Burlesque Babe

AThanks guys! I know doing it once won't kill my progress and in fact it's probably a good thing. There are a few times that I shouldn't HAVE to watch everything that goes in my mouth! That's life and that's something that will happen if I keep this up long term and its good practise to have those days and get back on it
Woke up at 2:45pm today!!! And only cause a friend texted me! Couldn't believe I slept so late!! What a waste of a day!! However I did as I said and headed straight to the gym and worked out hard!! However it was such a great feeling today. I felt so happy, proud, and rejuvenated by my workout! And since I wasted most of my day sleeping I can make up a little bit for all the food I ate cause I will really only be having supper, plus the snack I had before working out and maybe one more small snack later if I eat an early supper.

Wanted to add that this weekend I fit into 2 pairs of pants I haven't fit into for a while! That always feels nice, however I tried on a few other pants that I used to be able to wear and still can't :( but I will get there!!

Excellent! I know the feeling. I have some tailor made suits that I haven't been able to fit into for least 10 years. I'll be ecstatic will I can fit into those suits again. I've just been buying off the rack for the past ten years. The last few years I have only bought suits from Goodwill because I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for suits that I hope to soon return to Goodwill for good.

A bedroom that faces west. I used to have one of those.

Having to go buy new clothing is mostly good, but I can be really cheap sometimes so spending money always stings a little. A few weeks ago I bought a few pairs of jeans making sure they were pretty tight at the waist to give me a little extra time in them. I have some old punk rock t-shirts sitting in a house in Wisconsin right now that would be neat to fit into sometime next year.

Luckily for me right now, I have clothes to fit me down to 145 lbs as that's what I got to earlier, so I don't need to buy anytime soon. But After probably 140ish I will have to start thinking about it.

So I had a small piece of toast with PB for snack before going to work out, then made myself a homemade pizza like I do sometimes for supper. Could NOT finish it, only could eat half!! Then felt a bit sick and very full. Gonna be a very low calorie day today, I wanted low calorie but not almost NO calorie!

Random pic of me from just after my gym work out! I was COVERED in sweat though you can't see it so well in the pic

Way to get back at it hard after a well deserved break. My weekend was very similar with beer and cheeseburgers in place of pizza and lobster tarts.

I have color coded workouts too. When I turn bright red I know my workout is over.

Hope you've recovered from what seemed like a busy weekend.

Thanks guys!! I was down just a touch this morning on the scale but probably just because I had very little in my stomach!

Wah! Still stuck at the same weight this morning. :( Oh well, it will come yet.

Starting Weight: 168lb (Original Weight from a few years ago, my heaviest)

Current Weight: 154.6lb

Mini Goal: 155lb by October 27th *MADE MINI GOAL!!*

New Mini Goal: 150 lb by November 15th

Final Goal: 128lb

So this is what I get to look at out my windows right now (this is just outside my grooming shop)

Le sigh... So much snow... so cold

(and my heater in my condo decided to stop working, of course)

On the plus side I had a great workout! Added yet another minute to my run intervals. Now at 6 (speed 5.0) run 1 walk. And I was gonna do my last 2 minutes of my last 6 min interval faster (speed 6.50 which would have brought me up to 29 mins then I was gonna walk one before switching to the bike. Well I got to the end of those 2 fast run minutes and decided to just keep going for that last minute! So did 7 minutes straight with 3 of those faster!

Also added a minute to the bike. I usually do 3 and 1's on the bike but switched to 4 and 1's today.

Really hoping to be down below 154 before friday!!

ARG!!! I showed a GAIN this morning!! I don't understand! I have never had this happen to me before any other time when I have lost weight! Obviously I am WAY under estimating the calories I am eating. So today I took my grapes out of my lunch and will only have a handful of grapes once a day, if I have tacos I will only have one not two, if I have a home made pizza I will cut it in half and save one half for the next day. My cheese buns that are suppose to be160 calories came with a lot more cheese this time than normal so I will be cutting that off.

I feel ya on the gain....I too had a setback on Monday. Trying to refocus.

When I get busy, I tend to eat crappy....gotta get my head around that and do some things differently.

Keep fightin

Any extra salt in the diet yesterday? Find I always pick up a pound or two after a salty meal. Try not to let the normal daily fluctuations get to you, it's normal for the weight to bounce around and as long as the weekly/monthly progress continues it all works itself out in the end.

I had kinda gotten into a rut where I was on some weird subconscious Atkins thing where I was eating meat, meat and more meat every meal of the day. Kind of plateauing so I decided to throw it a curve and had the carbriffic french toast (with maple syrup) this morning. Will see how I react. The big challenge with this sort of breakfast is lying to the personal trainer as to what I had for breakfast this morning. :)

Maybe mixing things up a bit diet wise at the same calorie level might do something.

Mixing it up from time-to-time is always a good thing. Can't hurt to throw your metabolism for a loop once in a while (assuming the loop isn't comprised of 3 pounds of bacon and a large milkshake).

See, but I haven't been eating crap, I have been eating what I THOUGHT was good/within calorie limit. Obviously I was incorrect.

Thanks guys. I am gonna fiddle with my food intake and see if I can get things going. It's just frustrating working out so hard only to GAIN weight!!

Yeah. Well, I think a certain amount of frustration is unavoidable probably. We joke but this is _NOT_ easy, because if it was none of us would be where we are right now. Our bodies are designed not to starve and so when you restrict calories it does funny things. You're not too far from your goal weight (I know it seems like it) so there's gonna be some fights to get all the way there.

To be perfectly honest, I feel about a million times better than I did 45 pounds ago and that is at least something I've managed to give myself that I hadn't had for years. If you are happier now than you were 15 pounds ago, then relish that and let that feeling of good overwhelm the frustration. Or at least try. I'm not always successful with counting my blessings, but at least now I give it a shot.
