Bulk question

Eating between 3500-4000 calories a day, on a 90-95% clean diet doing a FBW 3xweek always starting with squats or deads for optimal HGH release and drinking three 25g protein shakes a day with one always after a workout, how much weight gain in 7 1/2 months should someone who is 140-145 lbs starting out see?I started bulking like this the day after Christmas and on July 13 when I got weighed on the scale at the Marine recruiters office I was a little over 180lbs.Even now I'm still about as big as I was then but I've beencutting like an emo kid(HIIT and long runs 5xweek), I don't have a six pack but I have the arch at the top of my abdominals and that V-taper that you get from your hip flexors, also all my muscles are more defined.I was just wondering if this was a normal amount of weight to gain in the given amount of time?I don't think I gained too much fat either.Sorry about the long post, I was just curious.:)

that's an average of 5 pounds a month, and 1.25 pounds a week. I think your bulk was alright, but it definitely wasn't all muscle. You could probably eat less and gain as much muscle without the extra fat.
I've already misquoted someone about muscle gain per week on a bulk so I won't throw a number out there.

I figured I put on more fat than I needed to but I was going for a bigger build, all I really got was a undefined slightly round stomach and slight love handles, other than that I didn't get fat looking anywhere else on my body, though I know it had to have been there. But like I said I'm still basically the same size though more defined.

Everyday i would eat this:

8am-protein shake
10am-4eggs, half a bag of hashbrowns, 3 peices of ham, pb on wheat toast, 16oz milk
1130am-FBW
1230pm-protein shake with omega3 capsules, multivitamin
2pm-2 turkey and cheese sandwiches, 16oz milk
5pm-snack consisting of fruits and nuts
7pm-2-3 servings lean meat, 1 can of spinach and a baked potatoe, 16oz milk
9pm-protein shake with omega3 capsules
1130pm-snack consisting of fruits and nuts

It was hard to eat like this at first, lol.
