Burlesque Babe

Haha, thanks guys!

Just got back from my dance fitness class. I really like these classes cause they are fun and you don't feel like the time is crawling by, however it's definitely not the same cardio workout as my treadmill/elliptical workout. It is though a better muscle work out I think. Today during the yoga portion though one of the people taking the class decided to do her own thing and was bouncing and flopping around, then playing on her phone. When the lights are turned way down during the yoga portion the bright light from a phone is very distracting!!

I was thinking this month, since I am not riding, that I would do both days of dance fitness classes. But I think more cardio is better right now so I will just do my burlesque class, one dance fitness class, then 3-4 days of gym cardio.

Actually research shows that varied exercise is better than doing the same activity over and over again.
 
AThanks. I am still doing varied exercise as 2 of my 6 workout days I do something totally different than the rest but the treadmill and elliptical get me sweating and my heart rate up much better than the dance class. I so also now and again do the bike but leaning over like that makes it obvious how fat I am so I don't like to do it especially if there are cute guys in the gym. Haha
 
Phew! Due to our talk of varied workouts I decided to do the bike today instead of the elliptical.

With my running, It's amazing how quick you get in shape. I have increased my run intervals from 3 to 4 minutes, and I have increased my speed multiple times! Today for my last 3 minutes I really cranked up the speed and gave'er till the end of the 30 minutes.

I don't like the bike much, aside from showing my fatness, it also is very tiring on the legs!! It's hard to push it for a good cardio workout when my legs are dying!!

Thanks guys! Had to work for part of today (my LAST Saturday, back to 5 days a week mon-fri!!) and immediately went to the gym and worked it!! Phew!! But it's great to be done my workout by 3:30!! I stepped on the scale right after work yesterday and was down quite a bit, but my cheat meal was yesterday so that's all down the tubes haha. Not sure if my stomach is getting smaller or if it was just the coke that filled me up but I could only eat 1/4 of my pulled pork sandwich, a small handful of fries, and a couple bites of my mashed potatoes.

AThanks. It's hard work but so worth it! When I stepped on the scale this morning it said I was 0.4 lbs away from my mini goal weight!! I am not gonna record it as official because I ate quite early yesterday and spent some time in a hot tub so I don't think I am quite that low. If I am the same weight tomorrow I will probably record it.
Added another minute to my run intervals so am now up to 5run1walk. My speed has gone from 4.5 to 5.0 (not sure what those mean as the treadmi doesn't say but I am getting faster too) I then run the last 2-3 minutes at 6.5.
 
Almost time to set a new mini goal! Pause and savoy the moment. Its the mini-victories that get the train rollin. Good job!
 
Thanks! I was quite excited to see that on the scale.

Yesterday when I said I spent some time in a hot tub, I actually wore my bikini. I initially told my friend no to going hot tubbing cause I couldn't imagine myself in a swimsuit. I then tried on my swimsuits. Tried on my tankini first cause that is my most 'coverage' swimsuit, then paired it with my bikini bottoms as those are my most attractive bottoms. I looked in the mirror and actually thought, it actually doesn't look too bad. I decided just for kicks I would try on my bikini top. I LOVE this bikini, it's the most flattering bikini ever and it looked BETTER on me than the tankini. I still wouldn't have worn it out to a pool or something where you are more likely to be in and out of the water, as bending forward was not attractive with my tummy fat bunching and hanging but standing or sitting more upright (with tummy sucked in as far as it will go) and it didn't look so bad.

Hoping the scale is still so positive tomorrow!

Starting Weight: 168lb (Original Weight from a few years ago, my heaviest)

Current Weight: 155.2lb

Mini Goal: 155lb by October 27th

Final Goal: 128lb


Only 0.2 away from my mini goal!! Woo hoo!

Well done Mystic, almost halfway through the 150's already and going very strong! I think you're well on your way to the mini goal with 12 days to lose 0.2 lbs :)
 
AThanks guys! It feels so great to be so close to my mini goal! I have to weigh in tomorrow for the club challenge so maybe I will make it to my goal by then. My goal for the end of the month for the club challenge was 150 so I have just over 5 pounds to get there!
