neighbours who yell at all hours lol. Ive learnt to tune them out - at least it only goes for an hour max.
 
Cannon, I feel for ya! I had to reinstall every program I have a couple of weeks ago - about 150 of them. Arrggghhh! Hope you had a nice weekend otherwise, though.
 
Hi Cannon...weekends are hard for me, too. I am so regimented with my eating during the week..being at work...following my schedule M-F....then boom, the weekend arrives and everything is different! Get up later...eat at different times, social activities...working in a workout time....drink all of my water (THAT is the hardest for me on the weekend!!)

But sounds like you had a handle on it...and you dropped a pound too! yay!
 
So the computer is very sporadic at work this week because of construction to the computer lab and the one at home is annoying me so I haven't been able to post much. I took today as my walk rest day. I didn't want to, but I'm lazy, I have a lot to do and its starting to look like rain. As long as I force myself to get in a walk Wednesday, it won't be too bad. I just went back through my diary and noticed I've been walking 6 days a week since March 22nd. I feel rather proud of that. I will get to those other diaries ASAP. I hope everybody is well.
 
Well my weight went way up on Saturday night and I'm not sure why. I ate about an extra 500-600 calories w/ salt and I know I drank 4 diet sodas. On Sunday I was up about 6 pounds from where I had been Saturday morning and 5 pounds from where I had been Friday. I figured that it was mostly salt, but I have now lost 2 of that extra 6 pounds. I'm open to any theories. It is puzzling me.
