Burlesque Babe

THanks guys. So finished off yesterday well. Was about 500 cals under my weekly goal, which is good cause I ate like 2700 cals today! Whoops! And I have a horse show this weekend starting on wednesday so things are gonna be tough but I'm gonna finish up in my weekly cals!
 
Another less than great eating day finishing up just under 2400 cals. But I'm ready and prepared to eat better for the rest of the week! Gonna focus on eating 1800 a day and not 'making up' for these 2 bad days unless it can be done easily. Have to be up super early in the morning to get to the show by no later than 630am.
 
It seems like quite a few of us are stuck in a bit of a rut right now! summer blues :p even though we've had record sunshine (atleast in BC) this month. Ya'd think it would be motivation to stay on track...

Ya, ruts sucks!! I'm still not doing as well as I'd like to be. Horse shows always have a way of doing me in! I weighed 137.2 on Monday morning, today I weighed in at 143.2!! I did NOT gain 6 pounds in 4 days, but have had too much food and lots of high sodium. Can't wait to get past these couple weeks of shows, though I need to try much harder next show to stay on track!
 
Sorry I've been a bit MIA lately. Haven't been doing great with my eating. Stupid shows and lack of food in the house haha. Hoping to do much better this week but not off to a great start!
 
Thanks guys. I'm definitely gonna keep going. I really need to get some groceries in my house! Maybe tomorrow as I show super early in the morning. Once my show is done I will try to get around to every's diaries!
 
Done my horse shows and went grocery shopping today so should be able to yank myself back on track! I am so bloated right now I weigh 10 pounds more than I weighed a week ago!! Gotta get that high sodium bloat off!
 
10lbs! :svengo: I thought I retained fluid. I feel like a blimp at the moment. You have shocked me Mystic. Time for us all to see some positive change I think! xo Cate
 
Yup, 10 big ole pounds!! Its crazy what a bit of bad eating will do!! I'm still not quite back on the wagon but I'm not letting it out of my sight and am hoping to catch up to it very soon! I always have had chocolate everyday of my journey and have been able to limit it to a small bit everyday, so when I went grocery shopping I did buy some. However b/c of my bad eating habits the last few weeks I have developed a craving for it and now, once I have some, I need more. So I think I need to cut it out completely till the cravings subside before adding it back in again. Of course since I still have chocolate in the house that is definitely gonna be hard to do!!
 
I'm working on that last 10 lbs too. Trying to get to around 130. Struggling as the weight isn't coming off as easily. Will follow along your thread and others in the home stretch. Looks like counting calories works for you. Have you had to adjust your exercise routine as your waistline shrinks? I'm finding I need to do more for the same tiny amount of weight loss.
 
Well, just hop right back on that horse...

...well I guess maybe I shouldn't use that metaphor with you since you already literally do that. Um, yeah. So just get back on track and those 10 lbs will disappear before you know it.
 
Haha, thanks guys. Still not quite there as I have been spending so much time with my family lately which involves different food choices than I would like to make. Tomorrow I have a BBQ which isn't great, but will try to limit myself where I can then plan to get fully back on track on Monday. I ran out of chocolate so that temptation is now gone. I am SO bloated and gross right now. Yuck! Recovering from a cold that zapped my energy completely. But gotta head to bed as I didn't get a good nights sleep last night and so am super tired.
 
Still hanging in there trying to get back on track!! Going camping this weekend so would really like to lose this bloated feeling before that!
 
Wahoo! Was under 1800 cals today! I went riding for the first time since the horse show and my breeches (freshly washed) felt a bit snug. :( but if I can get nicely back on track I should zip down to my lowest weight in a hurry and far beyond that! Gonna try to make rounds to other people's threads real soon!! All the threads I post on seem to be up at the top and being updated so it seems everyone is going strong!
