Thanks guys. Had a great day today, under 1500 calories! Wahoo! Went to the grocery store and they FINALLY had a decent amount of the yogurt I like (the ONLY yogurt I like). Usually I go and they have one, or more usually, NONE and it drives me bonkers. I thought there would be no way they would still have some left on a holiday monday at 7pm but they had 6! I bought every single one of them! Gonna throw something in my slow cooker over night to have for lunches and suppers for a few days.
 
She's baaaack!! Great job :hurray:with the calories, those whoopsies are in the past. The main thing is you got re-focused.

How's your horse doing? When will you be able to ride again?
 
Hey MR, checking back on the last couple pages, looks like you're doing great! Over the halfway mark, lookin' tough! Don't worry too much about the bad days, as long as they're outnumbered by the good ones, you should be fine. Keep it up!

We find out how my horse is doing on Friday (it was supposed to be tomorrow but the vet had to reschedule). Crossing my fingers he's good to go.
Today should be another day that is easily under 1500. Tomorrow will be a bit harder cause my mom wants to go for lunch then make perogies for supper. But as long as I can choose the lunch place and be thoughtful at supper I should be fine.
 
Doing great calorie wise. Gonna finish up about 16 calories over 1500 which I'm happy with. However I didn't realize my new chicken recipe was SO high in sodium. I am at about 3200 mg sodium!! I had in for lunch and supper. Even reduced sodium soy sauce still has BUTT LOADS of sodium! GRR. Will have to watch it tomorrow and thursday if I want to see a true number on the scale on Friday.
 
A sodium surge here and there isn't gonna kill you. Maybe try to reduce the amount of soy sauce next time around? Here's another question - do you have high blood pressure? If not, I really wouldn't worry about it. Then again, I'm no doctor, but I've seen many episodes of House.
 
Nice to see you string several good days together. Hope you survived the mon lunch without going too crazy.
 
Nice job on the calories. I think LJ is pretty spot on about sodium and hypertension, particularly at your young age. Maybe when you get to maintenance point you can get a little more vigilant about it. But I wouldn't obsess over it.
 
THanks guys. I don't really care a ton about sodium except for the fact that it won't show my weight accurately on the scales and it's disappointing when the scale doesn't show what you want.
 
Well done on the loss since I last dropped by!!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!

I've never paid any attention to sodium, everything seems to make me retain water so it just seems kinda irrelevant lol. Keep up the awesome work, you're string of good days has me motivated. I can do it too!!!!

So yesterday I finished up at about 1547. My scale isn't looking good for my weigh in tomorrow. Crossing fingers.
 
Bad scale this week means awesome scale next week! See, I learned how to invent good news from just about anything. For example, I have a party this weekend, but there's also a nasty ice/snow storm coming, so if I don't go to the party, I don't have to worry about all the beer and junkfood I'll consume!
 
Weigh in proccedures to follow:

Good weigh in- Feel good about yourself, do a little happy dance, re-affirm your resolve to stay on plan

Bad weigh in- Get pissed, examine where you went wrong, re-affirm your resolve to stay on plan

& I like Brawny's weigh-in rules.... :) ... get pissed-no problem- got that one down-pat, re-affirm resolve-gotta remember to do that one.. lol.

I was under 1500 calories today AND quite low on sodium so hopefully I get an accurate number that's as low as I would like.
Tomorrow is the day I find out if I can start riding or if he needs more time off. Crossing fingers cause I REALLY want to ride. I have been going so stir crazy wanting to ride that I have bought my horse a new bit, polo (leg) wraps, bought myself new stirrup pads AND half chaps. And I can't use this stuff till I can RIDE!!
So I will be anxious about my weigh in and horse till tomorrow (though the horse is much more important than losing a pound or not)
