I'm up too, but it will go again soon. I'm glad you're able to exercise more & are enjoying your new fitness games. They would be fun :)
 
Thank you both! I lost 0.9 lbs so it's almost gone. I exercised a lot today but didn't sweat or feel it after, not sure if that means I'm not doing enough? Had me doing a beginner's workout but it almost felt too beginner for me. May have to bump up the intensity levels on all the games a little. Already bumped it up for on one game for next time.

My med adjustment seems to be working somewhat and no weight gain so I'm happy about that.
 
Not being sore afterwards is not a bad sign, especially if you´re just getting started on something new and you have health issue in other areas. As long as it´s strenuous enough to be fun you´re good. Good to hear you´re starting to feel the benefit of your meds!
 
Hey Butterfly - just read a little of your diary, what happened with that friend in the end? Sounds like bad news.. Happy birthday for the week before last :) xx

That's true Lama, I guess I shouldn't overdo it since I have vertigo.

I haven't seen my friend since then but I gather she will want to get together soon, I have yet to figure out how to handle it, but I know ignoring it forever is not going to help the situation. It was a good birthday.
Actually saw my cousin for a late birthday dinner the other day. I thought I'd be cheating when I ordered fried eggplant but it wasn't even breaded, I'm not even sure they did fry it. It was good though, and is actually probably something I can order again even when I'm trying to be good. They really should just call it eggplant, not fried eggplant.

That's what I'll do, continue to make the games harder little by little.

Thank you Hana and Brawny! Worked out yesterday, burned about 90 calories. Did eat a bit too much though. Went food shopping and although I did buy a little bit of junk food I passed on the ice cream and chips. So not perfect but I'm getting there.

It's just after 1 PM and so far today I've consumed 1,270 calories today, which is a bit much. Hoping to stay under 2,610 calories today (that's weight maintenance for me) and do better tomorrow. Chicken and vegetable fried rice is on the dinner menu tonight, which is probably not the best but I'll make sure I go light on the oil and certainly will avoid breading and deep frying. I'm seeing my friend this afternoon so I should be busy so hopefully no time to eat out of boredom.
 
Very disappointing weigh-in this morning, 298.3 lbs, that's a gain of over 4 pounds in 6 days. It's not like I haven't been exercising, I exercised enough to cause minor back pain for the past 2 days. Maybe I overate a little but 4 lbs in 6 days?!? I got weighed first thing this morning too and I've heard in the morning people are lighter. I hope the weight gain isn't from my upped dose of medication, I'd hate to have to lower it since it is working. I really don't want to hit 300 lbs and I'm pretty close so I need to do something. I guess I'll do a lower body workout today, to not over-strain my back. I'll probably have eggs for breakfast, try not to have any morning snacks, I'm not sure what's in the house for the rest of the day.

:D I like that... We set the clock back last weekend. I´m still waking up too early but it´s much better than in (our) spring. Don´t worry about those extra pounds; if you exercised so much the past few days your muscles are most likely holding on to some water.
 
I would have to set my scale forward 10 lbs, as it's our Spring! eek!

I've been eating a lot but less sugar and it resulted in a 1.1 lb loss. I've fell off the wagon of exercising, I'll get back on. Med change is still working. Going to a new Italian market today, maybe they will have some different healthy food, I'm getting sick of the same old stuff.
