Hi honey, it's nice to have you back. I hope the benefits of the switch to your meds kicks in soon & the side effects diminish. Trying to eat as healthy as you can is a very good idea & even just going for a walk will help. Take care, xoxo

I kind of goofed last night, had a jelly doughnut. The good news is I didn't enjoy it that much though, so I don't think I'll have any desire to buy any more.

I'm glad you didn't enjoy it much. Hold that memory :D
Today is another day. GO TEAM WLF !

I’ll try my best Cate.

4/10/16

Breakfast:

Spinach and diary free cheese omelet

Snack:

Glass of unsweetened almond milk (only 30 calories!)

Lunch:

Tofu scramble burrito

Snacks:

Applesauce

Kettlecorn (not as much as I usually eat)

A few French fries (very few)

Packet of chocolate hazelnut butter

Dinner-

Tempeh and vegetables with teriyaki sauce

Snack-

2 servings of pudding :(

Other- throughout the day I had about ¾ of a bar of chocolate. :( My mom bought it for me as a treat. I really wish she hadn’t. Once it’s in the house I can’t help but eat it. I wouldn’t have bought it myself.

Exercise- none

Too much sugar today. Can't be good for my insulin resistance. I should be taking glucose readings I suppose, maybe that will motivate me. Especially now that I'm recently off the med to help the glucose, I should be more careful, I don't want to screw things up. Pudding was in the house from when my stomach was funny. I won’t buy any more. Mom said she thinks I've been eating too much pudding, I have to agree. Why she buys chocolate if she says that, I don't know, but anyway. I think I ate less in quantity than normal but more junk food. So it may even out but I know I need to step it up if I want to lose any serious weight.

Tomorrow’s goal- Lift weights and don’t buy pop tarts or sweetened soymilk at college (they are so tempting). To achieve the no poptarts goal, I will try to remember too much gluten bothers my stomach, so I shouldn’t be eating poptarts for that reason either. I’ll be packing a healthy lunch and I hope to only eat that.

Your actual food sounds lovely! Are your portions large enough to stop you from getting hungry in between?

Yes. Though I feel I should have something else with the omelettes. I have a habit of stress eating, sometimes even when I'm not hungry, but I'm working on it.

I think most of us do. There's also boredom eating & tired eating(me today)! We all have to work on it. We can do this!

Thank you everyone!

I haven't been eating quite as much junk food, and I've been having smaller servings of kettlecorn. I am guilty of not exercising though.

4/15/16

Breakfast-

spinach and dairy-free cheese omelet

Lunch-

tofu scramble burrito

Snacks-

3.5 servings pea crisps

Single serving packet of chocolate hazelnut butter

Dinner-

Organic hotdog with ketchup

Kale burger

Snacks-

Kettlecorn

25 calorie fruit water

California veggie burger

Exercise- none

Was a busy day, didn’t really get a chance to exercise. The veggie burgers I buy are all between 100 and 120 calories each, which isn’t bad considering I’ve seen some with 200+ calories. A little overboard on the serving size of the kettlecorn and I probably should have had less than 3.5 servings of pea snaps, but I think I’m getting better.

Those snacks look more like real food, which is an improvement regardless of the calories! Yay for improvement :)

I think the improvement is the most important part. As long as you're genuinely trying, I don't think there's anything to feel bad about.

Yeah, I guess I am improving. Thanks guys.

Interesting. Not sure if that´s true; I thought the bags were inflated with nitrogen gas to cushion the leaves and prevent the edges from browning.
