Yay! Another 2 pounds this week!
Worked out five times this week, ate well, and drank my water.
I think I am finally on track with this thing! I feel that I have set myself up for success with a couple of things.
I have a sweet tooth but I actually made it through that TOM (this past week) without eating chocolate from the school's vending machine! woo hoo
I have bought some of those thinsations, oreo cookie 100 calorie snack packs. I only bring one to work with me a day so I don't eat six of them in one sitting.
I also make myself low cal jello with ultra low fat cool whip. That's a nice treat with my lunch and only runs about 25 calories!
Another little treat is the Slim Fast Peanut butter crunch bars. They are sooo yummy. I think they are a little higher in caloreis, but near as much as a real chocolate bar.
Anyway... a couple of concerns that I would love some help with...
1. Now that winter is coming, what do people have in mind for fruit/veggies? I am not a big fan of apples or bananas, and I am sad to say good bye to the lovely berries, pineapples, peaches, etc. that come with the summer season. I have thought of frozen or canned fruits. Are they still as good for you, (if they are not in concentrated fruit juice?)
2. Any thoughts on veggie dishes that are good and tasty?
3. I am working out on an elliptical trainer. I hear from others that they are working out for 30-40 minutes and burning 400-600 calories. I have been doing 70 minutes at a high intensity and high heart rate, and mine tells me that I am only burning 500 calories in that time. How accurate do you think these home units are? It's a fairly nice unit, not a $5000 like at the gym but it is a good one. How can I find out, how much I am burning?
Anyway hope everyone is having a good week!?
Thanks for your continued support!
