Breakfast-
Protein shake

Snack-
Pear

Lunch-
Gluten-free tuna fish sandwich

Snacks-
Kettlecorn
Non-dairy cheese
Non-dairy ice cream sandwich

Exercise- none, I usually exercise at night (my vertigo is better then for some reason) but I feel asleep at 7 and slept through the night.

Unfortunately I found a box of ice cream sandwiches stuffed in the back of the freezer and couldn’t help myself. I won’t buy anymore.

I have to do the same & not buy certain things. Your day overall does not look high in calories as it looks like you only had 2 meals, but something more nutritious is obviously better.

Oh I did have dinner, I must have forgotten to write it in.

You don´t gain any weight (except water) from eating crap one day. Just keep your focus on the long term, you´ve got this!

Thank you both for your support.

1/4/15

Peanut butter cereal

Dinner-
Organic hotdog with ketchup
½ a gluten free dairy free personal pizza

Definitely going to start working out again and not buy and any more candycanes. Also think I had too large a serving of peanut butter cereal, I’ll have less next time. The cheddar popcorn is higher in fat than I realized (11 grams per serving) so I may cut that out too.

I think its crazy how on little ingredient can make some thing change its fat or cal count so much that its unreal. I went a long time being blind at how similar food have such varying facts. Blows my mind completely. But they are so YUMMY!..

It really is amazing, sometimes it's hard to know what is healthy, that's why I've been reading nutrition labels.

Labels are crazy things, I grew up reading them because of allergies and I´m sometimes bowled over by how little people know about what they put into their mouths. Good job getting food-wise!

Great work hon, you are killing it! Also: thanks for the reminder, I´ll take some carrots along for my hummus as well :)

Thank you, it’s good to not be alone on this journey. I try to keep it to tasty healthy food, if I enjoy what I’m eating I’m less likely to eat junk food.

1/7/15

A little bit of peanut butter cereal (I didn’t overdo it this time!)

No exercise but I think I had a very good food day. Saw my endocrinologist, she was pleased that I lost weight, especially since she was worried the new med she put me on a few months ago was going to make me gain weight, but I lost instead!

Thank you!

Scale says I lost another 2 pounds. Can that be, 2 pounds off in a few days? It’s not like I’m doing intense workouts. I hope my scale is accurate. If it is, I’ve met my first weight loss goal, to be under 290 pounds. I was 298.5 at my highest weight. Still a long way to go but I won’t give up.

Yep, that can definitely be. No guarantee that it´s all pure fat but right now the most important thing is really that you are giving your body nourishment and support instead of... whatever it is we give our bodies when we mess up diet and exercise. Pity, perhaps. So congratulations on doing it right and losing another 2 pounds!
