So these past few months ive lost a lot of weight, but my legs are still big.. this is mainly due to not working on them. basically i have large calves, my thighs are toned due to squats and such but its my gastrocs (calves) that I am pissed off about lol.
I just naturally have large gastrocs and I want to tone them. When im not standing, the gastroc muscle hangs from my leg.. its really flabby and huge lol.
I basically started to do calf raises this week and some jump rope. I am guessing that in order to tone, I do lots of reps with only my bodyweight right? because I dont want to get them any bigger so I dont want to pack on the weight.
Right now im doing 3 sets of 20 (one leg at a time) calf raises, every other day. is this good? Am i suppoesd to do one leg or both legs at a time?
I know it will be weeks before I see results, I knwo this from losing weight.. just wondering if any of you have any pointers? When I wear slim jeans I can see my gastroc.. its ridiculous.
