Burlesque Babe

Thanks.
Stayed within my cals today, and well below sodium. Gotta be really on track this weekend as I have to lose 2.4 pounds by April 5th to make my mini goal and the last 3 weigh in's I have pretty much stayed exactly the same! So I have only 2 weigh in's to get there! Crossing fingers!

Hey Mystic - good work on staying in cals today ! ...
have my fingers ( & toes... lol ) crossed for ya gal :)

Hey - good luck with losing the weight for the set date!
I m terrible with that! I can never make these goals (by date)

Crossing my fingers for you x

Thanks guys.
Within my calories again today. It was a long day today. Had a couple big dogs which always tire you out more than the small ones do. I left work a bit late so that meant by the time I went to the barn, rode my horse, went grocery shopping, bought bird food, I only got home at around 7:30. Made a super quick supper of a bagel with honey.

Hey Mystic, do you work with dogs? I didn't know. It is so cool that you have an active job - I hope I can find something where I don't have to sit for 8 hours !
Your supper sounds good!

Thanks. Yes I am a dog groomer so I stand all day, as well as lifting dogs on/off my table and into/out of the bathtub. Then plus my riding on top of that makes me relatively active nearly every day. (Though after I get home from all that I generally do absolutely nothing haha)
Stayed within my cals today (well, over by 3 calories), It was a bit of a high sodium today. Since friday mornings are my usual weigh in days I was gonna make sure it's a lower sodium day tomorrow, however I am at my parents' house starting tomorrow evening till sunday which means I won't be around my scale friday morning. I can weigh on my mom's scale but it could show something totally different from my scale!! A little cranky about this. What to do what to do...

I know what you mean about a different scale - when i go home (it's usually for a longer period - 4-5 weeks) so I have to use my parents' scale - which is ok I guess.
Just weigh yourself tomorrow and on Sunday - so you know where you stand (how much you lost/gained during the weekend)

THanks, though if I don't get back to my house to weigh I won't be able to weigh friday, saturday, sunday, or monday morning. Which is maybe a good thing cause the scale is still not agreeing with me! I weighed this morning at a pound heavier than I have been in the last 3 weeks. GRRR. Which means I didn't "make" my goal weight for the month (if that weight stayed the same for tomorrow) even though I had actually lost the correct amount earlier in the month. Le sigh.
Was about 59 cals over 1500 today but did some very rigorous calorie burning cleaning at my grooming shop today which took about an hour and a half so I think I burned off a couple hundred calories. For the rest of the weekend it will be 1800 calories.
THe vet FINALLY called today at 7:30pm (I initially called 2 tuesdays ago trying to get a hold of the vet and called 6-7 times since then. It was getting kinda ridiculous). Our game plan is to build up his work relatively quickly (as quick as his fitness will allow) then I can start jumping him in a month. Hope to move to my new barn my May so should be able to start jumping about then.

Grrrr for the scale, mine also showed heavier!! So irritating sometimes hey? But let's not lose hope and just carry on.

People not calling you back is sooooo frustrating - you feel helpless. I m glad the vet eventually called. I hope everything works out well!!

Hey Mystic... my scale was stubborn this week too... hope your Easter weekend away from the scale is a good break for U ,
... glad to hear the vet ok'd the training to get ready for jumping...in time for the new barn....that sounds great...

...sounds like U have a good plan for 1800 cals daily thru the weekend,
have a good one gal :) , and keep up the healthy work... the scale will catch-on soon enuf... it has to !

Thanks guys.
Well, a small loss is still a loss. Not sure how accurate my weigh in was as usually I weigh in Fridays first thing at 7:30am with nothing eaten beforehand. Today I weighed in at 12:30 after having a bagel at 9:30 then going to ride my horse, before going back to my house to weigh on my scale. Anyways, down 0.8 pounds from 142.4 to 141.6. I guess I should actually be happy enough with that since they say as you weigh less you tend to lose less, but still that's actually a one pound loss in 4 weigh ins/weeks with is a little extra slow. Won't make my goal unless I lose nearly 2 pounds in the next week.

Starting Weight: 168lb (Original Weight from a few years ago, my heaviest)
Current Weight: 141.6 lb
Mini Goal: 155lb by October 27th *MADE MINI GOAL Oct 19th*
Mini Goal: 150 lb by November 15th *MADE MINI GOAL Nov 9th*
Mini Goal: 145 lb By Dec 7th *Didn't make it* New Date: March 1 *MADE MINI GOAL Feb 22*
New Mini Goal: 140 lb By April 5th
Final Goal: 128lb

Thanks guys.
I was a little worried during the day that I would be quite a bit over my cals with how few cals I ended up having for the evening. Thankfully and happily I was able to keep within 21 cals of my calorie goal. Phew! Gotta keep in my calories if I want to have any chance of making my goal!!

Well as it stands right now if I eat all I have planned out I will be about 100 cals over my goal which isn't too bad. I was gonna stay under cals but went out for lunch with friends. I had a meal chosen that would fit in my calories but when I got there they apparently no longer had that meal available so I had to choose something else which ended up being a couple hundred more calories.
However, I currently am feeling very full and not sure if I am gonna have those last 170 calories. I am leaving in 45 mins or so to go out with friends, planning to just have water as they are going for drinks. Depends on when I get home, and if I'm really hungry afterwards to whether or not I'm gonna have those last cals.

Hey you, 100 cals over is not too bad. That sucks when they don't anymore have your choice in the restaurant. It happened to me 2 weeks ago. We went to a Mexican and they didn't have the plate I chose from the menu online. I was not a happy bunny.
I hope you had a great time with your friends.

Thanks. I was able to keep it to 70 cals over which I'm not really fussed about, though I could have stayed under if I had refused an ice cream sandwich I was offered. Oh well. Tomorrow should be an easier day for me as most all my friends are busy with Easter family stuff. Got my meals already planned out for most of the day.
