You're at an interesting point where it becomes a sort of guessing game as to at what point you think it's time to start eating what you want to be a 'normal' amount going forward once you're in maintenance.

You're absolutely right that it's as much about how you want to look as opposed to a number on the scale, which I think is fine. With the right workouts and lifestyle, you could also change aspects of your body shape without actually losing any weight as well. So at some point in the reasonably near future it becomes less about calorie restriction and more about strength and fitness training.

Ya, the lucky thing is that I am so naturally muscular so I won't, I don't think, look skinny fat anytime soon, and I work a physical job and physical hobby, but I would like to get back to the gym 3-4 days a week to weight lift. Maybe once I move to the barn closer to home I will have more time and hootsba to get there.
Did well today. Was about 21 calories over my 1500 goal. I still have a good bit of weight to lose. I think I may want to rethink my eating when I get like 5-7 pounds from my goal (if I think I am close to looking how I want.)

salmon and cream cheese and potato actually sounds very appealing right now..i m on the munch big time.....lol
once i made a potato soup we had to throw out...i felt so bad...but some things just cant go down.

Stayed under 1500 calories today. Loving riding my boy even though he isn't quite 100% yet. Really hoping he gets there quick so we can start cantering and then jumping!
Approaching ToM, and so holding a bit of water weight and feeling slightly bloated today. Hoping that passes so I get an accurate weigh in on Friday.

Had a good day today. Was within my 1500 calories, and quite low on sodium, so if my ToM allows I gave myself the best chance to have a good weigh in tomorrow. I am not holding my breath though. I would need to "lose" the pound of water weight from this mornings weigh in to even make it to last weeks weigh in weight. Stupid ToM. Oh well.
My horse was fantastic today. I had bought him a new bit hoping he would like it, but when I switched back to his old bit today he showed me he really preferred his old bit!! Did 10 mins of trotting today.
 
Well, weighed exactly the same as last week which is fine since ToM is probably the cause. Hopefully will have a slightly bigger loss next week.

Mini Goal: 155lb by October 27th *MADE MINI GOAL Oct 19th*
Mini Goal: 150 lb by November 15th *MADE MINI GOAL Nov 9th*
Mini Goal: 145 lb By Dec 7th *Didn't make it* New Date: March 1 *MADE MINI GOAL Feb 22*
New Mini Goal: 140 lb By April 5th
Final Goal: 128lb
 
Hey, sounds like you had fun time with your horse.

Don't worry about the weigh - i m in the same boat..in fact i put on weight!
 
Thanks guys. Ya I was ok with staying the same this week, but of course losing is always better!
Did well today. Ate one meal at the horse show but stayed within my 1800 calories! Trying for 1800 cals again tomorrow!
 
Way to to stick to the plan. You're doing a great job at what is probably the hardest part of this: the home stretch.
 
Thanks guys. It's been a long day and it's 2am so just a quick pop in to say I finished off my day at under 2000 cals, but slightly over my goal. I'm ok with that.

Good work on keeping with your calorie goals , even with the horse-show eating out.

Keep up your goals- you are past 1/2way to your target of 128... keep rolling !
 
Thanks. I was happy with my weigh in this morning after having horse show food friday and saturday. Just 0.2 pounds above my friday morning weigh in. Hoping that's a sign I will be way down on my weigh in next week! At under my 1800 calories today!!

Horse show food generally consists of things like egg burgers (similar to egg mcmuffins), fries, hot dogs, hamburgers. My current addiction is their pulled pork poutine!!! yum yum!
Doing well today. Should finish under 1500 calories!
Bought a new riding Show Coat. The jacket was initially $928 but was on sale for $371!!! It's a bit of a gamble cause I bought it a bit small since I still have 15 pounds to lose. Hoping I lose it in the right area's so it will fit perfect for show season. If it for some reason doesn't fit when show season rolls around (and doesn't appear like it ever will) I should be able to sell it for at least what I paid for it (if not more)
