Camy's diary

Iam so sorry your parents are like that to you! well done you on getting to a size 8! thats great! Keep it up!

oh wow! that soo cool! i had something similar happen today, i tried on a pair of pants that i bought ages ago as a goal pants, and they fit :D:D:D They are size 10 NZ, thats a US 6 or UK 8. Thats pretty much my goal size, but again like you, the size is a larger sizing 10 so i want to be a full 10. (and yah im pretty muscular, i dont think id get too much smaller lol)

its such a great buzz though to do it isnt it?

Seems to be another very calm day here, I am going to the movie's with my mom in the evening (we had a small fight yesterday evening... as usual she tells me I am a liar and make her feel bad, yadayadayada...) and other than that we are just sitting around. May play some Wii with my brother. Oh yeah both my siblings have lice (they are very common in argentina where my family had just been 2 weeks ago) and I am pretty sure I got them too. My head itches. UNfortunately for everyone my hair is long... it goes down to my waist, so getting rid of the lice is highly uncomfortable!

Anyhow, I have lost 2 pounds (I think those scales are terrible, but in any case it has gone down a bit) and now I am more than halfway there! Yeeeeeeehawwwwwww!
I am more than happy! I might wear my new supertight pants today to wear them in...

Food of the day:
Breakfast: 2 yoghurt coated ricecakes (150 cals), 200 ml of ACE juice
Midmorning snack: the other 1/2 of the snickers bar (for some reason here the almond snicker bars have 230 cals and in London the peanut snicker bars have 330 cals)
Lunch: 2 small pieces of pork and a big salad, 1 orange
Dinner: tapas (some bacon, some pork, some chorizo, some potatoes, a tad of egg...), 1 orange

Hi Camy,
I'm sorry your parents have been like that. It's really quite sad. Just keep in mind that it's them and not you that's the problem. You are only human and can only do so much. Some people are just very self absorbed and expect unreasonable things from others. Don't let it get you down, or make you feel bad about yourself. You sound like a great person who has accomplished a lot in your life so far. Imo, you have much to be proud of. :) I can't even imagine how hard med school must be.

Off to go check out your B/A pics. :)

Thanks BB (and of course Liz and Kelli), you are right they are a bit of a pain, and I am glad I have decided to never live near them anymore. They are lovely people to meet for like 2 or 3 days at a time.

Today I will probably walk my 5 km to town and back, maybe even venture into deep deep town to get a few Cds and stuff. If the weather was nice enough I would walk back, but it is like 10 k or more, so the weather needs to be good and I need to have enough time.

I haven't had a single one of the daily meals yet, so I will update later. I am itching to go home to London and go back to the gym or running! I really want to get rid of those "last" 19 pounds now! I am really enjoying this and I don't know what I will spend all my time on once I have lost the weight and do not need to keep this diary, but at the same time I really want to see what it looks like. Last time I was 120 I was around 12 or 13 (or maybe 14)... so I don't know how I look as an adult at that weight.

Ok food of the day update:

Lunch: courgette and 1 egg omelette, green salad with avocado
Snack: some octopus (cold from a tin)
Dinner: fish, veggies and green salad

Exercise:
5 k to shopping and back

that octopuss sounds really interesting as ive never heard about octopuss that you can get in a tin, ive only had the chinese deep fried one! well done on walking 5k to and from the shops! hope all is going well with the parents!

No time for much, so just food (no exercise really today, other than food shopping which does not count).
Breakfast: 1 banana, 1 apple, 200 ml of ACE juice
Lunch: massive salad, a bit of meat stew (red peppers, small mushrooms and meat)
Snack: 1 small square of chocolate
Dinner: tapas (we had squid, octopus and potatoes... not too filling but yummy), 1 slice of melon

squid, octopus and .... EWWWWW!!!! :O

Some things should be high calorie just so i dont have to read about people eating them! lol. That would include anything slimey and smelly!

I love squid and octopus! Squid is probably my favourite food! Yumyum!

Anyhow I am tired for no reason...
Food of the day:

Breakfast: nothing woke up too late, a glass of light ice tea
Lunch: grilled chicken, massive salad
Snack: I made a trifle out of strawberries, cream and meringue (it is my dad's birthday and they are having cake, so I made that instead for me)
Dinner: steak and salad

Camy

hay there camy ive been feeling the same as you but luckly its passed now, maybe to feel a little better you could take a vitamin tablet or something dont worry it will pass and your be feeling yourself again in a few days

how is trifle out of strawberries, cream and meringue better than cake? lol :D

Sounds yummier though!

Back in London and I put on 4 pounds at home... grrrr... that is why I don't go home often! So now I need to change my ticker back, and work out! Let's see if that thyroid medication needs some help ;)

Food for yesterday:
Breakfast: 1 kiwi, 1 peach, 200 ml of ACE juice
Lunch: massive salad
Snack: some more of the trifle (and I completely blame the trifle for what happened!)
Dinner: cod, salad

Today I am going to go to the gym and then swim 20 lanes. I have a new abs routine that will help me on my way to "steel" abs, and I will try to follow that routine everyday! At least once every day... I think saying twice a day is lying through my teeth because I will most probably not even manage to get it done every day!
Camy

bugger about the 4lb, same thing happened to me whilst i was maintaining, i found most of it came off easy enough though. My ticker never goes back, only down, never up. If it stays the same for a while then my weight is staying the same or its gone up slightly and its on its way back down lol :D

Sorry to hear about you putting on 4lbs dont worry to much about them as i know once you get into your routine again they will be off in no time! where abouts do you parents live? iam on the south coast :)

Food of the day (it was cholesterol day for me!):
Breakfast: 7 strawberries, 1 banana, 200 ml of calcium fortified OJ
Lunch: 1 spanish omelette (226 cals)
Dinner: eggs and ham, but really eggs and bacon, with chips with some mayonaise, a few pringles

The man locked me into his flat by accident and by the time he could come and free me it was already 5 and I had to go and meet up with some friends. So no exercise.Oh well, tomorrow is another day!
